Thai army advises suspending issue of visas to Cambodian Khmer Muslims, suspected of migrating to increase Muslim population in southern provinces

Thai Jihad Update: A study in demographic conquest. "Army recommends suspending visas for Khmer Muslims," from Thai News Agency:

SA KAEO, June 7 (TNA) – The Royal Thai Army's Burapa Task Force, which oversees the border with Cambodia, will advise the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to consider suspending issuing visas to Cambodian Muslims after finding that increasing numbers are crossing the border and travelling to the kingdom's southern provinces, a senior officer said on Thursday.
Burapha Special Task Force Division 12 commander Col. Chaichaiyan Sothornchai said the special task force is investigating information that the southern insurgents were using the strategy to increase the Muslim population in the three southernmost provinces by encouraging Muslims from Cambodia and Myanmar to join their co-religionists in the South.
According to immigration records, Col. Chaichaiyan said, since 2005 almost 20,000 Cambodian Muslims entered Thailand legally via Aranyaprathet in the Cambodian border province of Sa Kaeo, and then travel on to the southernmost provinces.
Of that number, according to the records, only 10 per cent returned to their home country, Col. Chaichaiyan said, expressing his concern regarding the rising number of Khmer Muslims entering Buddhist Thailand.
"There are also a lot of Cambodian Muslims who enter the kingdom illegally," he added, "and they cannot be counted."
The question of not issuing visas should be addressed carefully, he said, and the Burapa Task Force would ask the Ministry of Foreign Affairs via the Internal Security Operations Command to consider suspending issuing visas, temporarily, to Cambodian Muslims.
On Wednesday, Thai Army Rangers and provincial police arrested 48 Cambodians in the eastern province of Sa Kaeo, bordering Cambodia, at highway checkpoints there, while three more Cambodians were detained at the Aranyaprathet border crossing.
Of those arrested, eight are Muslims, travelling from Cambodia's Kampong Cham, who said they planned to go to Thailand's three southern border provinces to seek employment.

Seeking Employment? As what, Trigger men.

A Muslim pecker ban...what will they think of next....

..."the southern insurgents were using the strategy to increase the Muslim population in the three southernmost provinces by encouraging Muslims from Cambodia and Myanmar to join their co-religionists in the South."

So now we know the stealthy strategy and agenda of the Islamist junta chief and his interior minister to boost the population of the Muslims to subvert the country.

There are Mohammedans in Cambodia? Crap! - how did Pol Pot miss them? At any rate, Thailand should capture them and deport them to Malaysia.

Has Thailand done anything about its actual Southern border with Malaya, since this Jihad is a Malay Jihad against the Thai?

Lebanon on Friday was reportedly considering stopping issuing entry visas to Arab citizens at the airport in a bid to prevent any terrorist infiltrations into the country.

The daily An Nahar said contacts in this regard were already underway between the Foreign Ministry and the General Directorate of the General Security Department. It said Arabs interested in visiting Lebanon would be asked to apply for visas at the Lebanese mission accredited in their countries.

The move comes after several citizens from various Arab nations suspected of having links with the terrorist groups Fatah al-Islam and al-Qaida have been detained in recent weeks.

The Demographic Jihad.

this proves how important it is to keep borders strong, and keep out the riftraft.

Estimated Muslim percentage of pop in Cambodia as of 2001 - 3.9 %. Most belong to just one tribe/ ethnic group, the Cham.

I assume their presence dates back to the late middle ages-16th c when Muslim merchants and pirates plied the routes from Arabia across the Indian Ocean and Bay of Bengal, around south-east Asia to the southern ports of China.

The Muslims of Myanmar/ Burma form about 3.8 % [rough estimate, I assume] of the population - they comprise Chettiyar of Indian origin (there are also Hindu Chettiyar in Myanmar), and the Rohingya of Arakan [province?] who 'descend from Arab, Moor, Moghul and Bengali people who settled in Arakan [in Myanmar] 1000 years ago'.

It does not seem to take a very high percentage of Muslims in a society to cause trouble out of all proportion to their numbers. Which makes absolute nonsense of the 'tiny minority of extremists' argument...
Societies with 'only' 3-4 % Muslims, take note.

PS: Does anyone have any information on Muslim vs non-Muslim relations in Sri Lanka? The Muslim percentage of the pop stands at about 7.6 % - most are 'Moor', of Arab-Tamil ancestry.
