Anyway, here again is a Qur'anic exposition in favor of the jihad ideology. In response all we get from peaceful Muslims are vague condemnations of "terrorism." Bin Mahmoud states that Allah commanded the Muslims to fight their enemies fiercely, without compassion or mercy, and uses Koranic verses to back up his assertions. He extols the example of Abu Mus'ab Al-Zarqawi, who cut off the infidels' heads and struck terror in their hearts.The following are excerpts from the article:
"When… Al-Zarqawi Went Out and Slaughtered a Few Infidels, the [Advocates of] Tolerance and Friendship Had a Fit""The way of [waging] jihad changes according to the [available] means, innovations, ploys and practices. The Muslim nation is the strongest nation in history... since it has the mightiest prophet, the mightiest book [i.e., the Koran] and the mightiest religion on Earth, and it is the nation which strikes its enemies hardest, [since it fights them] according to Islamic shari'a. Owing to these qualities, [the Muslim nation] is the most awe-inspiring of nations, and nobody [dares to] covet [what belongs to it], as long as it adheres to its principles and to the sources of its strength, which are the Koran and the sunna.
"It is no exaggeration to say that many Muslims today have never heard of the Koranic verses [that speak of] jihad... and do not believe that the Koran includes verses that speak of force, firmness, terror and cruelty, since they have heard so much about peace, security, compassion, friendship, justice, grace, honesty and moderateness. These are all words of truth, but in times of war, they are used to express falsehoods.
"When the emir and commander Abu Mus'ab Al-Zarqawi went out and slaughtered a few infidels, the [advocates of] tolerance and friendship had a fit. They jumped up, made threats and swore that this [act] runs counter to the spirit of [Islam]. How much suffering have these people and their supporters caused us! When we told them that Allah commanded to cut off the heads [of the enemies], they would say, 'be mindful of Allah, and do not make things up,' and we had to bring the Koran and show them these verses so that they would believe [us]. Some of them even turned the book over [and looked] at the cover to make sure that it really was the Koran. These [people] had read the Koran many times, but they had not read it [carefully]..."
"The Perfect Muslim is Gentle with His Fellow Believer and Harsh Towards His Enemy, the Infidel"
"A quick review of some Koranic verses [will help us] characterize [the concept of] cruelty in battle, so that the Muslims understand the truth about this matter and [realize] what is missing from their [school] curricula, sermons and religion courses. The [Muslim] nation must urgently familiarize itself with these military aspects of the Koran, so that it can deal with its enemies and fight [them]... in the way prescribed by Allah in order to grant [the nation] victory. After the great battle of Badr, Allah told the Prophet [Muhammad]...: 'It is not for any prophet to have captives until he hath made slaughter in the land. You desire the frail goods of this world, while Allah desires [for you] the hereafter; and Allah is Mighty and Wise [Koran 8:67]'... The word 'prophet' in this verse appears in the indefinite form, which means that [all] the prophets used to kill many of their enemies by the sword rather than take them captive... "The first real battle fought by the Muslims was the battle of Badr, in which they captured many polytheists in order to hold them for ransom, according to the custom of the [pre-Islamic] Arabs. Allah rebuked them and explained to them that this was not the way of the prophets, for [the prophets] killed many of the infidel leaders and soldiers in order to purge the land of them... and [in order to] prepare the world for da'wa for the sake of Allah. "[The question is]: This violence, ruthlessness and firmness - Is it [meant to be] a permanent law and feature of war, or does it apply only to the early [years of Islam]? The answer [is given in] Koran 9:123, where Allah says: 'O ye who believe! Fight the infidels who are near to you, and let them find ruthlessness in you, and know that Allah is with the faithful.' This was one of the last suras to descend, its verses were among the last to descend, and the laws [they set out] are timeless... Once again, let's not look at Spencer's ump-teenth regurgitation (sp?) explanation, but rather his sources. The MEMRI article, like it's well-founded scholarly tradition, has no links to anything, no original sources (or any hint that there ever was an original source to begin with). The only thing you can find with either an English or Arabic Google search for either the GIMF (without the abbreviations because Arabic isn't abbreviated) other than shebab nonsense is an Israeli intelligence site and a blog claiming to be this GIMF (or whatever)--April 17,2007 is not listed.
Also, MEMRI's "additions" to the text to make it more readable are unecessary and should exist in the original Arabic text and not added later for coherence, that is of course unless this guy writes in a pre-Islamic form of Arabic (which is possible, given there is no indication as to the original text whatsoever).
I have placed an e-mail into MEMRI like I have done numerous times quesitoning their sources and very sketchy translations, but I guess former Israeli intelligence officers have more important things on their mind than accuracy.

Getting the truth out one way or another should be the goal. In this lengthy work,Bin al-Fahd (a Saudi) affirmatively answered the question of whether it was permissible under the four schools of Sunni Islam for the mujahideen to use nuclear weapons against the United States.

Jihad is a precept of Divine institution. Its performance by certain individuals may dispense others from it. Ibn Khaldun (d. 1406), jurist (Maliki), renowned philosopher, historian, and sociologist, summarized these consensus opinions from five centuries of prior Sunni Muslim jurisprudence with regard to the uniquely Islamic institution of jihad: [15]

To anyone with half a brain, these texts scream "protection racket", "standover tactics". The 'call' is made. 270 million is the number killed that we know of and can account for. However, there are very likely tens of millions more murders by jihadists we have no statistics for, but which nonetheless almost certainly took place. I have read accounts from Hindus that stated over 90 million Hindus were massacred in the subcontinent by Islamic invaders. Greece suffered losses of many millions in past centuries as the Islamized Turks overran and destroyed what had been Asia Minor and part of the old Greek empire; I doubt 270 million figure includes massacres of Greek civilians as the number of Christrians killed by Islam in the 20th century alone is over 50 million. The number of Christians and Jews in killed by Muslim invaders in Hindustan is unknown and may well number tens of millions more massacred at the hands of Muslims.
There are many parts of the world which forcibly became Islamicized after Arab or other Islamic invasions and all historical records at that point in such areas were expunged (as for example Java, Sumatra, and Malaya). No records remain of purges that almost certainly happened and are thus not included in the 270 million figure. Wasn't Central Asia Buddhist for many centuries and how many records remain of the purges against "unbelievers" by Muslim invaders there exist today? Not too many I believe.
Islam is also responsible for World War 2 (at least in Europe) and that rarely gets mentioned much less included in historical jihad fatality statistics (despite the fact that Hitler's blitzing of London was ordered by Haj Amin al-Husseini as part of a fatwa ruling against the UK).
The number of people murdered by Islam over past 14 centuries is probably closer to half a billion I would say.
