Sarkozy invites Hizballah to France

So much for Sarkozy.

"Sarkozy invites Hizbullah to France," by Yaniv Salama-Scheer and Herb Keinon for the Jerusalem Post, with thanks to Sr. Soph:

In a significant diplomatic shift, French President Nicolas Sarkozy will invite Hizbullah to take part in a conference on Lebanon scheduled for later this month in Paris, and begin "engaging" Syria, The Jerusalem Post has learned.

New French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner has invited delegates from across Lebanon's political and religious divide to the conference aimed at quelling Lebanon's violence and political strife.

In another sign that France has decided to step up its involvement in the Middle East, Sarkozy is to meet Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas in Paris on Tuesday.

Regarding Syria, diplomatic sources in Jerusalem said France had let Damascus know it was willing to reengage with it, but that it would not in any way back down from its firm support for an international tribunal to try suspects in the 2005 assassination of former Lebanese premier Rafik Hariri, or from its demand that Damascus "keep its hands off" of Lebanon.

...well, Frances Peacekeepers in Lebanon has already been casting their eyes aside as Syria re-arms Hezbollah in Lebanon....And the French Peacekeepers have threated to shoot down Israeli reconnaisance jets....

...It appears to me that France is already cooperating with Damascus.....

Why not after all it is French UN troops who are 'supervising' sorry letting Hezzbolah re-arm and re-militarise the Lebanon border area with Isreal its only right they go to Paris to thank the French for all their assistance.

All the parfume cannot cover the stench that is France.

Quite a few people were too enthusiastic about the election of Sarkozy last month, I’m afraid. While he looks favourable in comparison with Royal, Bayrou, Le Pen and the rest of the pack, he is by no means the ideal European leader to halt and reverse the islamization. He is now trying to commit himself to the ‘peace proces’, or whatever the constant bullying of Israel is called, in order to win sympathy from other parties of the French political spectrum. After all, anti-Israel opinions have a cross-class appeal in France.

Or all the oil of Total cannot pay for this in the long run.

I did not have much hopes from this gentleman when I read about his "get paid to leave" program. No way such a thing will work for France now since the muslim population is too high. Some really radical policy was called for and Sarkozy did not have the stomach for it. He can "engage them" till Kingdom Come and they will remain just that, muslims. All this time, with increasing numbers, things will continue to go to hell in France.

At the risk of sounding idiotically naive, could it be that Sakozy is doing this on Condi's behalf?

I don't have a problem with Sarkozy talking to these guys.

Keep your friends close! Keep your enemies closer!!! We can't forget these principles.

Only if he imprisons them is there any point in this invite.

And that's about as likely as a truffle singing the Marseillaise.

I would love to invite all of Hezbola,Hammas,Fatah,Al Qaeda and all the other "freedom fighters" and "resistance" groups and what the heck all thier supporters and sure all the bleeding hearts and while i am at it all the U.N to visit me at my house. We will just have one big blow out.

It's the lone vacant looking house on the block....never mind the ticking noises those are just the timers for the count down for a surprise celebration that will be held many blocks down the road at another party.

By the way don't any of you be late! There is a fireworks show set to go off and i wouldn't want a single one of you to miss it.

Peace. (flashes the v sign)

Dar al harb's idea does have a certain appeal. Or perhaps Vladimir Putin might be able to lend M. Sarkozy some polonium to spice up the conference dinner for selected guests...

Alternatively, profitsbeard's idea - 'only if he imprisons them' - has merit. Arrest and public trial for Crimes Against Humanity, or for Incitement to Racial Hatred (with the Hamas Charter and its citation of the fraudulent Protocols as Exhibit A), or an invocation of RICOH principles to nail them on all that embezzled jizya money. Honestly, I'll bet that Hezbollah henchmen have probably squirrelled away a good cut of the money IRAN has given them, for personal use. No honour among pirates.

However - if Lebanese Maronite Christian leaders have been invited - perhaps a large public gift of aid and succour as required, that they may defend themselves...darura, darura.

It's never too late to end a bad habit. Just do it, France. Go cold turkey. Publicly, face to face, let these bastards know that you are cutting the ties with Islam. That the jizya - ALL the jizya - is going to stop. That you intend to form solid bonds with non-Muslim middle-easterners and that you are prepared to back up same with armed force as necessary.

Honour, France. You have lost your honour - but it can be renewed, by honourable deeds. Let it be known, even at this upcoming conference, that you will henceforth stand with Israel AND with the Christians in Lebanon, and that you will defend Lebanon against Syrian greed.

M le President Sarkozy - every time there is a symbolic lynching party against Israel in the UN, with some insane hate-Israel resolution being proposed - instruct your ambassador to vote against it - and to publicly invite the Israeli ambassador to dinner afterwards. (We don't seem to have any French posters on jihadwatch at present...French lurkers? if you are reading this, and are in agreement, perhaps you could write to M le President to propose such a course of action? It would do a great deal to heal the hearts of Jews who still feel deep hurt from the actions of Vichy France during the Shoah. Do it in the name of the blessed Simone Weil, Jew and saint of France).

Anybody got any ideas for adapting the Al-Anon Twelve Step Program, for the use of recovering-ex-dhimmi persons and nations? Or perhaps the sort of counsel that is given to victims of abuse (battered wives, etc) in order to help them break the abusee mindset?
