Jihadists sabotage railroads in southern Thailand; rail travel disrupted, 18 injured in derailment

Thai Jihad Update. "Militants derail train in Pattani, 18 people injured," from The Nation:

Rail services in the deep South were halted yesterday after militants derailed a train in Pattani's Khok Pho district. At least 18 people were injured while transport was paralysed.
Track bolts were pulled out and rails destroyed in about five locations in Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat overnight, according to Thanongsak Phong-prasert, head of the State Railway's southern centre.
The train was en route from Nakhon Si Thammarat to Yala when it came off the tracks near Khok Pho's Na Pradu station at about 7am.
The SRT cancelled 24 train services in the three southernmost provinces until the lines were completely repaired and the situation was back to normal, Thanongsak said.

Like their counterparts who target air travel in the U.S. and elsewhere, targeting the railway infrastructure affords the Thai jihadists a chance at a national economic impact, along with the usual loss of life and property from their attacks.

Trains from the upper part of the country terminated at Hat Yai Junction, he said.
Militants frequently sabotage trains and tracks in the deep South. An attack in April injured a score of passengers and halted services for days.

Disaggregate, disaggregate. Show that you don't connect this with attacks on Christians in Indonesia, the Philippines, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Iraq, Lebanon, Egypt, Algeria. Shouw that you don't connect this to Beslan, Madrid, London, Moscow, Amsterdam, Jerusalem, New York, Washingotn, and of coure the Completely Separate Insurgency in Iraq. Do what Lt. Col. David Kilcullen, Ph.D., tells us we must do, in his own variant on the Game of Let's Pretend that everyone and his brother has decided we must play when it comes to Islam, lest Muslims be offended, and we can't, of course, have that.

Not "Only Connect." Forster's motto may be good for Edwardian England, but it won't do for today.

The rule for today, in dealing with Islam, is apparently to be quite (hopelessly, misleadingly, idiotically) otherwise:

"Only Disaggregate."

Fitzgerald/Spencer in 2008. God willing.

Okay Jehanzeb, if you read this can you please explain what the people of Thailand had done to warrant this? They're not in Iraq and they're not supporting Israel. How does Islam justify this?

What in Islam justifies ambushing policemen?
