No common denominators here. Just some "simple-minded" criminals.

Well, so it was all a hoax. And we fell for it. What a gag! I'm still laughing. Who ever said the moslems have no sense of humor? These guys are a laugh riot. I suppose that the 7-7 bombings were also intended as a hoax, but something went wrong and the bombs actually went off. Oops! Gee, sorry, folks, that wasn't supposed to happen. Our mistake.
The defense attorney for one of them said he's simple-minded. Of course he is; he's moslem, isn't he?

From Al Reuters:

Responding to an online request for a religious edict, or fatwa, Sheikh Saleh al-Fozan said last month: "Calling oneself a liberal Muslim is a contradiction in terms ... one should repent before God for such ideas in order to be a real Muslim.

'He who wants freedom with only the controls of man-made law has rebelled against the law of God,"

Muktar Said Ibrahim - Born in Eritrea, he came to Britain in the 1990s when he was a teenager to escape the war with Ethiopia.

Sooo, he missed the warfare...and started one in his new country. He became a practising Muslim in 2003 You can't be a good moslem without jihad.

I was sure that the doctors would be found to be Mormons. Everytime one of those nice young men come to my door, and I tell them that their religion is made up, I worry they might behead me. Strangely, they just say "Have a nice day" and move on. Perhaps they will come back the next time with an explosive pack and blow up my infidel family!

PS. {No offense to Mormons in this parody ... your religion is screwy but you don't kill people. Isn't it a contract with Islam that we can lambaste Mormons and none of them will kill you. Heck, they rarely even get that angry.}

Sura of Muktar Said Ibrahim

(4) Narrated Abu Schmuckari: that he heard the Prophet saying, "From among my followers there is one, named Muktar Said Ibrahim who will consider the use of musical instruments, as lawful. Allah will transform him during the night (from his perch on the moon) into a monkey and pig combination and he will remain so till the Day of Resurrection." (Book #69, Schmuckari #494v)

The greatest allies that Muslims have are the PC, Tree Hugging, Leftwing, Guardian reading Moonbats these people have long been in power in UK and almost exclusively supply all of Politics, Acedemia, the Judiciary the BBC and the rest of the MSM and have heavily infiltrated the Police. In the USA now I see the same moonbats taking power Nancy Pelosi et al and you already have them in the MSM. The next presidential election is crucial for the USA the result will decide if the USA survives or falls victim to the same 'moonbat disease' which grips most of Europe. The Sarkosy promises in France soon fizzled out didn't they and look at Spain. Thank God for those Politically Incorrect Poles.

Not a Buddhist among them? Well, but the terrorists are all no more than 5 degrees of separation from evangelical Christians. Anyway, thirty years ago, I met someone who met someone else who said he had met someone once who said he had heard an evangelical Christian threaten to do terror. So religions are all alike.

The only difference is, I don't see any evangelical christians walking around with explosives strapped to their bodies nor can I remember the last time that an evangelical hijacked a plane and crashed it into a tower.

So, you met somebody who heard somebody who heard an evangelical christian 30 years ago. Pretty compelling evidence there, especially when you consider that within those 30 years not one single terrorist attack has been committed by an evangelical (or a jew or a buddist, for that matter).

I think that you are oversimplifying the argument by comparing islamofaschists to evangelical christians. Kind of like comparing peaches to brilcreme.

traeh,

You need your head examined. Or are you joking?

"I think that you are oversimplifying the argument by comparing islamofaschists to evangelical christians. Kind of like comparing peaches to brilcreme."

I'm pretty certain that traeh was going for irony in his post.

Do you not understand sarcasm? Heh heh heh traeh.

traeh, nice job! i love the 6 degrees of kevin bacon style of humor...

it's official, folks! traeh is DA MAN.

bonncaruso, traeh was skewering the kind of contortionist efforts that some make re: moral equivalence between Christianity and Islam.

The most popular form of such approach is pointing to Timothy McVeigh who was both a Christian AND a terrorist. AH HA! SEE! There's no difference!

Nevermind that McVeigh only born into a Christian home and was not a practicing believer himself.

Nevermind that his terrorism was in explicit retribution for what the government did at Waco, and was in no way connected by him to Christianity.

Nevermind that there was and still is no associated movement of Christians moved to kill in Jesus' or God's name.

The moral equivalence crowd is so eager to *prove* that Christianity 'is no better' than Islam, that they seize on any example of a Christian who has killed and then proclaim Christianity just as terroristic as Islam. It doesn't even matter to them whether McVeigh was Christian or not. He was born into a Christian home and that's enough for them. It's total garbage.

"Oddly enough, there is not a Buddhist among them."

There were probably some Amish involved though....

Well I see a solution here, simpleminded muslim need not do jihd so the imams just have to explain that then the government can put them all on crazy money.
They can all die of old age and still escape Jahannum

"Religions are all alike" - traeh.

Ha-ha! Can I laugh, or what?

Yep, those mass-murdering Christians, Jews, and Buddhists in the 21st century - all alike!!!!

Nope - sorry, traeh, only the MUSLIMS. FACT.

I'm worried about you guys who took traeh seriously. You need your humour-cells examined, LOL...

You forgot the KKK and the anti-abortionists! Many people bring these 2 groups up also in the moral equivalance arguemnt! And who can forget the IRA?
I think that's all of them now.

Gramfam-

You forgot the Crusades and Conquistadors.

And maybe Enrico Caruso...

although we're still working on that one.

profitsbeard
thanks,lol!
Now is that the complete list? hHave we missed anyone else? How 'bout the Inquisition?

Gramfam-

You forgot the Crusades . . .

Remember the Crusaders were fighting the, {AH let me think AH}.
RIGHT the muslim!

"And who can forget the IRA?"

LOL Gramfan--
For half a second there, I read IRS, rather than IRA. Time for new glasses?

Hey Gramfam, you're right of course about there being other examples used to make the moral equivalence argument (don't forget the atom bomb on Japan example).

"Nevermind that there was and still is no associated movement of Christians moved to kill in Jesus' or God's name." -- me.

I should have chosen my words more carefully. I was talking about groups associated with McVeigh's war against the government.

I don't think we can just dismiss some of those other moral equivalence arguments out of hand. The KKK, for example, definitely did use Christianity to buttress their agenda. And you can't get much more explicit about it then holding hands around a 30 foot burning cross. And it was a movement with large numbers of followers.

Even with the Klan though, there are more compelling distinctions which argue against moral equivalence. Unfortunately I don't have time to go into all that tonight.

But I do think the McVeigh example is a bad joke.

I dont know when people will get it through their thick heads that bad things sometimes 'are' done by Christians . But this is in SPITE of Christianity, not BECAUSE of it. When muslims do bad things it is BECAUSE of the Quran, not in SPITE of it.
There now, that was not so hard...was it?

"I dont know when people will get it through their thick heads that bad things sometimes 'are' done by Christians . But this is in SPITE of Christianity, not BECAUSE of it." -- duh_swami

Yup. Of course many Muslims say the same thing about Muslims and Islam, but the evidence doesn't back them up.
