Some good news in an update on this story, and Ehsan Jami's police protection will continue at the current level. "Police arrest suspected attacker of Islam critic," from Deutsche Presse-Agentur:
Amsterdam - The Hague police on Thursday announced they had arrested one of the three suspected attackers of Islam critic Ehsan Jami. A police spokeswoman said the arrest could be made thanks to the detailed description Jami gave of the 17-year-old young man.
Jami recently founded a committee for former Muslims, saying it was necessary to overcome what he called "persistent taboos" in Muslim society about leaving the faith.
Including, of course, the threat of death, per Muhammad's own orders: "Baddala deenahu, faqtuluhu" -- "if anyone changes his religion, kill him ( Bukhari vol. 9, bk. 84, no. 57)."
He is also a member of the city council for the Labour Party in Leidschendam- Voorburg near the Hague.
Jami told police the attacker was someone he had seen in his neighbourhood several times in recent months.
Iranian born Jami received extra personal protection early August after being attacked for the third time by Muslim youths.
He lives in a secret location and receives police protection around the clock. He has not appeared in public since he was last attacked almost four weeks ago.
The attacks followed after Jami referred to the Muslim Prophet Mohammed as a "horrible man" in several interviews and said he wanted to start a debate about domestic violence and human rights in Islam.
The police said efforts would continue to arrest the other two alleged attackers.
In the meantime, police protection for Jami will remain unchanged.
Shame we are so tolerant of intolerance.
At least the article said "Muslim youths" instead of youths.
All that's left is to redefine the word 'peace'.

I'm organizing an effort to get the book simultaneously to all 100 senators, in order to send a strong message. If we get more than two people per state, books can also be sent to the House of Representatives.

Once we have at least two people from every state, we can agree on a mailing date and then each of us can mail a copy of the book on that date.
Right before each of us mails the book, we can issue a press release to various media outlets in every state, and in that way announce and explain the mailing. And perhaps we can come up with some other ways of maximizing the effectiveness of this project and gaining as much positive attention as possible.
One of the project's volunteers suggested contacting Rep. Sue Myrick, who started the anti-Jihad caucus in Congress. I'll try to coordinate this project with Rep. Myrick to maximize its effectiveness. I've also been calling various congressional offices to get advice on how best to go about this. And I'll soon contact Regnery, Robert Spencer's publisher, to ask their advice and to see if we can coordinate with them in some way.

Anyone who dares to criticize the flagrant cruelties and retrograde stupidities of Mohammad (pb&j), in a land where Pim Fortuyn and Theo Van Gogh were assassinated for doing the same thing, is heroic.

I've written many times about Muslims who've defrauded Medicaid. That includes continuing Medicaid fraud by the Dearbornistan-based Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services (ACCESS), pursuant to which you, the taxpayer, pay for the delivery of babies to pregnant Muslim foreign aliens who lie to Customs and Border Protection inspectors to get into the country to have their kids here. Their kids become anchor babies with U.S. citizenship.
