Why doesn't the vast majority of peaceful Muslims work actively against the distribution of such material, and institute programs in mosques and Islamic schools to teach against this violent ideology of Islamic supremacism? Why do they stand passively by and let jihadists distribute this material among Muslims?
To ask such questions is to answer them. But no one in the mainstream is asking them.

its aims, and form the support network for the
violent jihadists. "Peaceful Muslims" make up a
very tiny, insignificant portion of the Muslim
world.

The peaceful ones, being a tiny minority, without
the weight of Islamic scripture on their side, are afraid to confront the jihadists.
The real question is: "Why we don't just remove
the problem from our midst, by whatever means
necessary?"

Well, I am not Zena, but I would agree that Mohammad gave Allah a promotion. Or, possibly the demon Allah promoted himself. Either way, it's a huge leap in godship to go from one of a gang of rock gods, to the one and only God. You (Mohammad) can call a rock a god if you wish, but the reality of the universe is more than your wishful thinking.
