Under these circumstances, awarding England's highest honor to a wretched man, who lacks any talent whatsoever... He is not considered a prominent novelist or author. They awarded him this medal only because he cursed the Prophet. Under these circumstances, awarding a medal to such a man entails a conflict with one and a half billion Muslims throughout the world, and you will gain nothing from this. The one thing that will happen is that you will see the Islamic world roaring together. In Islamic Iran, this revolutionary fatwa still exists. It is unchangeable and with God's grace, it must be carried out.

Why does God need them to do what they desire to do? God does not need them to murder Rushdie.
It's always the same with these Imperialist rationalization systems: self-serving and the desire for power are disguised as disinterested principle using religion-ideology as the camouflage. Weather it was Pizarro in Peru or the Muslim Imperialists conquering-exploiting-mass murdering in India, mass murdering at Constantinople, in Darfur, etc.-it's always the same story over and over again-everywhere with all Imperialist rationalization systems. The major difference between Islam and the other imperialist rationalization systems (British, Japanese, Manchu, Spain, Aztec, etc.)is that the non-Muslim practitioners of Imperialism were/are required to apologize for the dehumanization and abuse of "indigenous cultures", "indigenous peoples". Muslims (particularly Muslim Arabs) never apologize for their crimes in history (including the extensive involvement of Muslim Arabs in the African Negro slave trade).

Gee, I cursed the 'prophet' so many times that I should not only get knighthood, but every honor bestowed upon mankind! And they talk about no talents?!! I have to laugh. We are talking about a people who's societies go into stagnation because of their so called religion. Most of them can't even read what Rushdie wrote.
Rushdie is a crummy novelist, a socialist who could represent the Fatah wing of the "palestineans" or some liberationist movement for the Kasmiris.

C'mon guys, Ahmad Khatami is just trying to expedite the process, with the recent Muhammad effigy burnings by the Danes warranting immediate Islamic fatwa attention elsewhere.

The Muslim lie is that Muhammad is perfect, al-insaan al-kamil, the complete, perfect man. Being the "final" prophet, he is, according to Islam, the greatest prophet, greater even than Jesus (in spite of the fact that the Quran acknowledges Jesus' divine birth). Muhammad caused his milk mother's breast to become engorged with milk, moved trees around, took a night flight on a winged horse to the farthest mosque, etc. etc.
All Rushdie did was show Muhammad to be a man, a manipulative, hard-working showman and promoter a la P.T. Barnum. He is not shown as evil, murderous, sadistic, predatory. No, he is simply portrayed as "the hardest working man in show business (like James Brown, the Godfather of Soul)that's it.

I've heard Muslims say that Islam is all about love love love yet the word only appears twice in the Koran. How many times does it appear in the Bible? Not only love but God's steadfast love for not just his own people but strangers and sinners too. There is nothing that comes close to this in Koranic theology.
As for the Islamic roar ... the Bible calls this "wailing and gnashing of teeth" of those who are on the outs with God. Scandalously, God still loves Muslims and so we must reach out to them with the truth of Jesus Christ. If you are a secularist, at least reach out to them with the unmerited dignity of all human beings to security of person and individual freedom.

Muslim arithmetic kind of amazes me... according to most Muslims, there are 1.5 billion Muslims. That is quarter of the World's population.
Where are the Muslim population coming from - only from Muslim heads. When you really add the number of Muslims, you will have to stretch to make it 1 billion. The figure 1.5 billion is the usual HS.

The right to live unoffended? Since when is this a human right? When they insult other religions in the world this is not a violation of human rights? I have a problem listening to someone talk about human rights who certainly does not respect them. The right of speech only applies to speech that pleases them.

Then the rules of that game should apply to all involved.
Like i have stated many times about the Rusdie hoopla.It should be made known through the U.N. and anyother "group" that if the man is harmed there will be a heavy price to pay,a real price not the usual BS price,the mullahs themselves should offer to wipe his crack in case he were to die of an infected paper cut from doing it himself.
