When it comes to Israel and Islamists in the West they hit bullseye aftre bullseye.

I wish there was something like the Terrorism Awareness Project in UK campuses. It's a shame, because British universities really need something like it.

Excellent. I was glad to see mention made of the 850,000 Jews who fled Arab countries in the formation of Israel. Muslims like to pretend that the issue is about holocaust survivors in Israel. The truth is that the very presence of any Jew (Mideast or otherwise) in Israel is an insult to Islam because of the dogmas of Islam. The Jews must be returned to their Dhimmi status or worse. It's all rooted in this demented belief-system part of which is Jew-hating madness.

In the final analysis the whole structure of Jihad rests on hatred of Jews, but that hate is not only for Jews, it is for anyone who dares to think freely and feel freely in anywhere. The Jihadists come for the Jews first, but then they will come for other unbelievers, and then they will come to kill other Muslims. Their god is a river of blood that never ends. That is why the Jihadists must be ruthlessly destroyed. They are an enemy to all humans who desire to think and feel freely this life.

I wish more people would see these videos, and realize that, we are facing a global war against an enemy that hides in our midst, uses our money to raise the next generation of terrorists, AND wants special treatment in the lands they plan to destroy.

I commend David Horowitz et al. for one of the most cogent and compelling presentations I have ever viewed on the net. I pray that this goes a long way in clearing things up for the thoroughly disinformed.

Nonetheless, one little problem I have with this presentation is the constant reference to "the Arabs." Even though we all know darn well that Dr. Horowitz is not in any way prejudiced towards Arabs (I have seen time and time again that he goes out of his way to give voice to moderate Arabs and Muslims that are pretty much ignored by the drive-by media.). I fear that many liberals seeing this video will regard the reference to "the Arabs" as a form of "right-wing bigotry," even though nothing can be further from the truth.

For the record, I hate Arab culture just as much as I hate Islam. Like Hugh, I believe that they are almost interchangeable. But like most of the jihadwatch audience, I make a distinction between hating a culture/religion/ideology and the people who have had the misfortune of being indoctrinated.

Here is the problem: If we want to target modern liberals who are thoroughly indoctrinated with the multiculturalist mindset (as I was), we need to change some of the wording so that they understand that the producers of this show make a distinction between the culture/ideology/leadership of Arabs, and "the Arabs" (after all, the help of Arabs in allies Morocco was pivital to the fight against Axis powers).

Even substituting the word "many Arabs" or even "most Arabs" for "the Arabs," can go a long way in appeasing the multiculturalists without sacrificing the truth.

Just a thought.

I normally admire and applaud David Horowitz, but this video was disappointing - limiting itself as it did to just the modern aspects of this conflict post 1922. Despite the references to Hasan al Banna, Hamas statements and the fact that Jews lived in Israel before the 7th Century Arabs conquered it, I saw little that squarely identifies Islam as the root cause of this conflict.

This video should have included the Hadith about the Jews hiding behind stones and trees that's included in the Hamas charter

If the Terrorism Awareness project is trying to highlight Islamic Jihad as the source of all terrorism, this particular video - even though it was limited to Jews - did a very poor job in demonstrating the Islamic underpinnings of Judeophobia.

The Israelis should have expelled all Muslims from the state in 1967 when they had they chance, the "moral high ground", the sympathy of the world, and military justification.

(They would have gained the ire of Muslims, but they had they sewed up already.)

Their lack of survival instincts at present are strange, considering the pogrom-riddled history of the Hebrews.

I was never a pacifist (I previously supported the so-called "liberation" of Kosovo) nor am I European, but my initial reaction to 9/11 was (to my shame) that of a typical leftist (anger at the U.S. and Israel).

Only when I read the Koran in order to "prove" that Islam was no worse than Christianity did I fully come to term with the true scope of multiculturalist lies that post-modernist society had been feeding me.

In fact, I somewhat resent the way that the term "liberalism" is so thoroughly misused. The real liberals of the 18th and 19th centuries (Montesquiue, Diderot, Hume, Tocquville, Mill...) would be totally disgusted, as are some of the really liberals of today like Ayaam Hirsi Ali, Melanie Phillips, and the late Orianna Fallaci.

As someone whose mind was once corrupted by the leftist mindset, I hope to be better qualified at knowing what works and what doesn't work in convincing modern liberals to join our cause.

I personally learn lots of things on this website and the searches I end up doing on subjects that I know nothing about. I'm just an average uneducated American. I can say that for me, this video was very informative. I think lots of people would get lost quick if this video tried to deliver as much as you mentioned in your post. One reason is, muslims are always bringing up events from the past to play victim. It ends up seeming like a contest to see who can bring up the oldest war story. I'll leave it at this, to keep the events current like this, plus include some nice pictures of the land divisions like he did... pretty much gets a good point across. Just my opinion. I don't want to seem like I'm trying to bury historical events. But most people I try to inform wont have notebooks or..

I think the video does an excellent job of presenting the basic facts of the Israeli/"Palestinian" conflict, which are not presented in the MSM, and which will come as a surprise to many who have not studied the history.

True, it doesn't go into the Qur'anic motivation for the jihad against Israel, it doesn't make the point that Israel is just one infidel target among many of Islamic jihad, and it doesn't go back hundreds of years. I think that's fine; it has a narrower topic, and it covers it quite well.

Kudos to David Horowitz and the Freedom Center.

I agree with that mostly, but would like to add:
Muslim's individually, are the most materialistic people on earth. They have a perverted version of,
"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you".
This require's staying alive. Their perversion, requires, death, preferably in jihad. A muslim's greatest paranoia and profound concern, is that they may NOT be selected by Allah to go to Paradise.
Their materialism is not of this earth, it is the self serving, selfish act, of getting into heaven by pleasing Allah, no matter who they have to kill, torture or abuse.
So the first thing in line is a selfish motivation, individually and as a group.
To make Allah happy, you have to defeat all of Allah's hated foe's. That start's with Jew's but also includes, Christian's, Zoroastrian's, Hindu's Buddhist's, Shintoists, Taoist's, wiccan's, ect, and those ever Allah resistant pigmy headhunter's in the Congo. I agree that while it may be a good intro, it's not different from other presentations about the Israeli case - see these examples from Conceptwizard. Which is why I found it so disappointing. In the public, there is no shortage of commentators or leaders who recognize the Israeli case - even though the number of pro-Jihadi elements in Western society outside the ummah is distressingly large. But the number of public figures who are willing to identify Islam as the root of this conflict are probably in single figures, which is why I hoped that this Terrorism Awareness Project - particularly given JihadWatch's association with it - would highlight those attributes even more. As it is, it does a worse job than even the documentary Obsession - never mind Islam: What the West needs to know.

I'd suggest that any such presentation should be made not to those anti-Jewish segments of the media and society, who are likely to reject them anyway, but at pro-Israeli segments of the media and society, who are likely to be more open to the consideration that Islam is to blame for all of this. That's what I expect from this project - not a 'me-too' approach on making the Israeli case, which sometimes is even more inadequate than the 4 presentations I linked to above.

I agree with you, but given what already exists - see my example above - it needs to be more ambitious. And much as we all love and support Israel, this needs to transcend Israel - show Muslim depravations in Kosovo, Kashmir, Thailand, Indonesia and a whole host of other places.

Horowitz delves into the religious aspect in his other two videos, available on the site. This video was about the politics of the middle east and thus he focused on the Israel/arab conflict.

I hate to say it, but I think that most of this so-called anti-semitism apparent in the media bias is not anti-semitism at all, but a manifestation of anti-Americanism. Since Israel is allied with the US against our common enemy, Islam, Israel is guilty by association with the Great Satan. It does not help that the Jews are, by and large, caucausion, whereas the muslims are not.

Many people, and disturbingly, most of the Jews in the MSM as well, are guilty of this bias, including such luminaries as:

You'd think with that prestigious role call, the MSN would be putting out non-stop pro-Israeli propaganda and the islam would be finished as a political force. Unfortunately, being Jewish is not enough to be pro-Israel. You'd think it should be, but it isn't.

But are all these people anti-Jewish? I don't think so. Surely Speilberg can not be anti-Semetic, he campaigned for funding to make Schindler's List, a movie about the Holocaust which be believed in passionately. So why, then, did he go and make Munich, a movie that puts Israel on the same moral plane as arab terrorists? I purport he sees Israel as being a right-wing government, and of course, any right wing government will, with enough time, turn into another Nazi Germany. So he feels he is doing his part, as a Jew, to speak out. Is he 100% off his rocker to think like this? Of course, he is. But this line of reasoning, I believe, permeates all the Jewish individuals, (and the non-Jews as well) responsible for providing us with our daily news via the MSM, who should, by virtue of being Jewish, be tilting the news the opposite way if any.

This is why it is so refreshing to hear the views of Horowitz, or Dershowitz, or Schlussel, or Savage, or Miller, or Emerson, and a host of lesser names fighting the good fight. Too bad they are not the MSM.

It is true that the MSM is influenced by people who take the ideological side of our enemy in this matter, but not because they are anti-Semetic, I don't believe it, but because they are sympathetic to left wing causes, and right now, being left wing, means being anti-America/pro-islam.

Jcom, China is certainly the dark horse in all of this. The communist Chinese believe that, as the 20th century was the "American century", the 21st will belong to China and this century will see their coronation.

Like the islamists, the Chinese believe that they are in ascendance while America and the West is in inevitable decline. And they will do anything to hasten that decline - including helping out our enemies, pro bono if necessary. They believe that a paradigm shift of power will take place this century, most likely in the first half, as the West continues to rot from within, both politically and socially, while the totalitarian Chinese economy and its political and military clout goes from strength to strength.

They see a day in the not too distant future, when the lone superpower on earth will be China. They know that to do that they have to unseat the current champ, so the US will have to be dealt with sooner or later. One high ranking Chinese general stated as much, and he preferred sooner. Whatever is bad for the US they figure, is good for China. And in a way, they are right.

Just last year the Chinese tested a missile system to kill satellites. Why? That rhetorical question can be answered only by stating that they are preparing to fight the US, and indeed, even start a war by taking out military satellites in a pre-emptive first strike. There is no other use for a satellite-killing missile system on Chinese soil. That says a lot about what the Chinese see as the future. Rather than be content to build their economy and infrastructure to compete with the First World, they are in fact channeling a lot of that new found wealth into building their armed forces for offensive purposes.

As many have noted, we may be living the 1930s all over again. But while the islamists may be the metaphorical Nazis, the Chinese will be the actual Wehrmacht muscle.

There is a certain Holocaust-centric emphasis (particularly with American Jews)re the establishment and reason for Israeli's existence that plays into the hands of people such as the Psychotic in Iran and other Jew-haters. But the truth is that if Israel were only comprised of those Jewish people who had fled Muslim countries in the Mideast (roughly 850,000 at the founding in 1948), the issues would be the same with her Muslim enemies. It is a great insult (and grave challenge) for Muslims to accept the Jewish state. If Israel is not annihilated then Islam is a lie. That's the issue here.

The existence of Israel challenges the validity of Islam. How can their god permit a debased people, descendants of "apes and pigs", to have a Jewish state in Dar-al-Isalm?. Israel's existence is at the core of Jihad for that reason. They are desperate on this.

As Americans we tend to look at things in a practical way. In this matter, we can rule out a "negotiated settlement".
