Two women who have been the subject of police scrutiny because of their activities at area airports had materials in their home that could be fashioned into explosive devices, officials say.A pipe that had been fashioned into an illegal firearm was among the items fire officials seized from the Arlington home shared by Kimberly "Asma" Al-Homsi and Aisha Hamad, authorities said. Other items included black powder, shotgun shells, pipes and putty.
Ms. Al-Homsi "was putting different items together to make what appears to be illegal explosive devices," Arlington Assistant Fire Marshal Stephen Lea said. "They've got the components, but whether they'd function we don't know at this point."
Ms. Al-Homsi was arrested Monday on suspicion of possessing a prohibited weapon after police were involved in a standoff with Ms. Hamad at the house. But Ms. Al-Homsi, who has posted $3,000 bail, said the accusations are unfounded.
"They took my backpack and my bicycle bag ... and blew it up," she said. "There were no explosive materials inside of those bags or anywhere inside the house."
She said she's sick of being mistreated by law enforcement officials.
"I'm not a bad person, but they're trying to make me look like this vicious, evil person who wants to do harm," she said.

Police spokeswoman Christy Gilfour said officers searched the house on Wembley Road to make sure no one else was inside and notified the fire department after finding something suspicious.
"There was a pipe fashioned into an illegal firearm," Mr. Lea said. "People will take a pipe and make it where a bullet can fit in one end and a firing pin will cause the bullet to go off."
Mr. Lea said Tuesday that it was still unclear whether the items could actually function as explosive devices, but "just because they don't function doesn't mean they're not illegal devices."
Ms. Al-Homsi said the allegations are ridiculous.
"What prohibited weapon? There was nothing taken from this house that was a prohibited weapon," Ms. Al-Homsi said.
No weapons are prohibited in Islam for Jihad, No weapon is illegal for jihad, only muslims are innocent and safe from jihad.
She said she's sick of being mistreated by law enforcement officials.

Well, we hear this from many criminals - how innocent they proclaim themselves to be. What my concern is the trial and their defense. I would like to be present in the trial and see what kind of a defense there is. I just hope our police have enough evidence to put them away.
I personally don't think that our civil courts should handle these types of crimes because we are in a war. But since our President, and Congress, have decided not to tell us who the enemy is and declare this a war on a tactic - our civil courts will continue to get these cases.

Well its about time. The human heart can only take so much injustice, packaged as tolerant, politically correct, gobbledygook, before it will react violently and take matters into it's own hands. Like child molesters who are treated very badly in prison, their does seem to be a sort of code of honor among thieves and certain crimes that are truly abhorrent are not allowed to go unpunished by fellow inmates in prison. The spreading of Islam as a means to take over western countries and establish Sharia law, which is the ultimate freedom marring system, should be dealt with swiftly and as viciously as that system would deal with the rest of us.
If Ms.Al-Homsi wants to be taken for "not a bad person" she needs to behave accordingly. Otherwise, she needs to be treated like any other criminal who harbors illegal weapons, spies on Airports in her Muslim garb, and has standoffs with the police when they come to question her. If you or I pulled this crap we would be sitting on some pretty cold ice right about now.
Stay tuned though for CAIR to come to her rescue and reiterate the whining about how she is a) not a bad person and b) tired of being mistreated by law enforcement officials. The sure way into Paradise:

side note: since killing or being killed is the only sure way of getting to Muslim paradise the people are not sure if Mohammed is in paradise himself. This is why they reflexively say “peace be upon him” every time the mention him. They don’t know where he ended up.

comments: Why didn’t Allah say what we needed to know the first time? Why substitute one thing for another at all? The all-knowing god contradicts himself – how is that possible?
