Saudis funding Hamas

Friend and Ally Update. "Millions of shekels transferred from Saudi to Hamas: Charity associations in Jerusalem receive millions of shekels to fund Hamas hostilities," by Aviram Zino for Ynet News (thanks to IG):

According to two indectments served Monday, millions of shekels have been transferred from a Saudi organization to Hamas operatives in Jerusalem. The money was received as charity although, in reality, it was earmarked for terrorist activities. Following a request from the Jerusalem prosecutor's office, details of the affair were released for publication Monday after the Shin Bet and Police investigation was concluded.

Two indictments were served on members of the organizations involved for breaking the law that prohibits funding terrorism.

The millions of shekels were received from the Charity Coalition – an umbrella organization that encompasses Hamas charitable societies in Saudi Arabia.

The money was transferred to non-profit organizations in the A-Ram neighborhood of Jerusalem to conceal its final destination – the Hamas movement in the city.

No surprise that the Saudis have their dirty hands in Gaza. Wahabbi theology is the basis of Islamism and the Saudi oil barons have been spreading their war against the West for decades.

We need to destroy the power of Saudi Arabia by lessening our dependence on oil. We defeated the Muslim hordes in Europe through economic superiority before, and we can do it again. Had President Bush spent 600,000,000,000 on research and development combined with a war-measures effort on converting to a less oil dependent economy, we'd be much further ahead in defeating Islamic supremacist Muslims. We must cut them off at the knees economically as Osama Bin Laden is trying to do to us. War is expensive and the Saudis will not be able to wage it if they must care for their own people without the benefit of oil revenues. They would be an Afghanistan if they had no oil. They would be nothing without their oil. They could not get A-bombs without oil. Screw the global warming fearmongers, we must get off oil because of the Sharia Muslims who want to destroy our freedoms.

The ghost of Yaser Arafat lives on as his successor, Mahmoud Abbas, is simply Arafat in a $1,000 suit. The stripes on a leopard don't change easily. In the Islamic world, they hardly ever do. But to Abbas' credit back in January 2006, while under extreme U.S. pressure to have "free Palestinian elections," Abbas earnestly sought to delay them sensing Hamas would come to power as they did. So the brutal reign of Hamas began, duly elected. The White House and State Department insisted on the elections, sure that the "curative powers of democracy" would solve many issues. Rice later stated, "Nobody saw it coming," meaning the win by Hamas.
The Israelis pulled one of the most foolish geo-political acts of the 21st century by pulling all Israelis out of Gaza two years ago. History should have taught them that whenever they pull out of any area, even Lebanon in 2000, it will then get infested with barbarians.

So radicals are now in charge of Gaza, a 140-square-mile strip of land on the Mediterranean Sea along Israel's western border that is packed with more than 1.2 million people, most of them desperately poor and some trying to flee to Israel. Hamas came out on top for now. Hamastan will become "terror central" in the Middle East, all because Israel acted with good but foolish intent in the fall of 2005.

So now both Israel and America are squarely behind Abbas' Fatah organization. Abbas' Fatah funds the al-Aksa Martyrs Brigade, a terror outfit that has spilled as much blood as Hamas has. Nonetheless, when Olmert meets with the President this week, the topic will be shoring up Abbas and Fatah, talk about giving up more land, and peace at any price--elusive peace only attainable from the Prince of Peace.

As Christian commentator Jack Kinsella states, "The entire scenario is the result of the global adoption of the simplistic and moronic notion that there is a difference between a 'moderate' terrorist and an 'extremist' terrorist."

The U.S. is backing Abbas with aid and military assistance. Israel's government will do everything possible to preserve that regime as well. Clearly, Israel's worst enemies are her own leaders who, as secular humanists, believe in the basic goodness of man if treated fairly.

Over the years billions of dollars of aid have been donated to the Palestinian Authority and much of it has been your tax dollars and mine. In 2006, the Palestinians collected more Western aid per capita than any other people on earth. Most of it was stolen by the leadership and put away in private banks in Europe. Arafat set that tone and Abbas has followed suit.

How will things change? Fatah still is a criminal gang, and it inevitably acts like one. They are not religious fanatics such as Hamas but both outfits are brutal terrorist organizations. Abbas earned his doctorate on the fact that the Holocaust was a myth.

Joel Rosenberg says, "It's too early to say for certain, but even at this early stage two things are clear: 1) Iran's efforts to surround Israel and prepare to 'wipe Israel off the map' have just been significantly advanced and thus the prospect for a full-blown war in the Middle East this summer or fall now seems more likely; and 2) U.S. politicians had better think twice about a precipitous withdrawal of American military forces in Iraq before the Iraqis are ready unless they want a repeat of the nightmare in Gaza."

(NOTE: We now carry new products by Joel and others here http://www.olivetreeviews.org/catalog.shtml#others This includes his new DVD "Epicenter.")

Here is the bottom line: The State Department is trying to cast Abbas in the role of "peacemaker" simply because his party is seeking an easier way to destroy Israel, not because Abbas has suddenly rejected the PLO Charter, which still calls for Israel's destruction. Despite promises to amend this Charter, it has not yet happened.

Middle East expert and author Brigitte Gabriel says, "It starts with the Zionist enemy who is occupying the Holy Land, and the violence and the hatred spread dangerously, like fire, in the psyche. They consume everything around them, and the first thing they consume is the light of reason. Thus, we observed, and gave our blessing to, the conflagration of violence and hatred and its expansion is the fraternal violence we see today."

Make no mistake. We are essentially re-visiting the ominous days of 1938. It took everything that the freedom-loving people of the world could muster to vanguish evil then. This time we may not be so fortunate. This time the forces of evil will have nuclear capability.

Sanity and common sense have run amok in the "epicenter" of the earth. Perhaps that is why the world is always picking up the pieces, not enjoying peace. And it is the "everlasting hatred" outlined in the Bible, playing out in perfect time in the "end of days."

Parting thought: Will the media pick up on the fact that Palestinians are now finding Israel a haven of safety? Likely not. It's still big, bad Israel.

Say with the Psalmist, "I trust in you, O Lord. Our times are in Your Hands" (Ps. 31:14).

Jan Markell

Typical... The USA funds both sides of the issue.

Humanitarian needs are fine, but they should not be without conditions.... ALL funding from Western Nations should be cut to ALL Islamic fanatic supporting entities.

Funny how Saudi Arabia is so concerned about funding Muslims engaged in terrorism, yet leave their fellow Muslims to starve in Darfur....

Well, now you know where your gas dollars go.
What we can do now is to present this and other instances as proof that the oil revenue is being used to fund terrorism, and use that as a pretext to sieze the Mideast oil fields. No money, no jihad!
Okay, I'm a realist. I know that's not going to happen...yet. Just give it time. The Wilsonian project has to run its course, then people are going to eventually see that there's no other alternative. Conservation and alternative fuels won't be enough. Hope I'm wrong about that.

l urge everyone to call, email, fax to your local congressman, or equilveant, and stop all money going to the Palestinians. Let them get their funds from the rich arab oil rich brothers! if they have money for bombs, let them get it for their food, shelter. no more money from infidels!

Someone tampering with Type Key again?

Americans funding Fatah. What esle is new? I bet you Fatah is getting more money than Hamas will ever dream of.

Ha,people act surprised.Although they are just trying to buy sway over the Al qaeda prescence,as well as aid thier frankenstein.

This whole thing in pallywood probably came about due to the whispers of the pious Al qaeda in the ears of the pious hammas.

The Saudis will do whatever it takes to keep the Jihad aimed at all else but them.

Like them arresting those jihadists in Saudi arabia, they must have said something bad against the kingdom.

The irony is the pals were saying not so long ago how they would rather be ruled by Israelies than the freakshow that was killing them. Now they can't run into the "apes and pigs" arms fast enough.

Leave them all to wallow, will islam never be left to learn a lesson?

The better solution is to back the jihadis, not the royal family. Let the place descend into chaos.

Chaos in the Arabian Peninsula would lead to a breakdown of the oil production business, giving a perfect excuse for some corporate entity to arm itself and move in. We currently fight using political proxies, it's not a big step to corporate proxies. Six million screaming jihadis would be no match for Halliburton, Black Water Consulting, two dozen F-16s, and the Ethiopian Army.

Let the oil fall into a Western corporation’s hands. Somebody is going to eventually seize the resource. Better Halliburton than China or Russia.

Yeah, they have been doing this for quite a long time now. This is one reason why I don't understand our 'friendship' with the Saudis - or even the Pakistanis. the Saudis fund the terrorist training camps in pakistan too.

I would have assumed that this was an 'act of war'. But I guess not.

So, if the Saudi's can contribute, and every muslim charitable organization can contribute, then why can't we Americans contribute to groups of people that are fighting for their lives against these people, or can't get U.S. State Department assistance or asylum, or find groups that want to go after these guys and target them?

You want to see the coin flip....support money that goes agaisnt the Saudi family and goverment...and you will see how quickly the U.S. State Department responds.

Bid suprise . I despise the Saudis ALMOST as much as i despise AlQaeda. They are not our friends.

edit: Big suprise ^^

What is infuriating is not that Saudi Arabia, our mortal enemy, is funding Hamas, but that it is not being asked to fund Fatahas well. It is absurd that the American government, that any Infidel government, that any Infidel taxpayers are being forced by their governments anywhere, to support Muslims in the style to which they have grown accustomed – to wit, living on the disguised Jizyah of foreign aid from Infidels, even though they remain implacably committed to the Islamic view of Infidels, and certainly in the case of the “Palestinian” Arabs of Fatah, determined to make life hell for the Israelis and to keep every kind of economic, diplomatic, and military pressure on (including terrorism, which is hardly limited to Hamas but was copyrighted by the “Palestine Authority’s” presiding genius, Yassir Arafat, and continues today with such organizations, having nothing to do with Hamas and everything to do with Fatah, as the redundantly-named Islamic Jihad and the Al-Aksa Martyr’s Brigade. The Instant Makeover of Fatah as some “moderate” organization sticks in the craw of every educated person who has been following its non-evolution, its permanent commitment to Jihad.

The only thing that distinguishes Fatah from Hamas is that the former group of gangsters are a little more willing to utter a word or two to turn on the tap of the Jizyah, and apparently Abbas’s casper-milquetoast appearance is enough to disguise or make everyone forget his own history as the right-hand man of Yassir Arafat – his collaborator and assistant in everything. And that is all one needs to know about Mahmoud Abbas, save perhaps for his Holocaust-denying doctoral thesis, and his directly contradicting his smooth assurances to the Americans when he addresses audiences of fellow Arabs and Muslims. That is, Fatah, being more corrupt, and more worldly, is more interested in getting that Jizyah started and, furthermore, being more worldly, understands that before going in for the kill, the “Palestinians” aided by other Arabs and Muslims, must spend another decade or so subjecting Israel to constant pressure, pushing it back, literally, forcing it to give up territory, and control of aquifers and invasion routes, that will make the daily life of Israelis absolute hell, and cause Israel, that already lives daily with a level of danger that no other country must endure, to live in a state of maximum peril from here on. It is a quarrel over loot – look at the glee with which the Hamas members vandalized and took things from the symbols of Fatah’s wealth, those villas, belonging to Dahlan, to Abbas, to Arafat himself. They wanted that loot for themselves, they wanted their share.

Everywhere Arabs and Muslims who claim they need support should no longer get it from Infidels, for they take it as if by right, as Jizyah, and the donors begin to give it, as if they must pay it or no longer remain in the good graces, as they see it, of those Muslims to whom they give that money. This is psychologically bad, for it encourages Muslim triumphalism, and encourages a state of dhimmitude among the Infidel donors.

On the other hand, if Fatah has to receive money from rich Arabs – remember that famous Community of Believers, that umma al-islamiyya? – then it will never be satisfied with the paltry amounts it will be given, never be grateful, always ask for more, and the rich Arabs, who are incredibly selfish, will be put on the spot, because they are supposed to share their wealth with fellow Muslims, and what will happen if the poor Muslims begin to mutter that the “oil wealth” should be shared with all the world’s Muslims – that isn’t exactly what residents of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the Emirates, Qatar, want to hear, want to have bruited about.

And we, as Infidels, want as much dissension and rancor and envy within the Camp of Islam as possible. And we want as much of their discretionary income, in the rich oil states, soaked up a spossible supporting Egypt, Jordan, Pakistan, the so-called “Palestinians,” because that is then money that the Saudis and others will not have available to spend on mosques and madrasas and campaigns of Da’wa and local hirelings, all over the Western world.

A Presidential candidate or two must speak out about this. If they do, and if they begin to use that word “Jizyah” and to denounce the payment by our government of what they will call Jizyah, they will go sky-high both in the opinion polls, and in the opinions of the educated, and they will deserve to.

Who is going to speak truthfully about this matter? Who is going to do it first?

Let Allah feed his own jackals.

Thx, Hugh.
Of course, to speak the truth you have to know a bit about it to begin with...and those candidates aren't exactly Islamic scholars.
Like those penguins, Frank!

No surprise here about Saudi Arabia. Hugh has expressed what the collective disdain by the infidel should be.

Hugh wrote:
"look at the glee with which the Hamas members vandalized and took things from the symbols of Fatah’s wealth, those villas, belonging to Dahlan, to Abbas, to Arafat himself. They wanted that loot for themselves, they wanted their share."

Indeed. The loot or "booty" as Muhammad said that Allah said, is a central point in Islamic history. It was a main impetus for Muhammad's self-created belief system of Islam. Starving in the desert and being ostracized by one's own tribe tends to evoke just this type of desperate response, with 1/5th of the booty being appropriated for the "prophet" himself, of course. Muhammad was many things, but a fool was not one of them and it certainly served him well in his time.

Understanding Islam as it existed historically, and as is applied today, is not as complex as "rocket science", for example, but the learning curve of the West, who continue to live in ignorant oblivion, continuing to pay the jizya without question, is disheartening.

The entire region is more than adequately destabilized. Islam has the innate ability to achieve that goal all by itself. Rather, it should be viewed as a fast-forward in time, a time where Islam is uncontested, and the true in-fighting begins, for Islam cannot sustain itself without an enemy to subjigate and conquer.

The question should be: Why is it any concern of our's anymore? Every day, dollar and life spent trying to change the minset of the Islamists in the region is a new lesson in futility, a lesson hard-learned, apparently.

Hamas AND Fatah, as Hugh pointed out, is directly funded by Islam by the endless petro dollars of the West. It certainly is not coming from Iran, a country that could easily be crushed economically by the West, if we only had the will and more importantly, the knowledge to do so. I hear gasoline hit an all time high in Iran today...35 cents a gallon.

Disheartening, indeed.

All excellent points Hugh.
End Jizyah Now.

Absolutely NO MORE JIZYAH.Have vague memory of reading 'Battle of Maldon' in my childhood. An old
English Earl received demands from local Viking Chief for Tribute-Dangeld. Old fella's reply was that he had nothing to offer any Viking except'the point of a spear and six feet of good
English earth'...
Our weakling PC leaders of today prefer to offer
our avowed enemies money, every kind of benefit,
funding even their mosques & madrassas. As long as
'you don't hurt us,' they bleat in a disgusting display of cowardly Dhimmitude.
And demands for 'Danegeld', Jizyah get louder and
louder...

I am **SO** surprised... LOL.. ROFLMAO!!!

Or: No.. **REALLY**??!!

The SOWdis..? HOW could these staunch "Friends and Allies®" of ours...?

How COULD they??!!!

Imagine THAT, you a**-kissing Jorge al-bin-Bush!!!

WHAT exactly DO our 'leaders' discuss in their secret National Security meetings?

HOW many visas are we giving to SOWdi 'students" this year??!!

16000 I hear.. just this year ALONE!!

Who NEEDS border security when they can just simply travel in convenienntly in First Class and air conditioned via Frankfurt?!

"Funny how Saudi Arabia is so concerned about funding Muslims engaged in terrorism, yet leave their fellow Muslims to starve in Darfur....

Posted by: Robert"

.....The Saudis are aware that Darfur is sitting on large amounts of newly discovered oil fields. I suspect the Saudis are participating in a massive land grab scheme...First you move the people of Darfur off the land...this is being done by the mercenaries known as the Janjaweed and other paid soldiers...Second, you control the government...THe Sudanese government is financed a great deal by the Saudis. The Sudanese government readily accept Saudi money as the US and other western countries have an embargo on the Sudan. Third, you continue to use oil as a weapon...Saudis have mastered this technique and the Saudis are teaching the Sudanese government....Business is beginning to boom in the Sudan with Saudi Arabia controlling the strings....

....The only thing standing between controlling the oil wealth weapon and being able to use it are the poor Muslims of Darfur....it is not surprising to me that the Saudis are willing to starve them (with the assistance of the Sudanese government) and to force them off the land...The Sudanese government bows to the demands of the controlling Saudi government....also, the Muslims in Darfur are not of the insane violence prone type of Muslims we see elsewhere in the world...This does not sit well with the Saudis...The sooner the Muslims of Darfur are off the land, the sooner the exploitation of the oil can begin...

....putting oil aside...the other reason the Saudis want control of the land is Gold...recent discoveries indicate that there maybe a vast goldfield in the Darfur region.....Next to oil, gold will drive people to kill...

.....It all may indicate that the Saudis may love money more than Islam....and by controlling oil money and vast amounts of gold , the Saudis just feel important...THe Saudis may be financing terror across the globe and the Saudis may be causing a lot of distraction by financing the building of Mosques and the Saudis may be supporting terrorists of every nature in the Name of Islamic supremacy, but it just may boil down to control of money, oil, and gold....and the poor Muslims of Darfur just stand in the way....

Hugh:

If the Saudis are giving money to Hamas it's only because they are trying to buy back Hamas's loyalty from the hated Shias of Iran, whose coin Ismael Haniyah gratefully accepted and used to volley a larger number of rockets at Israel from the and kidnap Gilad Shalit last summer.

What the bejeebers? The saudis funding hamas? Our great friends and allies, the saudis? Who woulda thunk it? Benny Hill theme song please. We need to find alternative fuel and get those infestive bugs of our back.

exsgtbrown, don't forget that the janjaweed are arab and their victims are african.

so much for the 'equality of the races' quoted by muzlims and their apologists...
