Well, Friday is upon us, and that means that all too many Muslims worldwide are being stirred up in khutaba (sermons) to hate Sir Salman Rushdie all over again, and to take to streets in protest.

Anything and everything. Infidel owned businesses (a few still remain), shops, houses, the security forces, the lot. Mindless destruction. In most of the cases, the boys use tear gas on them. IMHO they should start using something else on such demonstrations and that would solve not only this problem but the greater one of Kashmir.
Nothing like a good, hate filled sermon to start enraging people. Who needs buddies like these?

As a proud, unyielding, "Wetnerner" I am happy to say that I do not want (nor need) any friends like these!
I cannot imagine how hard a heart must be for one's life to continually be filled with such hated for EVERYTHING. It is a outward sign of a terribly sick and twisted mind and, even worse, a completely dead soul. My heart breaks to see so many people who are so totally lost.
Salvation has been offered to you! Jesus Christ is the Son of God!! He came here and died a sacrifical death for people who are totally unworthy of His grace (i.e., me and you). He can forgive the vilest sinner. Salvation and eternal life are there for the asking- He stands at the door and knocks, pleading for you to let Him into your life.
Jesus can bring you a peace that I truly do not think you people can imagine. A life filled with joy and happiness praising the King of Kings. Eternal life with the One who was, who is, and who is to come again. He can wash you clean from your sins and make your life totally new.
Eternal life- no death, no destruction, none of this absolute insanity I see your people display- is offered to you and everyone in the world, if only your hearts will accept.

Actually, I think it is "Jeff" Thomson. I do not think his parents knew the right way to spell Geoffrey.
I agree, the boy should be removed from that arena and taught how to play cricket because he does have a good bowling action.

One of the favorite stunts that muslims like to pull is sending rock throwing kids out in front of the cameras while adults crouching behind them are firing AK47's with live ammo!
Naturally, when a few soldiers get hit with live rounds they fire back with rubber bullets, but the kids are shot in the back by the AK47s.
The press loves that kind of footage because it makes soldiers and police look very bad because the cameras never seem to catch the AK47's -- just the kids falling dead in front of the camera.

I wonder if one couldn't make a fortune setting up a bowling alley chain in the Muslim world where behind the 10 pins would be various portraits of hated western infidels like Bush, Rushdie, the Pope, the Queen etc. A major drawback though is that instead of bowling balls, they'd probably get a much better kick out of throwing shoes and shoes wouldn't travel well down the length of a standard bowling alley. Perhaps a shoe toss ala the model of horseshoes - with the portraits strategically placed under the target? But then that sounds a little passive - not enough anger in that one. Back to the drawing board. Entrepeneurs definitely need to put their heads together on this one cause I bet there literally IS a fortune to be made in the Muslim world if someone could come up with the perfect "death to the infidels" game. Who knows - if it got big enough it might even go international and eventually find a respectable place at the Olympics, once that too is eventually corrupted by moral relativism along with every other global, international institution.
