More British dhimmitude. "Apology for a TV channel," from the Telegraph (thanks to all who sent this in):
Presumably as part of its continuing campaign to remain the most controversial television channel in Britain, Channel 4 last night broadcast an interview with a jihadi sympathiser who explicitly advocates the taking up of arms by British Muslims.In the course of his appearance on the prime-time Dispatches programme, Abu Muhammed (who has been banned from entering Britain) justified the suicide bombings of July 7, 2005 on the grounds that "if somebody is committing aggression against you, you commit aggression towards him".
He appears to believe that the murder of 52 civilians, many of whom were not British and some of whom were Muslim, somehow qualifies as an appropriate retaliation for those aspects of Anglo-American foreign policy that he sees as constituting aggression against Islam.
That an Islamic fundamentalist should utter something so logically and morally indefensible is scarcely surprising. That a major broadcasting organisation should present it as a contribution to meaningful debate would be shocking - if it were within the bounds of possibility to be shocked by anything done by Channel 4.

One is shocked alright, but not by the truth-telling of Channel 4, attempting to present to viewers something other than the BBC version of Islam -- that is, something more approximating the truth. What is shocking is the way in which The Telegraph starts out to impugn the motives of Channel 4, to make sure that readers will agree that this is merely sensationalism on the part of Channel 4-- "[presumably as part of its continuing campaign to remain the most controversial television channel in Britain" when in fact it is performing an important public service, allowing viewers to see what a True Believer truly believes, which is not exactly the kind of thing that someone listening or watching the BBC is likely to have picked up a hint of, over the past, say, ten years.
What an absurd commentary. Whoever wrote it deserves to be discharged. He won't be, but in a world run by the well-prepared, he would be.
Such broadcasts are a good thing as long as accompanied by a claimer that the views expressed, Muslim immigration and conquest, are the views of the station, liberal elites everywhere, and of Blair, Brown, Bush, and Cameron.
Also the program should state the following quote that its already a theorem that the purpose and result of one way migration is genetic replacement.

Channel 4 did the "Undercover mosque" investigation which they deserve credit for. Reporters putting themselves at risk to expose the hatred that is teached there.
As for this latest program; is it a case of dhimmitude or give them enough rope and they'll hang themselves? The British public needs to wake up and I doubt any who saw this will have been converting to islam.
Personally, I'd give these islamic nutters a free half hour on TV every Friday to publicy spew their hatred of us.

Couln't resist that. Channel 4 is doing a service to the public by giving an unspun view of the Islamist mindset that seethes around them. If you're in a snakepit, it's good to have someone point out to you that you're surrounded by snakes. Not that it'll do you much good once they start biting...

Channel 4 didn't go far enough. Importantly, they gave airtime to some "moderates" who predictably spouted their own made-up version of islam, with no scriptural provenance whatsoever. The viewing public needed that background, and it wasn't provided.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

I saw this program and thought it was terrible.
It contained many Muslims advocating violence but came close to suggesting that this was a legitimate response to “injustice.”
The self-contradictory nature of this belief needs to be exposed and the reporter never attempted this.
For instance, there was a reference to colonialism. Cue a picture of a British chap with a pistol and pith helmet. No reference to the huge exercise in colonialism that the expansion of Islam consisted of. Here , of course, “the siege was never lifted.” I am reading “Islamic Imperialism; a history” at the moment by Efraim Karsh. It is superb. Why can’t a documentary cover similar ground?
Why didn’t the reporter remind the people he interviewed that;
Saddam Hussein started a war that killed 1.4 million people, the Iran-Iraq war. Many historians argue that the real reason the war happened was that the revolution in Iran created instability in the Shia regions of Iraq. Saddam Hussein thought he could end this by crushing the Iranian regime.
According to the ultra pc “Independent” he killed 200,000 people when he crushed the Shias incrusing their 1991 uprising.
Please do not give us all that nonsense about Shia not really being Muslims. They are at least human beings so why treat them like flies to be exterminated?
Britain helped remove a tyrant from power. The opportunity to create a better Iraq has been squandered by indigenous fanatics, not the British. Most of the current violence is Sunni/Shia directed at each other.
What about the human rights abuses committed by the Taliban? Etc etc.
I haven’t read “The Islamist” by Ed Hussein yet but intend to. I gather it touches on the difficult questions that need to be asked. He was interviewed on “Newsnight” which is pretty good on the subject of Islam unlike the rest of the BBC whose standards are rubbish.
Also the BBC actually ran an article on the film “Obsession.”

Hugh, did you listen to this program? All I heard was "Rah, Rah, Shish koom-ba!! Hooray for islam and suicide bombers!!"
The narrator? Did you listen to the narrator?? Ah yes, with such gems as the CIA is responsible for creating al-Qaeda or how about, "But the West's war on terror has merged anger [obviously, this is Justified Muslim Anger -- translate Murderous Suicide Bombing Anger at Infidels as per 7/7] with Islamic reasoning" -- that's a direct quote.
Then, of course, the program presents the spokesperson for the overthrow of the Saudis -- as a courageous dissident...(the CBC has been doing this also, btw, for years, presenting al-Qaeda types as courageous and noble "freedom fighters"), and never mind if the person preaches Jihad. And the British government is posed as the bungling, but evil opposer of "free speech" and all things wonderful. To the Muslims angelic stance, the British govt is presented as the evil doer out to silence the poor, oppressed and abused Muslims who have so much to be angry about. Then there's the "You CAN't Stop Theological Debate!!" (again, I'm quoting). Yeah, the Brits are so anxious to oppose and oppress the honest, persecuted Muslims. And, among the outrages, imagine the horror, the outrage -- the Brits are actually designing courses to de-radicalize Muslims!! Why the sheer audacity!! Trying to make Muslims non-violent?? How dare they!
This "program" (really a Da'wa session justifying pro Islamic terrorism) ended with an "English literature" graduate threatening that "We want things fixed" -- that's "or else" and the things fixed? Well of course, that means handing over Kashmir, "Palestine", and Chechnya to Muslims. Or ELSE. Got that, infidels?
This "program" is really Dhimmitude personified...pathetic and laughable.
Why is anyone surprised by this when for years now
the greatest allies that Muslims have had the is PC, Multi Culti, ‘Yuman rites’ spouting, Tree Hugging, Leftwing, Moonbat, Guardianistas. These people have long been in power in UK and almost exclusively supply all of Acedemia, the Judiciary, Social Services, Political Parties and the BBC (along with radical feminists and Gays of course) and the rest of the MSM. They have also heavily infiltrated the Police Force and the Armed Services. In the USA now I see the same moonbats taking power Nancy Pelosi 'et al' and you already have them in the MSM (CNN,CNBC etc). The next presidential election is crucial for the USA the result will decide if the USA survives or falls victim to the same 'moonbat' disease which grips most of Europe. The Sarkosy promises in France soon fizzled out didn't they and look at the Multi Culti Socialist mess that is Spain.
About halfway through the film crew were following a protest group of niqab clad brides of satan who were on their way to paddington green police station.These were the same brides of satan from the famous photo with a banner saying"British police go to hell"
Anyway as they passed one pub there was a white native shouting..."Heathrows that way..keep going"
This is the real view of the people of my country so why didn't the film crew choose to stop and interview him?
Why is it every documentary made about jihadis is an exercise in trying to "understand" the "root" causes and is just a grievence fest..
Why don't they make a documentary about the seething anger and dark underbelly of resentment 99% of the indeginous population feel towards the hostile fith column that has,out of a mixture of fear,intimidation and downright dereliction of duty been allowed to take hold here?
Give me some tasty cameras and a fat expense budget and i'll make it..
