LONDON - The FBI confirmed Friday that two suspects in the failed car bombings in Britain had contacted a clearinghouse for foreign doctors about working in the United States, and British officials probed links between the attacks and al-Qaida in Iraq.
FBI spokeswoman Nancy O'Dowd said Mohammed Asha and another suspect had contacted the Philadelphia-based Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates, as first reported in The Philadelphia Inquirer. She said Asha, a Jordanian of Palestinian heritage, contacted the agency within the last year, but apparently did not take the test for foreign medical school graduates.
Obviously, a major policy review is in order.
"He was applying, (but) we don't believe he took the test," she said.
O'Dowd could not immediately confirm the name of the second suspect.
The FBI this week visited the ECFMG's office in West Philadelphia, O'Dowd said.
"She said Asha, a Jordanian of Palestinian heritage, contacted the agency..."
Jordan is Palestine east of the river Jordan. So the correct way to describe "Dr." Asha is as a "eastern 'Palestinian' Arab of western 'Palestinian" origin."
In any case, identification of someone a according to where one's ancestors came from is, in the case of those trying to make a political point, getting to be transparent. Henry Kissinger may be a "German Jewish refugee"; his son, however, is not. A Hindu who flees what is now Pakistan in 1949 may be a Hindu refugee; his grandson is not. Only in one case do we permit a certain pseudo-group from handing down, as if in the genes, the quality of being a "refugee" -- and this is in the case of the so-called "Arab refugees," who after 1967 were named "Palestnian refugees." That word "refugee" can only apply to those who actually moved from country A to country B, not to their children born in country B, and certainly not to those who moved thinking they would soon be returning in the wake of a successful Arab military campaign.
And then there is one other thing.
What are the people in Iraq called -- or most of them? Arabs, and Kurds.
In Egypt? Arabs, and Copts (who speak Arabic, but are not ARabs)
In Algeria and Morocco? Arabs, and Berbers.
Why then, when it comes to Israel, is the ethnic group "Arab" forgotten, and suddenly the local Arabs must be referred to as "Palestinians" with their so-called "nationalist" project, to be contrasted with the Jews of Israel?
The transparency of the careful renaming should be obvious. It hasn't been, just as the nature of the war against Israel -- a classic Jihad against an Infidel state, that began even before that state was declared, burst into open warfare at the time the state was declaed, continued as diplomatic and economic warfare, punctuated by as much terrorism as proved possible, between 1948 and 1967, when there was not a single Israeli soldier in Gaza or the "West Bank," and continued after the defeat of 1967, with the goals re-packaged as having something to do with the "nationalist aspirtations" of the just-invented "Palestinian people."
Things need to be seen aright: in Thailand and Pakistan, in India and Bangladesh, in Pakistan and Sudan and Nigeria (where the Biafra War was a war, by the Christians, of self-defense against the Jihad conducted against them by the Muslims of the north), in France and Great Britain and elsewhere, in the Bilad al-kufr, where Jihad by all means, but chiefly by use of the Money Weapon, and campaigns of Da'wa, and demographic conquest, proceed. And also, and not least, in Israel -- whether or not the benighted and not very imnpressive current leaders of Israel recognize that what they are fighting against, and have always been fighting against, even when they had no idea, was a Jihad, directed at their state not because of its size -- that is irrelevant -- but because it is a Jewish, and thus an Infidel state, on land (and it does not matter that the land is a mere sliver, without any natural resources, nor that Jews, like the Kurds and Berbers and Armenians and Assyrians and Copts, were also people of the vast area so misleadingly by some now called "the Arab world," might "deserve" a defensible state of their own. The very idea of the Infidel nation-state is abhorrent to Muslims, though of course those who now live in those nation-states will, for now, largely shut up about that abhorrence.
The question is: how deliberately, wilfully ignorant will Infidels, and especially those Infidels whose duty it is to instruct and protect us, continue to remain?
All they have to do is contact a member of our government - preferably Ted Kennedy, or any member of the GOP, and they will have instant access. Its not like they are White Christians, are they?
The bomb plot was pathetic. The potential to create casualties was there, but the execution of the plan itself was very poor.However, these people were in a professional position that would enable them to quietly kill plenty of 'infidels'.
My father was a veterinarian. Whether by surgery or by using medication he was highly skilled at his profession. Likewise, when there were animals preying on our livestock or pest animals eating our garden he could be quite creative in killing them.
Has anyone considered that this group of 'doctors' might be doing the same thing to their infidel patients? How many people did they intentionally mistreat? How many people died of untreated infections, etc, that could easily be explained away??
Their bombing plot failed miserably, but just because their improvised fuel-air explosives didn't go boom doesn't mean they haven't been hurting and killing people. Many of the pest animals we killed died quietly without the sound of a firearm being shot. How many casualties of these "doctors" died the same way?

July 6 (Bloomberg) -- Ezeiquiel Lopez already had a rap sheet that stretched all the way to Texas when, police said, he shot Kenosha County, Wisconsin, Deputy Sheriff Frank Fabiano in the head, killing him.
Lopez, 45, an illegal immigrant from Mexico, was free at the time of the May shooting, after having been jailed for two prior violent crimes. By law, he should have been deported, but federal immigration authorities didn't know he had been in custody, and state and local police didn't tell them.
The case isn't an exception. Fewer than half the foreigners convicted of crimes in the U.S. -- most of whom are in the country illegally -- are deported after serving their sentences, according to the Homeland Security Department's inspector general.

I thought they would tightened up instead we got the opposite. More import of 1,000's of muslims what ever they want to do! Again, before the well being of our own people. It's asinine that the U.S. and other western nations have to import doctors and other medical staff. We have qualified applicants who are unable to get a medical education because medical schools lack capacity. At the same time we have a shortage of doctors and nurses that "forces" us to allow graduates of foreign medical schools into our country to take up the slack. This situation has persisted for decades. Why?

It seems to me that events in London and Glasgow this past week would be the basis for massive law suet's against the government run British health system.
Emagine finding out that your doctor was capable of mass murder, and that he has been on a terrorist watch list while employed by the government health services. At the very least, the health services were guilty of criminal neglegence, or wreckless endangerment. The stress caused by the knowledge that your Doctor could have snuffed yours, and any number of other lives, out out of some twisted Islamic moral duty, is certainly worth a day in court.
At the very least, it could force a public examination of Muslim attitudes towards the worth non-Muslim peoples. It might even stop the Ideologues in the health system from playing roulette with the lives of others.
The USA has the death penalty. Let them come, please.

The Ahmed brothers had applied to work in WA “over the last couple of years” but were turned down by the state branch of the Australian Medical Association (AMA), President Dr Dr Geoff Dobbs said tonight.
“We have very thorough checks of their qualifications and references and on assessment of those it was decided not to offer employment,” Dr Dobbs said.
Dr Mohammed Asif Ali, 26, who was questioned by the AFP over the plot but released without charge, also had applied for work in the WA health system, but was turned down, Dr Dobbs said.
He said one of the three had made several applications for work in WA, but did not reveal which one.
“One of them made a number of applications and these have been over the last couple of years,” he said.
The other two made a single application in that same time frame.
The WA AMA had contacted the AFP yesterday after identifying the mens' names in their records, Dr Dobbs said.
“We contacted them after we identified their names within our records,” he said.
The men had applied for jobs through the recruitment agency AMA WA Recruitment Services, which recruits doctors from around the world to work in the WA health system."
Looks like Perth Airport or Sydney Airport had a lucky escape.

Think about how much worse it would be if outraged Americans had not forced the Senate to reject their Comprehensive Immigration "Reform" boondoggle.
