"Liberty Has Ruthless Enemies"

The good folks at Heavy Stix have, for quite some time, been on their own initiative designing and selling Jihad Watch shirts and bumper stickers, and kindly donating some of the proceeds to our efforts here.

Their "Liberty Has Ruthless Enemies" shirt grows more apt with every day's headlines, as we see the ongoing attempts by Islamic advocacy groups and their allies to intimidate into silence all those who speak frankly about and ask Muslims to do something about the elements of Islam that give rise to violence.

Hearty thanks to all at Heavy Stix.

Well, our newspaper has tried to smooth over islam. They have an article written http://www.contracostatimes.com/ci_6493724?source=most_viewed&nclick_check=1#recent_comm

So, I left a comment - and would hope that all of you read the article and leave a comment. Please make sure to let the writer, and newspaper people, know that we know that we are not ignorant of islam. You don't have to leave your real name - you can use an alias.

I don't usually go for slogan tee shirts--because they tend to orientate around groupist thinking,

but THIS shirt--

POWERFUL STATEMENT

and just the Liberty has Ruthless Enemies with the crescent/star--

says it--nails it and

we need more shirts--

how about,

Freedom

to wear lipstick or not,

to wear a tank top and feel the sun or not,

to choose the music you listen to,

to stick your head out of the window as you sit in a car and feel your long hair fly with the wind or not,

to feel your bare feet on dew kissed grass or not,

etc etc etc [you could come up with female and male shirts]

then

the

there are those who want to die to take all these choices from you Permanently.

We should make these shirts in the millions--

or how about,

"there is no fashion choices when all you have it black sheets"

lol

seriously though--the possibilities are endless and the most basic of freedoms that most don't even think of--

are the ones that people need to see at risk.

Just an image of moral police with batons beating a teen girl clocked in black sheets for
eating a ice cream cone at a bistro-

because its 'provocative'

[which this happens in Iran--and has been quoted in a book by a woman who left Iran]

think we should have an ice-cream flavor called

Decadence now that I come to think of it.

But anyway thats what is needed--a brutal cold water in the face to the West imagery--WAKE UP CALL,

about what is really at danger of being lost. Some freedoms can be too easily pulled into long diatribes and debates and would be lost

on many if you know what I'm saying
but

these innocent freedoms that so many take for granted and are not aware of how Islam polices those--

those are the ones that people Really need to see, and see alot of. Even tee shirts with the statements made by the Mullahs on 'if the girls of ten don't wear the full armor then we BEAT THEM" or if your five year old won't sit still and pray BEAT THEM"

and if after that--they still want to accomodate that type of twisted sick totalitarianism, then maybe the government needs to do something about health care including mental care and send these people to the shrink and fast.

because if people can't see the sickness in that type of brutal dictatorships, they need mental help.

WELL SAID!

Gotta get me one of those. :)

Wow. Now this T-shirt slogan is better than any witty slogan that some people proposed months ago.

If the t-shirts sell well, the makers could extend their business into other areas.

Islam
means
Submission.

Don't wear the T-Shirt in Victoria Australia, you might be arrested for religious vilification.

that is a sad posting by savitch...some ideologies need to be villified.

My idea for a t-shirt (feel free to use it if you'd like):

the words COURTESY OF THE KORAN

surrounded by photos of (or the words) hands chopped off, jihad, jiyza tax on Jews and Christians, slavery, harems, burkas, death to the infidels with the corresponding references from the koran.

Hey, I like that tshirt...
Luckily, here in the US, we can wear that easily, at least in the 81% of the US that's NOT politically correct.
It reminds me of my computer wallpaper, US Navy carrier battle group at sea:
"Life, Liberty, and Pursuit of all who threaten it"
