"Woman in UK 'groomed' as bomber" from the BBC:
The former wife of a British Islamist extremist has said her husband suggested she carry out a suicide bombing against the UK.
Speaking exclusively to the BBC's Newsnight programme, the woman said her husband showed how she should strap an explosive belt around her body.

The BBC is not identifying the South Asian woman for security reasons. However, her husband is known to have fallen in with UK extremists sympathetic to the aims of Osama bin Laden.
In the interview, the woman told Newsnight's Richard Watson how her husband and fellow extremists would talk about what they believed to be their duty to follow a course of "jihad" - in this context referring to attacks against the perceived enemies of Muslims.
"He used to say we should all do jihad because he used to give an example of a woman who was a suicide bomber in India, who killed herself," she said in the interview.
"My husband told me I should join him to participate in jihad as well."
The woman told the programme her husband attempted to give her instructions in how to turn herself into a suicide bomber by concealing explosives under baggy, traditional, Islamic clothes.
"He would tell me how to use a [bomb] belt around the waist," she said. "Whenever he would discuss these matters I just would ignore him and go to the kitchen."
"Uh, yes, dear."

The woman said: "I told him I'm not interested at all. He was very clever. He told me how the girls tied the suicide belt around their waist and [wore] the hijab over the top.
"I would go to the kitchen or visit my friend. I told him that I don't want to listen to these sorts of things. Why should one spoil her or his life to kill innocent people? I would walk away."
In the interview, the woman claimed that three weeks before the 7 July 2005 London bombings her husband and his jihadi associates were warning about an attack.
"He said that something would happen and he would flee but I would be trapped. I told him I'm not going anywhere, I will stay.
"He said all his other colleagues are sending their wives away so I should leave as well."

Another indication of Muslim repect for the institution of marriage. I would joke that it sounds like he wanted to trade her in for a new model, but what disturbs me most is that these people think that the value of their lives is based on killing and death. How can we have substantive conversations with people who brag about loving death as much as we love life? This mentality hurls us towards an inevitable confrontation that will end with one side standing and the other annihilated. And if these people insist on taunting and threatening our lives and our children's security who will fault us if we say, enough is enough, and simply solve the problem by blowing them away?

This woman is an accessory before the fact. She should have reported her husband and all of his colleagues the moment they started in, but she didn't. Does she also have her priorities screwed up?
She goes to her children, but her children will be taught by people who believe as her husband does. She should lose her children since she clearly has no regard for human life that is not Islamic.

....keep her mouth shut was her priority...she obviously has seen what becomes of disobedient Muslim wives....Muslim live in fear of death for any reason under the sun as determined by the Muslim males....Being stuck in Islam is a death sentence....Islam is for losers...

I think the reason why she didn't tell anyone is not only living in fear but also the basic lack of charity in Islam. It seems like it would never dawn on most of these people to risk their lives to save another. Where are the Sidney Carltons (A Tale of Two Cities) in Islam? Maybe it's driven by fear but I think the lack of charity boils down to selfish laziness.

Her confession should be used against her and she should be prosecuted to the fullest extent as an example to all other Muslimahs "living in fear". You're right. I was still thinking about the Taleban children being recruited and their parents weren't happy but could only say their identity was Islamic.
I realized after I posted that the last sentence should have ended after "life".
She doesn't care about the lives of her children or her husband (It wasn't clear if he planned to participate in the attacks. The article said she was the former wife, not the widow. Did he die on 7/7?) but she clearly wasn't bothered by the idea that many non-Muslims were to be killed in the name of Islam. She can't even claim blissful ignorance, since she knew exactly what was being planned. Maybe not date and time and location but she knew the people and she knew what they wanted to do and she kept her mouth shut.
