I'm less concerned that the jihadists are trying to attract doctors and scientists than I am with the fact that these people are answering the call.
Even more than lawyers, doctors and scientists are in professions where trust is paramount. We are inclined to trust health care professionals in a time of need, even when they are complete strangers.
Now what happens if you are injured and the only person who can care for you happens to be a Muslim? Once you would have trusted him implicitly. Now that trust is destroyed forever.
No more preferential treatment for Muslims of any profession who seek a visa. They abuse our trust. They pay the price. They impose collective guilt on us. We return the favor.

I wonder when we will hear the muslim doctors here in the USA start whining they are being victimized (basically people - hopefully - wising up and dropping them as their doctors).

From what I am gathering in all my readings on these doctors - there are muslim doctors here in the USA that are/were planning to kill us too. They just haven't identified them yet, or even cared to look for them. I can't tell which.

"Doctorophobics" just don't understand that jihadists only recruit impoverished, illiterate, desparate Muslims who have nowhere else to turn and nothing to lose, not educated blokes making six-figure salaries and everything to lose. Wanna bet? Thats been tried before and failed. All muslim country's are destitute, except that they are not. They are already rolling in cash. The problem is that it is being mis-spent. It either go's into the pocket's of the powerful, or is spent on jihad.
'Palestine' is a perfect example. A money rathole. How many billions has the west provided 'Palestine' already, and the people are still dirt poor. Well, most of them are, Abbas and other leader's are exceptionally rich. Jihad is a major money making industry, but not for poor people. They are just cannon fodder that keep's the payrole for the rich rolling in.

We apparently support approximately 70% of every country on the planet through our foreign policy and related spending!
So, if that's not going to dry up the swampland of extremism what can we actively do?
Are we now to invade every country, set up democracies, and even run some to ensure our money is spent correctly?
Will the Left go for that to ENSURE we dry up this overabundance?
I think not, and they will NEVER go for us just not wasting our time or money.

Islam, as the Hindus say, is a devilish disease that is creeping into the world's veins. Certainly Islam has found a happy home in the United States and is taking full advantage of the rather high level of naivete of the American people (particularly those on the left of the political spectrum). Islam continues to infiltrate and subvert US institutions and poison our society and threaten our homeland's security while millions of Americans remain in denial or are just oblivious to the danger posed by Islam.
Islam has declared war on the American people and our nation, and has done so at every level possible. Islam is now all around us, actively subverting whole professions, our universities, our legal system, our prison system; America now has jihadist doctors in some medical centers who will brazenly kill non-Islamic patients, and so on. We even have a Muslim-in-denial running for president of our country (God help us if he wins too).
We may even be living next door to terrorists.
How DO we know when we are being subverted with all THIS happening? Who do we know to trust?
The answer I think is that we all must remain suspicious of ALL Muslims and all of their activities and to watch very carefully persons who hold strongly anti-American, anti-Christian, anti-democratic, anti-western, anti-Judaic and/or anti-Israel views or professional persons who defend Islam for no particularly good reason. Parents need to be especially vigilant as to who is teaching their children and what is being passed off as curriculum for them, as Islam has targeted US schools as weapons of infiltration in US society.
Also be very suspicious of many persons on the left, socialist supporters, and 'fringe' elements of our society. These are the layers of our society where Islam is most likely to have penetrated. Sit down and think-- who do you know that espouses hard leftwing views and who are they associating with? If you can think of anyone fitting such a description watch them carefully if you can without becoming suspicious yourself or at least make a note of them. (I have had to do this on a few occasions).
It all sounds very general, I know. But if one carefully examines one's own life and the people one comes into contact with every day, it is possible to come up with results.
Stay alert everyone. Knowing what to watch out for will help. Identifying a problem is the first step in resolving a problem and our present problem (to understate the obvious)is jihad.
Miss_Anthrope...Money has a habit of disappearing, I know mine doe's. So I dont think it's a matter of invading anyone over it, just quit sending them more. The foreign policy and related spending is called 'foreign aid', a concept not included in the US constitution. Whenever Bush/Rice give the 'Palestinians', OUR MONEY, for example, they are doing it outside the Constitution. If I am wrong about that, I hope some Constitutional scholar can enlighten me to just where in the Constitution 'foreign aid' is called for.
I would like to see all 'foreign aid' stopped, especially to those we know are our enemies. There is no lid on it, it run's wide open.

Law schools should have faculty members look carefully into the ideology of Islam before they hire Muslims, either to teach a course called "Islamic law" (which sounds promising to some who would never hire anyone to teach "law according to Christ" and who fail to realize that "Islamic law" or the Shari'a, belongs in a school of theology, and not an American law school) or simply to teach subjects that, if the Muslim in question is sincere in his belief, he cannot possibly teach -- for what is man-made Infidel law to him, but some kind of temporary joke, some accommodation with the Infidels that will, in time, no longer be necessary. And how can someone who believes in Islam, the principles of which flatly contradict the spirit and letter of the most important parts of the Constitution, conceivably undertake to teach Constitutional law, the heart of any law school edcuation that is more than mere vocational training?
As for the coherence of a law firm, hiring Muslims merely invites, somewhere along the line, all kinds of problems, including the unsettlement that such a presence, whether or not the person in question is capable of hiding the views that Islam inculcates, will mean for the firm's Infidels.
The days when one could ignore, or did not know, what Islam is all about, or where one thought that a Muslim partner would somehow be a rainmaker for Arab business (no need to do this at all all -- the Arabs go to the firms that will get their work done, maximize the benefits to them), are over.
Don't do anything to make organized, or for that matter disorganized Islam, stronger. Don't help into academic life (where Islamic control of Islam-related subjects is almost total), into the professions, anywhere. From now on, be on the qui vive.

You are superficially correct but I stand by my posting. Paranoia is what is known as a psychological aberration and paranoia is abnormal behavior to US. Thus an explanation may be needed for those who think my suggestions were 'paranoid'.
For centuries we in the western democracies have lived in a world where we weren't usually being targeted for death and destruction and where things were ususally more or less what they seemed. Then along came the onslaught of global jihad....
What the western world is dealing with nowadays (jihad)one way or another is an aberration by its own standards (but, aberrant or not, we still are threatened by it and must find a way to defeat it).
As has been noted at JW and elsewhere, what we in the western democracies see as aberrant behavior is not necessarily seen as aberrant behavior everywhere on the globe (far from it). Alien mindsets whereby western conceptions of aberrations are irrelevant have arrived in the western democracies by dint of mass immigration and handling these foreign influences may require tactics which to date may have seemed themselves strange, paranoid, (or worse).
But a failure to recognize evil is self-destructive when that evil is aimed at oneself by another. And that is where America and the western democracies are right now--isn't jihad really evil being targeted directly at US? Why worry about how handling this appears cosmetically?
Confronting a paranoid mindset is not paranoid, however-- although it may appear superficially so to the uninitiated. However I think that when we remain true to the necessity of defeating jihad and deal with it using everything we've got in our arsenal, appearances (however unorthodox or seemingly aberrant or 'paranoid') become largely irrelevant.
