BAGHDAD - A booby-trapped bicycle exploded near a cafe serving tea and food during Ramadan fasting hours Sunday, killing at least five people in a religiously mixed area in northern Iraq, police said.

Two of the slain victims were in the cafe, while three were in the market, police chief Capt. Abbas Mohammed said. He also said 19 people were wounded.

In any other system of belief that one could care to mention, an auspicious day or days are celebrated by giving of alms, asking and granting forgiveness for any trespass caused and generally being a good egg.
But not in islam, for under its intoxication, the holy days are celebrated by killings and beheadings.

But if you kill the enemy during Ramadan, that staircase turns into a heavenly elevator, and the ascent is smooth as you glide up with a satisfying whoosh. Outside of Ramadan, you have to take the stairs.

I'm old enough to remember when some state and local governments had "blue laws" where certain things could not open. Movie theaters and most retail outlets were closed on Sunday. There was a lot of debate and gnashing of teeth as these laws were struck down over the years during the early 50s.
The point is; not one theater, bowling alley, or dime store was bombed during that time. My mother was criticized by our holy roller neighbors for letting us go to movies on Sunday, but we weren't ever shot at.
Later, in the 1960s in the next county, legal liquor was passed, nobody died from bombs or bullets. Separation of church and state is a christian doctrine (render unto Caesar); it took a long time for that to really become a reality. Christians may be able to accept secular government, but Muslims never, never will.
I find it increasingly interesting that believers in Allah feel that Allah is so weak and pathetic that THEY must step in as surrogates to enforce Allah's laws. Any deity worth its salt should be able to do what is adequate and necessary for itself, wouldn't you think?
If someone eats when they should not eat according to Allah's law, can't Allah do anyting about it? Surely they will be adequately punished for an eternity in the afterlife. What is the point of trying to rush the judgement ahead of time? 20 or even 100 more years is a small time as compared to only 1000 years let alone an eternity, thousands of thousands of years thousands of times over. (Um, (10^6)^1000 is even a short time compared to eternity. But maybe by then all the protons will have decayed....)

When Army scouts in Iraq spotted two men planting a roadside bomb Sept. 1, they called in a nearby Hunter unmanned aircraft, which dropped a laser-guided bomb and killed the two men.
“We had the first confirmed use of an Army weaponized UAV,” said Col. Don Hazelwood, project manager for Army Unmanned Aircraft Systems at Redstone Arsenal, Ala.
The Army is mounting precision-guided weapons on hundreds of unmanned aerial vehicles in Iraq and Afghanistan, Hazelwood said.
The MQ-5B Hunter will carry the laser-guided GBU-44/B Viper Strike, a 42-pound glide bomb with a one-yard wingspan that can strike within one meter of its aim point."
