Ohio: FBI investigates possible jihad terror threat against nuke plant

"Two Arabic men."

"FBI investigates possible threat against Davis-Besse," by Jacob Lammers for the Sandusky Register, with thanks to Cindy:

An alleged threat against the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station surfaced Sunday night, Ottawa County Sheriff Bob Bratton said.

The potential threat was viewed as serious enough for the to call in the FBI Monday night.

Someone called the Port Clinton Police Department reporting two Arabic men wrote a note on a napkin while at McCarthy's Restaurant and Pub in downtown Port Clinton, Bratton said.

Port Clinton police Detective Bob Case said a note was written on a napkin with the word 'boom' and a depiction of a power plant, not necessarily Davis-Besse.

The jihadists sure seem to like the Great Lakes region-- Chicago, Toledo, Detroit, Lackawanna, and so on. Toledo, which is, in fact, served by the Davis-Besse plant, seems to be a geographical crossroads in that configuration. Lucky them.

Perhaps jihadists figure no one pays attention to the Rust Belt. Let's hope they're wrong.

Two "Arabic men"?

Uh-oh! Someone call the PC police. I smell "racial profiling" in the air.

Never mind the mushroom cloud or toxic gases. That can't happen anyway, right? It's more important that we desensitize Americans so that they stop viewing a joke (right?) as a threat of terrorism.

"I have been made victorious through terror"

Suppose they can swim????

The Goobs, you know that question ends in "with cement blocks", right?

Al-Qaeda has promised "something special soon"...

If we continue to give a place in this country for islam, this threat will also continue.

Nuclear power belongs in the history books. If we refuse to see this, and continue to give the devil a place at the table, this event is going to happen.

Sooner or later, the last nuclear plant will be built, and closed. How fast may be up to islam.

As if arabic men near any nuke plant (let alone here at all) taking notes could NOT be terrorism in the making?
LMAO...once again, when mOslem men are involved the take leans closer to skepticism of terrorism than when it happens if there's a chance larry the cable guy could've dont it, which is definitely terrorism!
(total sarcasm)

Keystone Kops don't hold a candle of comedy compared to the PC thought police expected to perform like REAL law enforcement.

We're a target waiting to happen unless we stop PC, and do it...fast.

Geez, do we really want to be playing these cat and mouse games? One of these times, one of these damn jihadist is going to accomplish their goal and a lot of people will be dead. It's a lot cheaper and safer to just deport all these muslims-of course Bush will never do anything as sane as that.

arabic men anywhere near any nuclear site is enough of a suspicious nature. l am in the middle of the Great Lakes area and let me tell you there are enough of the Mafia, Teamsters etc, here to put these characters in the middle of Detroit river in cement blocks, or any other part of the Great Lakes waterway systems. Remember the old movies when anyone wanted a hit, you called Detroit.

mrock has a helluva point...
ya see, here, law enforcement is so PC, and the defense lawyers are so militant...we actually have to catch them in the act, or openly admit to it (even then they claim coercion), that real law enforcement has become a joke, a discouragement, and an outright farce because of PC.

State/provincial/federal attorneys are too hesitant to even try to go after them without ironclad hardcore "red-handed" evidence against them, for fear of those same "lynne stewart" types suing them for whatever bogus reason they can think of...only to have to let the criminal terrorists go for lack of enough evidence-like it or not, that's what the Patriot Act was for, but is now killed off as an effective express lane to arrest.

Yes, there's a lot more, but that's the basics of the problem...I'll leave this end open as quite a few more have plenty of valid points to add to this...

Davis-Besse threat was falsified

...

Katelyn McRitchie, 19, of 615 Fremont Road in Port Clinton, admitted to making up her story of finding a napkin where two Middle Eastern men had written the words "Davis-Besse" and "boom", according to Port Clinton Police Department.

Maybe next time the threat may be credible and then it will make sense to jump all over it.

I have marks on my big map of the US. This is one. The grid they have been working on that, to knock out all power from here to NY. This of coarse is just ONE!

The power plant by me, is on Lake Michigan. If you go under water it is strange as if someone is working on something with the power plant, a constant tapping, banging. The water made me really sick though. It was very warm! It made everyone sick who was there!

Two Arabic men???

No kidding.
