I had the show on last night but did not watch all of it. IMO it was pablum and typical MSM. Because they (CNN) think they need to not pick sides they play right into the hands of the enemy. For the sensational card she portrays the other side in as negative a light as possible. It is she idea of far and balanced.

At a spiritual level lumping several apparent different groups with the "fundamentalist" tag dilutes the threat of Islam and tars the other groups unjustly.

I've never contemplated enlisting for a war, however if Iran attacked God's chosen people in Israel, I think I may just do so.

As regards Israel - read the book of Judges. The mess they're in now is not unlike messes they've been in before, long ago.

The CNN series is an obvious religious moral equivalence white-washing. It largely ignored all historical occurences between the Jews and the Muslims prior to the 6 Days War. The impression that I got was that if the Jews had only ceased to expand, in violation of international law, then there would be no rift. That is hardly the case when one performs even a cursory review of Middle Eastern history.

The Jews, like Christians and Muslims are certainly not exonerated from all blame historically. This small piece of "holy land" certainly has caused more problems then it is worth in my opinion, an opinion which I am all but sure is shared by the atheistic point of view. I do not however, prescribe to the "all religions are equally cruel and intolerant" mantra.

A quick look at how religious diversity is all but obliterated in countries like Saudi Arabia, where it is forbidden to carry a Bible publically, should set off an alarm somewhere in the world of the sane.

I am quite sure that CNN will focus on the Crusades being a shameful occurence for Christianity tomorrow night. I disagree with this premise entirely. One need only study history, not the PC watered-down history taught by most US academia, but real history to draw your own conclusions on the matter.

I fully expect heavy doses of thoroughly exposed Islamic apologist, Karen Armstrong to be featured this evening. I could be wrong, but in my experience, rarely am.
