SEATTLE – The FBI is asking for the public's help to identify two men who have been seen acting suspiciously aboard Washington State ferries recently.The FBI released a bulletin late Monday, including photographs of the two men. One of the photos shows the men side-by-side and the other is a solo shot of one of them. They were snapped by a ferry employee who thought the pair acted suspiciously.
"They had more than the average interest in the working parts of the ferry, the layout of the ferry, the size of it -- more than you would see in normal passenger," said FBI spokesperson Robbie Burroughs.
The FBI says the men were seen on more then one ferry and more than one run over the past several weeks. They were also taking photos of parts of the boat, which the agents won't reveal, but that apparently aroused the suspicions of passengers and crew alike.
The FBI says the men had an unusual interest in the layout and workings of the ferries.
"We got several different reports of this, these same gentlemen," said Burroughs. "We've attempted through law enforcement means to identify and locate them and we've been unsuccessful."
So now, the FBI wants to hear from anyone who knows or has seen these men, and it wants passengers to keep an eye peeled.

......this is exactly the type of preventative action I have recommended in past posts....Take pictures of suspicious people...take the pictures in bus terminals, train stations, airports, around fuel storage areas, tunnels, financial institutions, campuses, and other areas that that the Muslim terrorists may consider "soft targets" (those areas with inadequate security but have the potential for maximum body count and shock value). Report all suspicious activity to authorities (even if the authorities are reluctant to take your information)...The terrorist you photograph just may be the terrorist who is planning to kill you..
....I have also recommended taking photographs of people going to mosques, attending support rallies for Muslim terrorist organizations, attending support rallies for Muslims in court for terrorist activities....it is very important to start identifying the soldiers of Islam...you know, those "good ole boys, never meaning no harm"....
...It is also time to Ban Muslim Immigration...
How long before the ferry employee gets sued?
This will no doubt prompt lawsuits against the ferry employees and passengers from CAIR. These men were obviously singled out because they looked like Middle Easterners.

HQ calls the authorities, and...
VOILA!
Cops are waiting for them at the boat ramp, ready to hand them over to FBI for questioning.
(yes...it IS that simple. It's not like they'll jump overboard to evade...in THAT cold-ass water? lol, they wouldn't last long, especially durkanese-they freeze from air conditioning, lol)
The entire sequence takes about 5 minutes max, and that if they take their time-it's usually less...the ride takes much longer than that...at least 3X over on average.

And perhaps we can come up with some other ways of maximizing the effectiveness of this project and gaining as much positive attention as possible.
One of the project's volunteers suggested contacting Rep. Sue Myrick, who started the anti-Jihad caucus in Congress. I'll try to coordinate this project with Rep. Myrick to maximize its effectiveness. I've also been calling various congressional offices to get advice on how best to go about this. And I'll soon contact Regnery, Robert Spencer's publisher, to ask their advice and to see if we can coordinate with them in some way.

My concern is that the Islamists could be installing "plants". How obvious were these guys and were they just being obvious enough so that if caught could proclaim:"See We're innocent! I'm with jcom972 on this one. How on Earth could the same two men of Middle-Eastern appearance have been witnessed by both passengers and crew acting suspiciously on numerous ferry trips, and yet nobody thought of calling the police???
At least the FBI have got their photos out and are asking for help in finding them. If this had happened in the UK, law enforcement wouldn't even be able to do this, because it would breach the suspects' human rights.

Of course we are all being back seat drivers here. But at least some folks, or should I say John Does in case CAIR is watching and getting ready to send another case to their Muslim lawyer in Manhatten. At least a flag has been raised with photos as well. Another terrific approach would have been to steathily find where they go,what they do, get a vehicle plate, and vehicle description before announcing that we are on to their suspicious behavior.Another words,build a case without them knowing it.
This whole lawsuit fad is hard for me to understand. I think I recall Bush, shortly after 9/11 calling upon the American public to be on the watch for suspicious behavior of any kind, anywhere.

Having been on these ferries several times, they are enormous and allow for large tractor trailers, and buses to drive on them as if they were a moving bridge; the question is; do they have infrared,Etc. security monitors to examine these vehicles as they come on board these ferries?

I've been on the ferries too, in fact, I live on an island and that's our route to the mainland. I've always worried about security, there is none. They have bomb sniffing dogs in Seattle, that supposedly check all vehicles boarding a ferry. Here, there's not even a police car presence, let alone anyone checking. Also , no checks on luggage, backpacks, anything. In fact, the would be LAX bomber in 2000 transported all his explosives by ferry to enter the US, and if not for that alert customs agent in the US, would have made it.
gymgal -- in July my husband and I flew to Seattle and attended a wedding on Orcas Island, so we rode the ferry to and from the island, and like Mackie said, it was enormous. This headline gave me chills, so I can only imagine how it makes you feel.
BTW -- the San Juan Islands are just beautiful!

Have you ever seen the movie, Double Jeopardy, starring Ashley Judd and Tommy Lee Jones? Not only is it a suspenseful movie, but there's a 10-minute scene taken on the ferry in Seattle that's pretty good.
As someone who commutes daily into DC on the Metro system with no screening of bags or anything, well, I'm amazed that nothing has happen yet. And I don't think its because the FBI, et al are keeping out the bad guys. It's just luck.

The last place they want to be is in a US court believe it, no matter what they tell us It is about exposure, getting names and addresses of those who report suspicious behavior. If you see behavior like this point it out on the spot, Ask a question loud and clear, Hey, what are those guys doing over there or what the heck is going on over there? If they want to play games lets point it out, let them be the ones that all of a sudden are not feeling too safe surrounded by infidel eyes all focusing in on them. Maybe they will jump overboard. Eventually the authorities will figure out that we have to treat islamist trials as we do organized crime trials with all the secrecy and protection of witnesses/lawyers/judges/bailiffs/court reporters/coffee klatch monitors that go along with it. How long it will take for them to figure this out, who knows.
