Swedish Embassy in Pakistan plays the dhimmi, "regrets" Muhammad cartoon

I'd like to hear some regret from the Mohammedan over their co-religionist using Islam to slay Kafur.

Because, frankly, I'd rather have some silly cartoons drawn then carbombs detonated any day.

In fact, I find their carbombs an extreme offense.

And I am speaking of the tactical form of offense.

How about some of those peaceniks wearing T-shirts with the slogan

“Make Cartoons, Not Carbombs!”

Has any muslim country or leader apologized for the violent behavior of muslims living in Malmo, Sweden, which has become NO GO AREA for police and fire department.

I am Pakistani Christian and advise Pakistani muslim to boycott immigrating to Europe. Why do Porkistanis always love to immigrate to Infidel countries. Is that because arab countries do not give other muslims immigration and treat them like dogs and slaves if they chose to work in any arab country?

Free speech and freedom of expression works really well until you begin to realize that a certain ideology does not allow such expressions and its adherants will threaten you for displaying it.

It always amazes me how some individuals on the planet are willing to stand up against these threats and yet an entire country is to afraid to do the same. No doubt the the Swedish Embassy became fearful that they would be attacked in Pakistan.

Note that the OIC that represents pretty much all Islamic countries wants Sweden to prosecute the cartoonists-- Yep! Freedom of speech be dammed when it comes to Islam.

An umbrella body representing 57 Muslim nations, the Organisation of Islamic Conference, condemned the latest cartoon and urged the Swedish government to punish those responsible.

When ideas are granted human rights, democracy and freedom die. Slavery and oppression naturally follow. Those who would even obliquely agree that ideas, any ideas, are above criticism and that any criticism of those ideas is proscribed as a crime, are tacitly aiding and abetting the haters of the freedom of conscience, the mortal enemies of our civilization who have declared war upon us, desire to subjugate or kill us, our families, neighbors, and fellow citizens, and who aspire to plunder our property and burn our books.

The Pakistani foreign ministry expressed sorrow at what it described as a growing tendency "among some Europeans to mix the freedom of expression with an outright and deliberate insult to 1.3 billion Muslims worldwide".

Exaggerated and inflamatory statement, making it look like ALL 1.3 billion Moslems would be 'insulted'. If 80% of the Islamic world is non-Arab, but the victims of Arab imperialist conquests, perhaps some percentage would NOT be insulted? Not all are as brainwashed by their 'religion of war' as this Pakistani minister would want us to believe. Perhaps a much larger percentage of Moslems rather like the European mix of free speech and humor, and would say so were not their 'religion of peace' so damned violent in response. Say you agree with the Europeans, you even moved your whole family to Europe, and get a night call from your local imam and his death-fatwa goons for saying so. So they stay silent. They should take a poll of all those conquered Moslems to see if they all agree with the minister, or with humorous cartoons. We may discover much larger numbers in Islam who are actually human privately than they want to admit publicly, imams and ministers be damned. Take a poll where anonimity is safe, and see.

I vote that we have a "cartoon of the day."

No matter how badly things are, I vow to do 2 things daily: perform at least 1 kind deed and have a laugh (even at my own expense).

The Swedes are being "diplomatic", and were not apologizing.

Which is about what foreign personnel do in situations like this.

They should have added, if they wanted to add a little spice:

Will it though, Sarge? I'm not so sure. The more dhimmitude we see from our leaders, our national bodies, our so-called seats of learning, then the less likely I feel that the West will triumph in the battle of ideas with Islam.

I've just finished a book called The Fall of the Roman Empire: A New History by Peter Heather. In it, the author claims that the Western Roman Empire fell not because of defeat in battle, or hedonism, or newly-found Christian passivity, or any of the other ideas put forward by Gibbon et al.

It fell, he states, because of the mass migration of barbarian peoples (initially as refugees, ironically enough) into the Western Empire. Their occupation of Roman territory - much of it given to them to assauge the threat of violence from them - eventually denuded the Roman tax base to such an extent that it could no longer finance its own protection.

You might have expected the landowning classes, who formed the governing elites of the Western Empire's provinces, to resist the challenge of the barbarians. Not a bit of it. In order to keep their lands, they came to an arrangement with their new masters, until, eventually, they died out along with all vestige of their "Roman-ness".

This is exactly what we are seeing today. The price of mass Muslim migration - in terms of lost tax revenue, welfare payments and security costs -is putting a huge burden on the finances of Western European states. In addition, we are seeing our elites - politicians, media corporations, the liberal "intelligentsia" - increasingly comprimising their views and attitudes to accommodate the Muslim street.

I would like to think that there will be an eventual backlash, but increasingly I fear that our way of life will disappear not with a bang, but with a whimper.

The cartoon's creator, Lars Vilks, told the Associated Press news agency the drawing was art.

"I'm not against Islam. Everybody knows that," he is quoted as saying.

He admits he is not against islam, but this creep is very anti-Swedish, which every body seems to overlook.

He has had a crusade against Sweden for a least the last twenty years

Amid the predictable knee-jerk regret voiced by Swedish officialdom after yet another Muslim angerfest over a drawing, the photograph linked below encouraged me mightily. No, more than that - it made my whole day.

According to the Reuters caption, it shows liberals protesting outside the office of the Nerikes Allehandasite newspaper in Orebro, Sweden.

What's new about that, I hear you ask. Everyone knows they are hand-in-hand with the Muslims. But these liberals are staging a counter-protest against Iranian and Pakistani demands for the Swedish government to arrest the artist. Their placards are unclear, but the tape symbolically gagging their mouths says everything about what they clearly view as another attack by Muslims on free speech.

Look at the protestors. They are young, blonde, pretty Scandinavian women - one of the groups most threatened by the Islamising of their society, and one of the groups most vital to the anti-Islamist cause.

I could hug every one of them. Especially when you look at the other photos of the Muslim hate mob on the main protest brandishing their Korans and placards.

It's an encouraging sign, no?

Let us be quite clear about one thing - the EU has, at its core, a desire to avoid the type of conflict which has plagued the continent of Europe for centuries. Almost every European 'civil servant' sees, as his or her brief, the resolution of differences in a civilised fashion - and that is a laudable aim and one worthy of our support.

It doesn't take a great imagination to realise that it is better to avoid armed European conflict, better to avoid dragging the British Commonwealth into war, better to avoid dragging the USA into some stupid stance, than to make avoidable war upon our putative enemies.

That stated, however, let us be clear, quite clear, about one thing - one terribly important thing. The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (and its dependant territories) joined the EU when it was a mere formal assemblage of states. In other words we joined a Union of Sovereign States only to find ourselves in a Sovereign Union of States.

I, and many of my fellow Brits, and Swedes, and Germans, and Frenchmen, and Italians and all the others, would so much rather be free, sovereign and able to control our own destiny, no matter what the costs might be, than to stay in a Union which denies us, purposively and deliberately, our identity and our hard won freedoms.

Europe is NOT a country. Europe is NOT a homologous entity. Europe is a diverse collection of small and free, and I stress the free, States. I, and many others in Europe today, would rather starve in our free countries than wax fat and overfed in a politically correct dictatorship. Freedom and democracy is indivisible. Under the current EU structure there is not one country, one people, that is and who are, free. I, and many others, would rather starve in our mud huts than sacrifice one iota, one jot or tittle, of our freedoms. I know that you in the USA might find that hard to believe for you look at Europe in a very different way from the way that we do. Believe it - you are not the sole possessors or guardians of freedom! Actually, you came rather late to the game of freedom. Ben Franklin simply followed our lead. But that is by the by. Nowwe have to assert our freedom and we are hampered and hindered by your government's erroneous belief in a united europe. It ain't ever going to happen, folks. We are free and sovereign countries and once again the UK is debating where and what its role ought to be and today it is questioning its membership of the leftist, pro-Islamic, arrogant EU.

Europe's inability to acknowledge its past, its struggle against the absolutist tendencies of its enemies - Islam, not least amongst them - is the greatest weakness that the continent possesses. Europe, as a continent has lost not only its direction but also its impetus towards freedom - not just freedom for the artist, not just freedom for the businessman but, and most essential of all, freedom for the individual. Europe, today, has no concept of robust freedom.

All of Europe, and this idiot, failed Union, has, is a concept, a negative and retrograde concept, of 'rights'. But those 'rights' are not expressed as what the individual can and should do but, and this is most telling and most damning, they are expressed as what the individual must NOT do - or say or think. 'Rights', today, in Europe, are expressed as things that a human being must not do - they are not expressed, as all our enlightenment philosophy tells us they must be, as things that we ought to positively uphold and do but as actions we must not undertake or commit.

Of course Islam, that most ultimately negative of all religions, finds fertile ground in Europe. Given the negative actions that current European political correctness breeds it is small wonder that Islam makes its unwarranted gains in Europe today. We Europeans have been educated over many decades to see ourselves as unworthy, as failures, as fruitless offspring of failed imerpial experiments - and here the USA must bear its culpable share. Islam, of course, will take advantage of such negative viewpoints, for that is what it is good at, but we must see ourselves as equally blameworthy. We have failed to resist those who have told us, repeatedly, that we have no value. We have failed to assert the values which we know, and we have and failed to strongly assert the millenia of spiritual journeying and values which we have accumulated.

Many of us have, simply, forgotten - or failed to learn, about our heritances. Worse, many of us have failed to even see that we have value, heritances, history and culture. In our rush to embrace the new we have, literally, failed to embrace ourselves, failed to see ourselves and failed to value our experiences and our past.

So, some small minded Islamists and some narrow minded Swedes urged the Swedish government to punish those responsible for merely exercising their freedom, not a freedom that Islam can comprehend or live with, to differ; for theirs is an absolute faith and they have the hubris, the arrogance, the bare-faced certainty to assert, in the face of our heritage, that they have the right of it and that we are wrong. Worse, they fail to comprehend our concept of liberty and of religious freedom and they seek to use the laws about religious freedom, designed, quite rightly, to protect the individual Christian belief (particularly in Sweden), against us in such a way as to make a mockery of our freedoms. They, the Islamists in our midst, seek only to pervert our laws in their favour and this case is an ample demonstration, for all who can think, of precisely what I mean.

There is, in all things, a moment when truth stands out starkly against the lie. This is it! England is confused as to the basic precepts of freedom and has failed to to become a free and fair society thus far. Sweden now stands on the brink! Will it fail?

On the subject of Ayatolla Khomeni’s sexual teaching.

It has been stated several times that married a ten year old.
Robert Spencer stated this in a lecture he gave at the heritage foundation.
Can anyone provide more evidence to back this claim?

This the sort of thing where journalists need to do their homework.
For instance, Yasser Arafat claimed that he was born in Jerusalem.
Others said this was very strange because he spoke Arabic with a strong Cairo accent.
Others claimed was actually born in Cairo and so spent most of his life posing as a Palestinian refugee.
Various journalists, even BBC ones, decided to check up on this. They went to a Government records office in Eygpt and found that there was indeed a birth certificate proving Yasser Arafat’s birthplace was Cairo.
This is surely about as solid and objective as the discipline of history actually gets.

It does seem that he reduced the age of consent of girls in Iran to nine.
If you check the relevant penal code for Iran it does, I believe, confirm that.
