Hizb ut-Tahrir posts propaganda videos on YouTube

A search on "Hizb ut Tahrir" at YouTube yields abundant examples of HuT propaganda. "Islamist propaganda on YouTube," by Natalie O'Brien for The Australian:

THE hardline Islamic group Hizb ut-Tahrir has started posting professionally produced propaganda video clips on YouTube.

The clips, some lasting almost 10 minutes, posted on the internet video-sharing site depict Muslims being attacked by Western forces and asks "for how much longer?"

Produced by the group's Malaysian branch, the clips call on Muslims to "arise and shake off the dust" of European colonialism and show members marching in support of Palestinians to the commentary "O armies of the Muslim world, we wait for your help".

US intelligence analyst Madeleine Gruen has warned that the younger generation's pioneering spirit has made Hizb ut-Tahrir one of the world's most innovative extremist groups.

Hizb ut-Tahrir has been banned in Europe, China and countries in the Middle East including Saudi Arabia.

However, it remains active in Britain and Australia, promoting the idea of an international caliphate, or Muslim government, to run countries with a majority Muslim population under sharia law.

Only Muslim-majority countries? Then, why is it active in Britain and Australia, among other places?

Barry Rubin, a visiting fellow at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, says the group has been banned in the Middle East because people there understand the dangers, but is allowed to continue operating in the West because its governments fail to appreciate the group prepares people mentally for terrorism.

Professor Rubin, also the director of Israel's Global Research for International Affairs Centre, has called on the Australian Government to outlaw the group.

Federal Attorney-General Philip Ruddock has said the status of Hizb ut-Tahrir is under constant review, but said last week the threshold test for banning an organisation was the involvement in or advocacy of terrorism.

Ms Gruen says that five years ago most Western observers considered Hizb ut-Tahrir's goal of overthrowing governments to replace them with a caliph was unrealistic and unlikely to resonate with Western Muslims.

How about now?

The group used to have a presence in about 40 countries but that has now grown to 45.

She argues the group's membersip has swelled and several branches, including Australia's, have become large enough to move from their "covert gestational phase to a publicly active stage".

And yet, Great Britain, with so many Pakistanis living there (many now British citizens, but very few conceivably being -- given what Islam inculcates, either loyal supporters, or even truly members of, the polity and civilization of Great Britain)does not ban the jabbering HuT. Nor does Australia, another country whose Muslim population has given ample evidence of its views, sometimes in what is said directly, and sometimes what is said or not said to support those who say certain things directly -- views which flatly contradict what makes Australia Australia. And the United States, whose political class, and the class of those who presume, in the press and on radio and television, to know about things and to be able to instruct us, have all been unable to locate their heads, having apparently misplaced them some time ago.

And why is that? Is it because Islam is not a threat? That the spread of Islam, "militant" or not, in the end simply swells the ranks of those who, whatever they claim to win acceptance and to be free from scrutiny, much less any acts undertaken by Infidels in rational self-defense, will or can become those "militants" -- that is,k those who both wish to participate personally in the Jihad, instead of merely lending their aid to others who do so, and who also wish to conduct Jihad through "qitaal" or "combat" which, for Muslims in the Infidel lands, means of course terrorism, for there is no possibility of direct military assault, for now, on the armed might of the Western world. But should Muslims manage to tie down Western police and armies, to silence critics by intimidation and lawsuits and worse, should people come to accept, little by little, the changes to their own political and legal systems and social arrangements, all under steady pressure, of every kind, from Muslims steadily and relentlessly pursuing the goal of removing what they see as "obstacles" not merely to the "spread" of Islam (as they might demurely refer to it, and so might foolish Infidels) but to the "spread" and "dominance" of Islam, so that Islam everywhere commands, and Muslims rule, everywhere. This geopolitical doctrine, wrapped in a religion's hide, should at this point no longer be hidden from such view.

Jabber on, HuT. Some will get the point.

Indeed. I would hope that viewpoint has changed by now. I doubt it though; it would appear the the British, and US governments are more ignorant than the princes of Saudi Arabia.

This is an example of 'black magick' of the most evil and incidious kind. It is the same evil applied for the manufacture of martyr mentality, or the beheading mentality, or the torture mentality. The worlds black magicians are continually Fing with our heads. We are constantly being prepared mentally for one thing or another. And it is not just muslims doing this, but these black magicians are the ones in our face at the moment, so we have to find ways to deal with them first, and the rest later.

Darcy...They should expect disruptive counter protests at some or all these colleges. One thing that works in Islams favor is, that you can knock it down, but you cant keep it down, it keeps getting up. Reminds me of one of those punching bags with sand in the bottom, that you also can't get to stay down, unless you deflate it, then it will stay down.
So we can expect Islam to keep getting up, untill we finally deflate it. Eventually it will self destruct, but between now and then it is a dangerous entity that will do what it has to, to survive and grow. Counter protests at these events are actually good because they are usually abusive on the part of the muslim protesters, that gets publicity, and the world once again gets to see what muslims really think of free speech and freedom...
