UK: Muslim women abuse soldier at troops hospital

Yet another illustration of loyalties.

"Muslim women abuse soldier at troops hospital," by Mark Nicol in the Daily Mail, with thanks to E.B.:

A British Army officer has been abused by Asian women while on a hospital visit to troops injured in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Company Sergeant Major Neil Powell was surrounded and heckled by three young women in the unprovoked verbal attack at Selly Oak Hospital in Birmingham.

The women, in traditional Asian dress, ranted about the presence of British troops in Muslim countries.

The incident took place in a public area of the hospital used by both civilians and military personnel.

I guess thats the PC way of saying they were wearing black burqas with full face niqab.

Company Sergeant Major Neil Powell was surrounded and heckled by three young women in the unprovoked verbal attack at Selly Oak Hospital in Birmingham.

Sickening!!

Someone needs to find those women and prosecute them as enemy combatants. They should be deported at a minimum.

Of course it would have to be in the U.K. If they proceded to heckle one of their own in say, saudi arabia or perhaps iran, these women would have very likely been buried up to their necks and stoned to death.

Nope, I haven't heard of any Nuns doing that... You would think that someone in the Hospital would have enough backbone to kick these women out the door. I'm sure that if I were to have verbally assaulted these women, I would have been kicked out in a heart beat...

Cheers,

'Asian' is just the way we Brits refer to those from the sub-continent, whether Muslim or not. I doubt if it's part of any effort to maintain PC-speak. Certainly not from The Mail!

This seems to be a bit of a non-story to me. I'm sure this NCO retained his composure and got out alive. The real story here is that these women can protest at all; that's what our country allows them to do. Yet another example of the freedoms we in the West give to Muslims and how they turn them against us.

Love to see 'em try it in Saudi or Pakistan ;)

Un:dhimmi

This is a stupid label, since the implication is that non-Muslims from the subcontinent - Sikhs, Jains, Parsis and Hindus - are as likely to indulge in such behavior as the Muslims. I agree that there is that segment of the Infidel South-Asiatic population that is Leftist and pro-Islamic - you see examples of that like in Sir Meghnad Desai. However, using the term 'Asian' to describe them is no different from calling them 'Males', or 'people from other backgrounds'

"Of course it would have to be in the U.K"

Some of us Brits are getting a little tired of this kind of talk from people that are supposed to be fighting the same cause.

Yes, there are some breathtaking examples of Dhimmitude here in the Motherland - but a certain contingent of Americans appear somewhat blinkered when it comes to equally ridiculous over-acccomodation of Muslims in their own backyard. Islamberg, anyone?

/mini-rant>

The women, in traditional Asian dress, ranted about the presence of British troops in Muslim countries.

-from article

Okay, what the f*** is that? Hindus and Sikhs wear traditional Asian dresses too. So is that supposed to mean that little old ladies in saris were abusing this poor soldier? I'm not British but still, the Asian-instead-of-Muslim thing is getting old.

"This is a stupid label"

Hey infidel, I'm not defending it - it is stupid - not to mention somewhat inaccurate. I'm just telling you that's the phraseology that has common currency here and has done for years. It's a convenience thing. ;)

Yet, if we rant about the presence of Muslims in a Christian country, we are racist and islamophobic.

mustang65:
Of course it would have to be in the U.K.

Which means what?
I dont see enlightened anti-dhimmitude coming from any of your elected officials so your in the same boat as we are. Pretty much, left-leaning political correctness is dominant in all Western countries.

Personally I would like to see these 3 women beheaded.

that soldier should of ripped up those cow's burka's and told them to shove up back to their favourite cesspoolstan.

Un:dhimmi, you took me wrong or I didn't express myself clearly. I meant to impress upon the fact that those women were obusing freedoms in the U.K. Freedoms that they can't otherwise fathom. And I did not enjoy seeing an upside down American flag on a mosque in bostonistan.

ok mustang - point taken - just getting a little touchy about it recently that's all!

Meanwhile, If anyone does harbour any doubt abut the ordinary Brits and our commitment to fight the Jihadis, they need to read Michael Yon's dispatches from Iraq - he's a US writer embedded with British and US troops, for those that aren't familiar. Excellent stuff.

"Personally I would like to see these 3 women beheaded"

I can just see it UK IL - BEHEAD THOSE THAT INSULT BLIGHTY!

Put me down for one of those banners LOL ;)

this shameful incident seems to be another reason not to close Haslar, which is "the last military hospital in the UK and will be closed in 2009". see

http://www.bbc.co.uk/hampshire/content/articles/2007/03/26/haslar_march_feature.shtml

the Labour MP for Selly Oak, Lynne Jones, seems to completely miss the point. the standard of
clinical care at Selly Oak may, or may not, be good, but it seems clear that the security is not.
yes, this incident was minor in itself, but since it is known that there have been plots to attack returning soldiers it is only common sense to provide good security for them when they wounded and vulnerable.

I'd like to see them try that here...
Oh, that's right, forgot...here, it's felony stalking and aggravated assault/battery.
No wonder they don't do that here, where they would get physically beaten down if not shot outright (there'd be a severe backlash)...they only do it when they know they can get away with it.

One thing for sure...since they're considered cattle compared to their masters, it's a sure bet they were ordered to do that by the males in their respective armory...ooops, I mean mosque.

Forget about the Sergeant, what about the poor patients that can't defend themselves against these creatures?

I would suggest they investagate any deaths that have occured at that hospitol.

I would have started to make pig noises, just to see them running & shreaking in terror.

So what are these women doing in Britain? Why aren't they in their "traditional" countries?

There's one way to keep the West out of Muslim countries. Muslims could stop threatening to take over the West.

Another way is for Muslims to learn to get along with others and to play nice. We don't want your mosques and we don't need them, but we don't object to your having them, even in "historically Christian" countries. How about returning the favor once in a while?

The use of the term "Asian" in the British press is a big problem because it only sometimes refers to anyone from the sub-continent. At other times it's simply a PC substitute for "Muslim".

This causes confusion - especially for foreign readers who aren't familiar with the code. But the worst part is that, intentional or not, the habit constantly frames ideological incidents in terms of race and ethnicity. Race and ethnicity have little or nothing to do with some of these stories, but the papers (even the conservative ones) keep banging on with "asian-this" or "asian-that".

For the sake of clarity, journalists should use more specific terms when the specifics are available to them.

If we did that, we would be arrested for making racial slurs. I've gotten to the point where I detest minorities because they can do anything to us, yet if we retaliate, we will be arrested. Just another incident to make my blood boil.

M Al-Content:
the Labour MP for Selly Oak, Lynne Jones, seems to completely miss the point.

No I think not. She understands the points perfectly well. What you have missed is that she has many Muslims in her constitutency. She is saving her electoral skin. Birmingham has many Muslims. Disgusting behaviour for an MP.

I hope the soldiers didn't get smeared with too much guano.

“'Asian' is just the way we Brits refer to those from the sub-continent, whether Muslim or not. I doubt if it's part of any effort to maintain PC-speak. Certainly not from The Mail!”

True, but you get the impression that the term “Asian” is meant to confuse issues, not clarify them. After all, “Asians” should include Russians from Siberia, Chinese from Hongkong and Indians from Kerala. Unfortunately, it’s become a catch-all euphemism in Britain for anyone not wishing to label anyone a Muslim and thus to risk the accusation of “Islamophobia”. If I were a Siberian Christian, a Thai Buddhist or an Indian Hindu, I’d be hopping mad at being lumped in with Muslims!

(Just seen Jan Sobieski's comment along much the same lines!)

How are the muslims at Islamberg being accommodated? Do they ask or demand anything from the town?

Suddenly all this focus on Islamberg. It's been there for over 20 years. It didn't seem to bother you all 6 months ago.

If not, why not?

I'm sure the soldier knew the phrase "Slag off!"

And I hope he used it effusively.

The women, in traditional Asian dress, ranted about the presence of British troops in Muslim countries.
What the..?!! Excuse me?! Why don't they go to those nations, and fight, instead being cushy and confy in the infidel land, eating infidel food? Go fricking back to your rat holes if you don't like it here.

Darn it, man, this kind of bloodsucker mentality really ticks me off.
If you don't like Western presence in Muslim land, then a) SOLVE YOUR OWN PROBLEMS b) GO THE HECK OUT OF THE WEST!

“'Asian' is just the way we Brits refer to those from the sub-continent..."

Muslims from the sub-continent. "Sub-" quite a number of things.

Need I point out that a bunch of women, probably foreign, were not afraid to get up in the face of a British Army officer.

That tell us anything about conditions in Britain?

Does that tell us anything about the respect accorded to Britain's culture and authorities and ... um, men?

This "ABUSE" sort of gives guerilla theatre a bad name. Those in the know must get the word out that these type of staged "incidents" will continue to be executed at any moment anywhere and via methods most peculiar.

To call these despicable sluts 'Asians' is an insult to all Asians.

If I was Japanese or Chinese I would sue this crapola newspaper for defamation.

I guess this is what they mean by British Opression?

http://www.britishoppression.com/

Don't start me!!!

Hey Sheikh

Don't knock the Mail - sure, it's a little populist and lacking in gravitas - but it's the only mass-market UK paper that isn't afraid of being labelled Islamophobic&trade and normally runs some excellent RoP exposés.

Despite it's many shortcomings, It's sending the message of the 'Peace Of Islam' out to ordinary folks in Britain that the rest of the MSM is keeping from them.

That said I am a little surprised they didn't mention the 'M' word in this article. The usually call it like they see it.

Dont give me this crap about traditional asian dress. I am sure it was a burqa and not a sari with bare midriff. Get real you politically correct ass kisser. A spade is a spade!

...I guess the soldier could have opened his little brown bag and pulled out a barbeque pork sandwich to munch on while the 7th century retards were spewing their vile comments...and with a casual flick of the finger he could have slung a little pork juice on them as he wiped it from his dripping lips...

It's odd that the women are referred to as "Muslim" in the title but "Asian" in the text.

Why not simply use the word "Muslim" throughout? If you're going to call a spade "a spade" then you should be consistent.

Perhaps the journalist who wrote the article did not pick the headline. Maybe the sub-editor simply did not spot the inconsistency or didn't regard it as significant.

How about stupid muslim women in a BRITISH country?

I think the British army officer should have punched the women. The new mufti down in Australia has cleared up the matter of Qur'an 4.34 by letting us know punching is okay, but beating is right out... except when beating is okay.

In this case the larger army man should have punched them down to the ground, but not breaking bones or knocking teeth loose.

If the honor of the British army was impugned, then perhaps the women should have been given a coup de grace when they hit the deck, but since I don't have all the details it's rather difficult to make that assessment. Do let's shelve this topic until material facts come in.

retraction: I made mistakes in the posting above, saying some things I shouldn't have.

It was the former Mufti of Egypt that said 'punching good, beating not good - except when it's good', not the new replacement Mufti for Austalia. My apologies.

The punching/beating is still good.

"Women wearing Asian dress." Watch out for those ladies in sarongs and kimonos.

Women wearing Asian dress

I hear they wear G-strings under them.

You guys got it all wrong. It's their way of flirting. Goobs , I'll betcha they went shopping for those G's and were terribly disappointed when their hot Brit wasn't turned on. Have pity! these poor women have to go home to impotent emasculated muslim husbands Who may give them 2-3 minutes at best.
