Islamic cleric to "wage jihad" if US attacks Waziristan

Maulana Mohammad Yaseem Naumani threatens to wage an interior spiritual struggle against the Americans, saying that the U.S. has "ruined" Iraq in the name of American interests -- an ironic charge in light of all the American efforts to stave off Iraq's ruin. Islamabad: The top religious cleric in the volatile tribal Waziristan region has said there are no foreign militants or training camps in the area. He also threatened to wage a jihad against US and Nato forces if they used any pretext to attack.
Talking to Gulf News yesterday, Maulana Mohammad Yaseem Naumani, chief cleric of the Gul Pakhel Jamia Masjid in Miranshah, the agency's headquarters, said Islam negates terrorism at all levels. But he said it does not mean the opponents of Islam believe in this as well.

"If the occupation US or Nato forces stationed in Afghanistan launch an attack on our territory, the tribesmen here will not retaliate but inside Afghanistan because the Wazir tribe is on both sides of the border.

Intelligence

"The people of Pakistan can very well imagine that the same US intelligence who told the world Iraq had weapons of mass destruction [WMDs] is claiming the existence of foreign militants or training camps in our area. Where are those WMDs now," the cleric said.

"The Iraqi WMDs were used as a pretext to ruin that Muslim country for American interests, the same game is being played here but the tribal people will not allow this," he added.

The prayer leader said the US was targeting Muslims around the world merely on the basis of their religion and using several pretext, including Al Qaida to subjugate them.

"We are regretful - not for the US - but for the Muslims who support their attacks on Muslims," the cleric added.

That makes sense. There are 'no militants or training camps' but in case you go looking for them Maulana will wage jihad.

not a big secret, WMDs were taken to Syria, and others burried. not a big secret that pakistan' border with afganistan is pourous and that training camps and taliban operate on the pak side. so bombs away with taliban on the run.

......sure, he would attact with Muslim terrorists trained in non existant camps in Waziristan......NO FOREIGN MILITANTS...sez he....it is odd that Muslims from most of the Muslim lands go there for training..they come from Yemen, Somalia, Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Iran, Gaza, and even from Saudi Arabia...many of the Muslim terrorists captured in Germany, Italy, Spain, Denmark, Norway, UK and even in the US have confessed to receiving training in Waziristan.....

.......Damn the Muslim terrorists. Bombs away....

The key is in the wording folks. Think like a lawyer or a Mohammedan.

The camps aren’t foreign they are Waziristani camps, foreigners my go to school there and might teach there, but they are Waziristani in ownership. Hence they own the consequences of their actions. They should be held accountable and non-of those PC (PC = Proven Crap) bromides of the Leftards that, they are just poor tribesmen on the edge of civilization.

NO these are the BARBARIANS that want to remove Music, Dance, Art, Architecture, Philosophy, and self-determination.

They want to replace civilization with their ISLAMOFASCIST utopia of Beheadings, Stoning, Clan Warfare, Misogyny, Pedophilia, Banditry, Dhimmitude, and Jizya (Mohammedan Welfare System, some one must pay for them to bang their heads 5 times a day and terrorize the Kafurs).

For an example just look at Iran, Saudi Arabia, or the Gaza nations.

It cracks me up that we are always told what a wonderful place iraq was under saddam...like he was some awesome ruler and it was just hunky dorey under his rule. I guess his dictatorial reign was fine since he was a moslem.

Someone needs to get to the imam and tell him that jihad is a personal thing and doesn't automatically mean armed struggle. As Robert Spencer often says, "What is he, an islamophobe?"
