Saudi jihadists now make up half the foreign fighters in Iraq

Saudi double game update. "Saudis' role in Iraq insurgency outlined," by Ned Parker for the Los Angeles Times (thanks to Hot Air):

BAGHDAD — Although Bush administration officials have frequently lashed out at Syria and Iran, accusing it of helping insurgents and militias here, the largest number of foreign fighters and suicide bombers in Iraq come from a third neighbor, Saudi Arabia, according to a senior U.S. military officer and Iraqi lawmakers.

About 45% of all foreign militants targeting U.S. troops and Iraqi civilians and security forces are from Saudi Arabia; 15% are from Syria and Lebanon; and 10% are from North Africa, according to official U.S. military figures made available to The Times by the senior officer. Nearly half of the 135 foreigners in U.S. detention facilities in Iraq are Saudis, he said.

Fighters from Saudi Arabia are thought to have carried out more suicide bombings than those of any other nationality, said the senior U.S. officer, who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the subject's sensitivity. It is apparently the first time a U.S. official has given such a breakdown on the role played by Saudi nationals in Iraq's Sunni Arab insurgency.

He said 50% of all Saudi fighters in Iraq come here as suicide bombers. In the last six months, such bombings have killed or injured 4,000 Iraqis....

Askari also alleged that imams at Saudi mosques call for jihad, or holy war, against Iraq's Shiites and that the government had funded groups causing unrest in Iraq's largely Shiite south. Sunni extremists regard Shiites as unbelievers.

The house of Wahhabi battles the house of Khomeini and we are foolish enough to try to ensure a peace between groups that have battled since the 8th century..... huh.

Hey, I know, let's bring a whole bunch of saudis to the US and let them study here so they'll like us more! (channeling the President).

/sarc off

Who exactly is making our foreign policy? And I voted twice for him!

This is hardly new and dramatic news - Saudis have been very active in the insurgency all along - though i suppose the numbers are finally in.
We never hear Bush denounce Saudi Arabia because he knows how powerful it is economically. Time to change all that with our troops and take the oil.

Among some of the other stupid things Bush has said:

You are either with us or against us....

From this leaked report, we can surmise that "a senior U.S. military officer" is getting pissed off about the Administration's coverup of the Saudi's lead role in the jihad.

We can further surmise the Administration's response to the shocking news flash that Saudi petrodollars and Saudi funding of Wahaabism are fueling the jihad against U.S. soldiers in Iraq (and against the West in general): firstly, they will send Cheney or Rice to Saudi Arabia to apologize for the release of the embarrassing information, and to grovel and to placate them by whatever means necessary. Secondly, they will put all investigative resources into discovering the identity of the "senior U.S. military officer", so that the career of another true U.S. patriot can come to a quick and ignominious end.

"About 45% of all foreign militants targeting U.S. troops and Iraqi civilians and security forces are from Saudi Arabia"

75% of the 9/11 hijackers were from Saudi Arabia. When questioned about this, didn't the Saudis and the Bush administration blow it off by suggesting that Osama deliberately used Saudis in order to drive a wedge between the two countries?

Neither side will ever admit the truth. It doesn't matter though, since most Americans already know. Is there anyone in the State Department who is not totally enamored of the Saudis?

Why we waste time with the Saudis is beyond me....

We will not be able to retaliate against the Saudis until we gain energy independence. People, stop buying land barges with 300 HP motors. Try a smaller 4 cylinder model that gets more than twice the mileage. This would be a huge help in lowering our need of foreign oil imports. Thank you, HH

Handy Hebrewman

There should be no doubt about the need to wean ourselves off the teat of middle east oil. But I do not think we HAVE to refrain from calling out Saudi Arabia for fear they will cut us off.

Consider this article, as an argument that our dependence on middle east oil can be adjusted easier than you may think.

http://frontpagemag.com/Articles/ReadArticle.asp?ID=28907

and the article, as I recall, does not even mention the strategic petroleum reserve for short term relief.

That is the crux of the matter. The government is in bed with with the saudis. It crosses party platforms and infuses the congressional voting blocs. As we all know, congress is egregiously filled with the willing. No matter how loud we wail and gnash our teeth, we feel that we are unheard and worst of all, ignored. Actually, we are not unheard. but we are definitely ignored. That is the sin. Some in congress heeded our cries of foul in regard to the immigration
legislation fraud that they attempted to ram down our throats. Some, do get it. The others, no hope short of violent insurrection or...voting the foul beasts out. This is not an easy road to plow. It will take commitment. A grass root effort is needed. Do we have the courage and steadfastness to implement such action. Mull it over amongst your selfs. The forum is here. Go for it.

This is no surprise at all...same for the fact that 90% of all the terrorists desperately trying to stop troops success in iraq aren't even iraqis.
Duh

But the saudis are our friends. Wink wink. We do need to find an alternative fuel source to get the monkeys off our back. With the likes of g.w. chuckles the clown, kissing, holding hands and fawning over saudi royalty, I'm almost hoping hillery gets the votes. That way the men (and I use this term, men, loosely) will not be able to hold hands with her. Emphasis on almost.

With every drop of gasoline we put in our tanks we drive another nail into our own coffins.

With friends like the Saudis, who needs enemies?

The Saudis and other Arabs like the Emirates shrewdly hire ex-Presidents and ex-State Dept. higher-ups, and the current ones can't wait to get their hands on Saudi loot by working as infidel advisors to them when Bush is out of office.

With Mammon on their side, the Saudis won't get bad publicity from our gov't. Too many who set policy are looking forward to funding a generous retirement from Saudi $$$.

It's very frustrating to see how our country won't exploit its own resources, seemingly preferring a Saudi chokehold (and $3.50/gallon gas) to opening our own reserves, building more refineries, and doing what it takes to stop the jihadis from extorting money from us to buy the bombs and bullets they use against our own soldiers and Marines. Shame!

Time to change all that with our troops and take the oil.

That is what I have said in a number of posts in the past. Rome, or any other world power of the past, would laugh at the way we fool ourselves and worry about what others think of us. This country has no leadership. Heck, do you think the enemy (Islam) would ask us nice if they were in charge?

It is real simple IMO. The nations of the world are like 10 year old kids on a playground. With the personalities of a bunch of brats. One or a small group is usually in charge but the dynamics is always changing.

We are strong enough to be in charge but our leaders are deluded and do not lead. Or they have another agenda. Haven't figured that out.

Funny, isn't it? We all KNOW about the SOWdis and yet our guvmint doesn't so diddley about them.

I'd rather see a bin Laden type in charge over there. At least then there'd be no more excuses and pussyfooting around vis-avis the mahometan Beast which resides in the Middle East.

Nice post Brezzy55,

Can it be too much to hope that the U.S.,by the end of the 21st century, doesn't resemble the French revolution meets Blade Runner. An attack of catastrophic proportions could spell the last straw for certain individuals and parties, who would have outlived whatever personal thirsts for easy money and usefullness, they ever possessed. Don't let the naysayers fool you,no one is apove reproach or consequently, reach.

Hey Jewdog, we never hear Bush denounce Saudi Arabia because he and his family are in bed with Saudi Sheikhs and princes.

They are rolling around under the sheets. All one need do is read just a little about this sordid affair between the Bush family and the Saudi royals; James Baker, Brent Scowcroft, Jimmy Carter, Frank Carlucci, Codoleezza Rice, Botts (of Baker - Botts law firm), etc.

No wonder Mr. Bush is so corrupt and compromised.

Because of this president, heaven help America.

Regards,
Steve

Oh yes, on page 102 of Jimmy Carter's "Palestine, Peace Not Apartheid," after giving adulation after adulation to the leaders of Saudi Arabia as a crucial and a beneficial force in the Middle East, Carter writes the following:

"At least among American political leaders, there has been a willingness to overlook in Saudi Arabia serious human rights violations that we would condemn in other nations."

You think?

Well now we can clearly see what Iraq is in for when we pull the plug. Saudis move in, Iran moves in, Turkey moves in and there will be no more Iraq. The Kurds may hold their own, but the rest will be absorbed. But not before obscene amounts of blood are spilled.

And everybody will blame the U.S. for it.

Hey Monk,

Let's not forget to include Bubba on your list of those "in bed with Saudi Sheikhs and princes."

For Clinton, New Wealth In Speeches

"... Foreign clients have included Saudi Arabia's Dabbagh investment firm, which paid $600,000 for two speeches,..."

The Saudi money is finding way too many open pockets in our current and recent leadership to make me hopeful that somebody might make a stink about a little matter like their foreign fighters killing our troops.

Maybe even worse ... do you think any of our leadership is even checking to see if the poisonous Wahhabi brand of Islam is being exported by the Saudis into U.S. mosques? Would this administration ever call the Saudis on something like that? Not likely when you see pictures like this ....

I don't think the U.S. of A has learned their lesson. In the 1980's they armed the Taliban to fight against the Soviets. Big mistake there. Why do they still support the Saudis? It must be the oil...

The following is an excerpt from a speech given to the Saudis by the U.S. ambassador, on 4 July:

For our part, we Americans are

• . . . working hard to expand our visa operations so that Saudi students can complete their applications in a timely manner and get their visas quickly.

• . . . assigning more consular officers, giving them new technology and training, and

• . . . now issuing over 1,000 student visas per month in Riyadh – over 9,000 total since June of last year

For those of you with children, or relatives, or friends, considering study in the U.S., I encourage you to come visit us – we have educational advisers as well as visa officers - or look at the Department of State’s web site -- www.travel.state.gov -- for the latest information on studying in and traveling to the United States.

Shared personal experiences can do so much to help us to deal with the inevitable misunderstandings that will arise from time to time. It is not necessary for us to find complete agreement on all things, but to establish a continuing, solid relationship of trust and cooperation.

Maybe the U.S supports Saudi Arabia because they WANT terrorists to go into Iraq so they can prolong the war. I mean look at it this way if they can employ the El Salvador option in Iraq, I bet they're willing to continue the "war on terror".

Hmmmm

Guess we can't attack Iran then unless we also decide to attack Saudi Arabia. After all, they are working hard to kill our kids in Iraq.

Personally, I think the whole toilet ME needs to be gone.

Why do they still support the Saudis? It must be the oil...

For the same reason we are in Iraq. You can bet your sweet ass we wouldn't be bothering to bring 'peace and democracy' to those barbarians if it were not for the OIL.

As Menachem Begin said, Saudi Arabia is not a country, it's a family (and a horrible family at that). This story about the percentage of terrorists in Iraq who are Saudi functions as just one more reason why America must move to almost complete energy independence. We need to explore in ANWAR. (And please spare me the environmental concerns. Anwar is the size of West Virginia and less than 1% or it would have to be drilled, and then with the most sophisticated drilling equipment the world has ever seen.) We need to build more refineries (none built here for thirty years). We need to go nuclear. We need to explore for oil off our coasts, in Colorado and wherever there might be large amounts. We need to be innovative and diligent in the search for new sources of energy (through the private sector; government will just screw things up here). And, oh yes, as an aside, we need to ban further Muslim immigration so the damn dysfunctional, murderous bastards don't bring their lethal stupidities over here.

When ignorance is bliss, tis folly to be wise. Our leaders would rather pretend that Islam is nothing but a misunderstood faith because to do otherwise would require facing up to the danger it represents to Western societies.

“Islam says: Whatever good there is exists thanks to the sword and in the shadow of the sword! People cannot be made obedient except with the sword! The sword is the key to paradise, which can be opened only for holy warriors!

There are hundreds of other [Koranic] psalms and hadiths urging Muslims to value war and to fight. Does all that mean that Islam is a religion that prevents men from waging war? I spit upon those foolish souls who make such a claim.”

“Islam grew with blood . . . . The great prophet of Islam in one hand carried the Koran and in the other a sword . . . . Islam is a religion of blood for the infidels but a religion of guidance for other people.”

---Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini.

“Islam is a revolutionary faith that comes to destroy any government made by man. Islam doesn’t look for a nation to be in a better condition than another nation. Islam doesn’t care about the land or who owns the land. The goal of Islam is to rule the entire world and submit all of mankind to the faith of Islam. Any nation or power that gets in the way of that goal, Islam will fight and destroy. In order to fulfill that goal, Islam can use every power available every way it can be used to bring worldwide revolution. This is Jihad.”

---Sayeed Abdul A'la Maududi, ‘Jihad in Islam’

“Soon we will take power in this country. Those who criticize us now, will regret it. They will have to serve us. Prepare, for the hour is near.”

--- Belgium-based imam in 1994. “De Morgen”, Oct. 5, 1994. Cited in Koenraad Elst, "The Rushdie Rules", Middle East Quarterly, June 1998.

“The Quran should be America's highest authority”. “Islam is not in America to be equal to any other religion but to be dominant.”

Good news. Chootiya Dhiren Barot converted from Hinduism to Islam. Got what he deserved, and less.

jewdog - " We never hear Bush denounce Saudi Arabia because he knows how powerful it is economically. Time to change all that with our troops and take the oil.

Bush could never do that. His brother Bandor Bush would not be pleased.

He would be no likely to betray his brother Bandor than he would be to betray his brother Viciente.

The Waahabist sect that dominates in Saudia Arabia and reigns supreme over the Islamic Holy City of Mecca always surfaces as the primary culprit when it comes to the influences of terrorism. We saw them in support of the Taliban, they made up the majority of the 9-11 hijackers, Saudi money corrupts American Universities, Saudi Money finds its way into the establishment of radical madrasses in America. The Waahabist sect which is almost as extreme as the Taliban nearly reflects that extreme strain that has its origins around the 1790s' in Saudia Arabia.

Stephen Schwartz (now a convert to Sufism) tends to pin most of our problems with terrorism on the Waahabist sect for the most part in his book "The two faces of Islam". Just how far in bed with Waahabism is the Saudi Family? More than President Bush realizes by far, the hypocrisy demonstrated by the Saudi Family is almost immesurable when it comes to their so called battle with Islamic Terrorism. After all, this is country that knowingly allows for the public beheading of around 150 people a year for crimes that hardly get recognized in the Western world, this is a Country that will put you in prison if you show up with a bible in your luggage or a cross around your neck.

Saudi Arabia is the engine and money man of the Islamic terrorist and fundamentalist movement. Its Imans can be found all over the world preaching hate and violence, from Bosnia to the United States.

Their funds power the mosques and madrassas(brain washing camps that would make Mao envyious) both in the west and east.

Excise them and most of the problems go away. Ignore them(as we are doing now) and the cancer only gets worse.

More student visas for Saudis is the answer!

Right Mr. President?

So they can learn about "democracy".

(And nuclear physics, chemical engineering, jet piloting, fuel truck driving, toxobiology, genetic manipulation of bacteria, and other vital skills needed by future members of the Ummah.)

With "allies" like this, we don't have to worry about cutting our own throats.

They'll gladly do it for us.

This is the way we should have been fighting this war all along - no boots on the ground.

Make the border between Afghanistan and Pakistan into a large smoking hole.

Not only are most foreign terrorists in Iraq of Saudi origin but they also have huge approval amongst many of the Iraqis themselves. Don't think for a second that such an effective insurgency in Iraq could happen without the approval of a large % of the population.

Dubya et al , still think that the Iraqis love us.

Now that's a "DUH" moment

From JewDog:Time to change all that with our troops and take the ( Saudi ) oil.

Well it would at least have made more sense than this Iraqi Misadventure FFS. And let's leave project "let's give 'em demAAAAAAAcracy" out of it too please.

War nerd covered it wonderfully a while back.

http://www.exile.ru/2002-September-06/war_nerd.html

"Just compare the sorry performance of the USAF with the Soviet Air Force that was supposed to be so inefficient. The inefficient Russians didn't have much problem taking out that Korean Air jet over Kamchatka in 1983. Two AA missiles from a pair of Su-15s and -- no more 747. Maybe it wasn't the brightest thing to do, but that was a political decision. The Soviet Air Force did the job pronto. But the USAF -- the biggest, most expensive air force in history -- couldn't find one armed fighter jet for "several hours" after the WTC towers got blasted."

Let's face it, the guy's a genuis.

The solution the whole Mid East mess came to me the other day. The Palestinians want that little strip of land called Israel. So there is never ending terrorism over there. The Israelis are stuck in a small country forever in rocket range of Hamas and Hezbollah. The Saudis are funding everything, most notably Al Qaeda and the madrasses that create tomorrow's terrorists.

So, really, the solution to the whole mess is simple. Israel moves to Saudi Arabia. Invade Saudi Arabia. Kick the Saudis out. Send the millions of workers back to their home countries, and the millions of Saudi nationals can move to Iraq. Or the north pole. With that nation emptied, Israel moves to Saudi Arabia. Almost a millon square miles for Jews only.

The Palestinians can have their little strip by the sea. That shuts up the Palestinians, shuts up the UN, the Israelis get a huge country where they can have some security, the Jews get all the oil, and its wealth, America gets a stable oil supply, we pay less at the pump, and your gas dollars don't go to Saudi monarchs to trickle down to mosques all over the world to support and encourage jihad. And the arabs that support the Palestinian cause would now be at the throats of the Saudi arabs. Their interests would now diverge.

As for the displaced Saudis? Let the rest of the arab world take them in. Then they will see who their friends are. Sure, this plan would then create Saudi terrorists, instead of Palestinian ones. But who cares at that point. The oil money is in the hands of Israel, Israel has security, we have a stable oil supply, the Palestinians get their "homeland", and no more oil money flows to the global jihad.

As for the Wailing wall? Disassemble it and move it to the New Israel. And Mecca and the black stone? Let the Jews do with it as they please.

Rather than invade Iraq or even Iran, the US needs to move the Palestinians into Israel and Israel into Saudi Arabia.

The whole Middle East/terrorism problem is solved.

Would the Jews give up Israel in exchange for Saudi Arabia and its wealth? I think most wouldn't hesitate.

I know where S.A., and the followers of Islam stand.

Perhaps the trick is to find out how many in the U.S. Government is allied with the American people.

Tap our own oil, all of it, reduce the purchase of M.E. oil in kind. Do that, then move into and research new tech, and harness new forms of power.

Leave civil nuclear power in the history books, it makes a good weppon, thats about all.

Remember, Bush wants more Nuclear power, what do you think about that? What bells just went off?

Waahabism is essential for the Royals to maintain control. It perpetuates the belief that Shia are non-believers and subject to the same treatment as Infidels. Since the gravest threat to their power is not the West, but from the Shia brand of theocracy, they are left with no choice but to promote and export its extremism. By allowing the Iraq government and military to be predominately Shia, it is only natural that we would be seen as an enemy to Saudi Arabia - hence the number of nationals in Iraq. Why doesn't the U.S. stop Saudi Arabia? Ask yourself why the U.S. didn't attack the Soviet Union for supporting North Viet Nam?

Also, never forget the Military-Industrial Complex and its role in all of this. Saudi Arabia is the largest buyer of U.S. weapons and weapon systems. They are getting larger and more complex all the time, up to and including satellite guided missile systems. Since the Saudis want the systems, but not the personnel to operate and maintain them, it is essential for the Saudis to be able to educate their people in the U.S. to achieve this. It's conditional for the sale and we're happy to sell them the rope.

Bridgitte Gabriel was on CSPAN2 today for about an hour, lecturing an Army Staff College group. She was absolutely on fire. Every American should hear it. It may be on again. I hope so. You can see and hear it on the small screen at this URL:

http://www.booktv.org/program.aspx?ProgramId=8379&SectionName=&PlayMedia=No

This was recorded earlier this week. She later was interviewed on AM 560 with Barbara Simpson (5/14/07). She mentioned that some of the people in the audience dressed in American uniforms were actually Saudi generals. There was another session not recorded evidently in which she really got into it with the Saudis. I would love to hear that exchange! She was very angry about their presence.

These Saudis will undoubtedly try to put her out of business, but you get the definite impression she is no wimp.

An encouraging by-product of the film was that the questions from the audience of officers in training displayed a very good knowledge of the overall jihadi problem. They read her book, and they asked the right questions. Her answers capsulized everything that we are doing wrong!

There is a woman I would like to have as Secretary of State, if not Defense.

I am confused. I hear about Saudi Arabia being a close friend and ally but Saudis attack US on 9/11, Saudis attack USS Cole, Saudis kill Paul Johnson, on TV. Saudis kill Americans in Iraq. Something wrong with this picture about US's close 'friend and ally' or could they be dubya;s friends who are using dubya to destroy America? Given dubyas read on Iraq and immigration, I would not be surprised if it the lattewr and no, it is not me who is wrong or confuded, any more. Thank you.

Jimmy Bones-

Thanks for the Brigette Gabriel link!

(If only Moghammad had met this Gabriel!)

Tremendous stuff!

I'll be spreading it to other sites.

Time to change to Constitution to let her run against Hillary!

A real wartime leader for a change!

(The Muslim member of the military audience was clearly not thrilled with her remarks about Islam, and tried to get in a little anti-Zionist dig with his irrelevant question that fell utterly flat.)

She's as good as a glass of Don Perignon!

Bob Schieffer -

I am still not sure that I believe it: The Iraqi parliament is going on vacation during the month of August.

The White House offers the lame excuse that, after all, Baghdad is hot in August – sometimes 130 degrees.

May I ask a follow-up?

How much hotter do you suppose it is if you are a wearing a helmet, full body armor, carrying ammunition and walking foot patrols through Baghdad?

The last I heard, that is how American troops are spending their August in Iraq.

For me, this does it.

God help the Iraqi people because there is not much America can do to help a government that leaves Americans dying in the streets while the parliament escapes to cooler climes.

Does this mean we should pull out immediately?

No. A sudden withdrawal could set the entire region aflame. The truth is there are no good options left. But from here on, we need to put aside the dream of building a democracy in Iraq and focus solely on what is in our national interest.

It won't be pretty, but for all our good intentions, about all we can do now is try to contain this mess, pull our troops back from the middle of this civil war, and concentrate instead on the terrorist threat that this country faces around the world.

As for what kind of government Iraq needs, let their parliament figure it out. They can get right on it when the Baghdad weather turns cooler.

Absolutely devastating words!

This is something that the American people will not let stand for much longer.

....don't forget, SAUDI money is building Mosques all around the globe, SAUDI money is bank rolling many Islamic court cases, SAUDI money is financing many questionable business dealing concerning weapons and financial aid to families of suicide bombers....The Saudi Government is suspected of bribing government officials of many countries...and it is true...many of the better terrorists involved in the more high profile terror attacks are Saudis, financed with Saudi money (Osama Bin-Ladin, is Saudi)...it becomes clearer with each passing Day that much of the worlds terrorist related deaths occur due to Saudi involvement....

Islam is for losers...

Between Saudi Arabia funding most of the mosques built here in American and providing the Imans, and considering their Jihadist Islam that is taught and promoted through-out the world, the United States needed to divest it self of Saudi oil, get out of that country, and realize and act like it is an enemy because it is. I, whether under Clinton or Bush, have been upset for over a decade that nothing has been done about this by our government officials. Proof once again that the government is fast heading towards a Jefferson-style show-down.

Monk - in defense of Gabriel, her audience was not political, it was military, and she could hardly vent against the CIC in that audience, which must obey the CIC.

Her views are on the other hand prety much opposed to everything coming out of the white house in regards to the Saudis.

I understand the Saudi's oil supply to the US directly is 20 percent of our oil requirement. If they were to loose us as direct customers, so what? They still have to sell their oil to the market, and we will still get it from the market. So what do we loose by breaking relations with this enemy? A few American companies may loose out; so what? Even if Al Qaeda were to take over SA, they would still have to sell to the market to fund their fanaticism. The Royal Family's network of mosques and Saudi Imams are already totally Al Qaeda supporters. The only change would be the royals would be out and OBL or his successor would be in. At leasts the fiction would be dropped and there should be nothing in the way of declaring war on Saudi Arabia.

Monk...I dont think there is anything wrong with conservatives. It's republicans that are the problem. As far as I am concerned, there is little difference between democrats and Republicans, holding public office. The whole upper crust of elitists needs to be 'bounced', and replaced with people that actually function.
Bush is not a con or a dem. He is a globalist who has a desire to destroy America, and replace it with a gov that we do not know. His love affair with the Sauds, is disgusting. Kissing and holding hands with other men (muslims), and spouting off all that 'religion of peace BS, is proof of it. 'In bed with them', has a special meaning all on its own...

Bush appears in bed with the Saudi's(infiltrated our Country with Prince Bandar his 9/11 supporting wife plus college campuses loaded with Arab professors and Mosques pumping out American hate) and that explains why we have not been hit again.

We are totally infiltrated by Muslims with even Ellison pumping out American hate in Congress.

I recently received in the mail a gratis copy of the "Prince", the authorized biography of Prince Bandar. Despite the fawning treatment of its subject, well worth a glance. If you get a chance, borrow (or steal) it. Bandar and his family have such an incestuous relationship with American politicians, both civilian and military, that it will make you gag. One revelation - Bandar takes full credit for making it possible for dhimmi Cartaer to give away that troublesome canal down in Panama.
