"How's your situation in regards to upholding the daily prayers?" he wrote. "Hopefully my advice was well received and if you didn't start praying yet, I'd ask you to re-read the two letters I wrote earlier this year on that subject and to reflect on your situation with Allah."
Reid also harshly rebutted his dad's suggestion that a Christian aunt who died suddenly was in a "better place."
"You should know that while Allah is merciful and forgiving, this applies only to those who upheld His rights," he wrote. "I do know that if she died while still believing that Jesus and God are one then that's not good as she had the chance to find out about Islam."

In the struggle against radical Islam there is much to be discouraged about. How pleasant it was then to be reminded of the 100s (hopefully) of radicals who are slowly rotting away in prisons throughout the world. I wonder if any of them, years from now, when no one remembers or cares about them will have jail house conversions and turn Christian, Jewish, or who knows what. Either way, the thought that he thinks he is going anywhere other than from his cell to the exercise yard for the rest of his life was precious. Indeed he should serve out his sentence, however I do not entirely agree. Even a maniac in jail for life should have a change to escape the mental prison of this Jihad madness. There has to be a way of reaching young people who are falling into this trap. Even one eloquently written article from the likes of of Richard Reid could make a difference. There are such people speaking out - one from Britain whose name I do not recall, I recently saw a news piece about online. Some have not left Islam entirely, but rather questioned merely the death-loving aspect of Jihad, but half a loaf, or a quarter, is better than none. It would be best if someone like Reid would completely wake up from his delusion, and write about it.

Six years in a Colorado prison and this dimwit is still hardened to his beliefs. Has there been any program to debrief this guy; by at the least,Muslim clerics? If it's God's will that he be rehabilitated and if it's what Reid wants, it will happen. Many death row inmates have found God. There's no reason Reid can't find peace, either.
Until then he faces a lifetime of what must seem like cruel and unusual punishment (for a Muslim). He will be unable to go out killing infidels. After forty-plus years of the hated infidel monitoring his every move and dictating what food he eats and when he sleeps, he will die old and sick, surrounded by infidel doctors and attended to by infidel nurses and he will never shed a drop of infidel blood.

Not long ago, the imprisoned terrorist Dhiren Barot was attacked with boiling water in an English prison. His wife gave an interview saying that muslim prisoners should be housed separately from the rest of the prison population. Once they have achieved this, the muslims will start to agitate to achieve a special status for muslims convicted of terrorism charges- that of political prisoners and eventually "prisoners of conscience".
Once acts of terror in the name of Jihad are acknowledged as legitimate response to occupation, humiliation "bad foreign policy" blah blah blah... then eventually even acts of terrorism committed by mulsims in western countries will be seen as "legitimate resistance".
It won't be long before western countries start releasing these bastards as part of some peace deal with this or that muslim country or terror group.
