The Palestinian Authority has accidentally paid the salaries of 3,000 members of Hamas's main security force.According to the Fatah-run Palestinian information ministry, 3,000 members of its rival's Executive Force were paid before the mistake was noticed.
The payments were halted and most were reversed, Fatah officials say. But reports say hundreds of Hamas men were able to cash their salary cheques.
Hamas took over Gaza in mid-June, its Executive Force routing Fatah's forces.
This has left the Palestinian territories split and under the control of the rival factions - Hamas in Gaza, and Fatah in the parts of the West Bank not controlled by Israel.
Israel and the international community has backed Palestinian Authority President and Fatah leader Mahmoud Abbas, while increasing the isolation of Hamas and completely cutting off Gaza and its 1.5 million residents.
Mr Abbas is refusing to engage in any kind of talks with Hamas.
Hamas is considered a terrorist organisation by much of the international community which refuses to deal with it directly until it recognises Israel and renounces violence.
'Rushing to the bank'
A Hamas official in Gaza told the Reuters news agency that members of the Executive Force were contacted on Wednesday and told their salaries had been paid.
"To their surprise, they got phone calls telling them to collect their salaries. They rushed to the bank," the official said.
....it goes to show, you cannot tell one Islamic thug employee from the other....I guess you just show up at the pay counter wearing your sayyid and toting your AK47...you mumble some baloney about Allah Akbar...and then you go to the rear of the line ... you may get paid twice....

I dont know why the EU, the USA, Israel pay any money at all to Abbas's Fatah.
Hamas is a shark, Fatah is a shark in a nice suit, with slightly toned-down (but not by much) rhetoric. This suit-wearing, slightly toned-down rhetoric seems to confuse the EU, the USA, Israel into thinking, "ah yes, these are the moderates - we want to deal with them".
In reality, they are all cut from the same cloth.
I dont want the EU, the USA, Israel or the UN to pay a cent or penny to any of these Palestinians. Let the Arabs do it.

Kill 'em with real kindness, I say. Just start issuing their aid payments in credits for Chinese goods. Here's your jizyah payment, fellas and now go to the Chinese company store and get yourself some poisoned toothpaste, mold-infected wheat, or the tainted home good of your choice to enjoy on us.
Of course, we'll be increasing China's manufacturing quota, but at the same time, their tainted goods, in the hands of angry terrorist-sponsoring states will prompt retribution and the necessary oversight to reign in unscrupulous Chinese capitalists. Win-win?

Well since we were never conquered by the PA types and since we are already at war with Jihadist … perhaps instead of sending cash for peace… We send B-52 for some friendly carpet bombing of the Gaza strip and the West Bank. The most telling comment in the article is 'they got a PHONE CALL and rushed to the Bank' now I dont know about you but I dont know ANY bank that phones you to tell you to come and take out money.
