The ACLU is taking up this guy's case...of course...anything to support anything even slightly hinting of "terrorism" (the ACLU runs to support it). Far worse than the supposition that the Qur'an does not justify beheadings is the fallacy that the Qur'an is the only source of Islamic jurisprudence. Anytime a taqyyist or Islamophile tries to apologize for Islamic crimes, this is among the most common tactics. The Qur'an does not allow it. Never mind that the Qur'an does allow it; in the Sunnah, to name but one instance, Muhammad gave thanks to God when, after one of his soldiers found Abu Jahl among the wounded after the battle of Badr, he cut off his head and threw it at Muhammad's feet (Ishaq pg 390).
And let's of course not forget the beheading of 600-900 males above the age of puberty after Muhammad's seige of the Banu Qurayza.
