CAIR rep refers to Americans in Iraq as "Crusaders"

Adopting Al-Qaeda's terminology.

I just love it how he blames America yet nary a hint of culpability for IRAN, SYRIA, SAUDI ARABIA for contributing to the 'civil war' that he says 'America created'.

America went there to overthrow Saddam Hussein. We don't care about killing anyone and want more than anyone for Iraq to be successful. If Iran, Syria, Saudi Arabians, and Al Qaeda left Iraqis alone and stopped shooting at the Americans who went there to free Arabs and Muslims from an oppressive secular dictator, there would be no war.

We aren't the Crusaders. . . it is the Arab neighbors of Iraq who are the Jihadis. It's too bad he hates America (though he says 'us Americans') too much to see the good we are trying to do in spite of the bad intentions that the jihadis are doing.

Another Muhammedan agit-prop behind enemy lines.

Here is the latest from the Brussels demo:

"Americans against Hate" -- LOL. Now who does that remind me of?

Listen up, folks. We have a wave of intolerance and thought-policing masquerading as lambs in this nation of ours and it's time to stop accepting it. The Leftofascists are clearly aligned with the Islamofascists.

So, let me just say that if those people believe that I'm a "hater" and "Crusader" for having the audacity to actually stand up to Islam because I know it is a militant ideology based on hateful rhetoric and lies, well, so be it.

I AM A CRUSADER.

Bring it!

So what does CAIR call the Iraqis fighting with the Americans, I mean Crusaders?

They call us crusaders, I call them invaders. But as usual they are identical to what they accuse others of being, they are both crusaders and invaders. Who is on a crusade to spread their ideology worldwide? Them. Who is trying to change any place they go into a islamist invader paravice? Them. Are we building Churches or Synagogues in Iraq? No. Are we handing out Bibles there? Heck no. Are any Americans in Iraq marching in secular unity? Nope. Are they marching in islamist unity here? Yep. So do the math it is easy 1+1 equals 2 or crusader plus invader equals islamist.

OT/ but related to the Stop the Islamicization of Europe march in Brussels on 9/11 for those in the US inclined to attend

USAirways is having a fare sale on its e-savers from numerous US cities with fares ranging from $270 (LaGuardia) to $410 (LA and San Francisco)

I'd like to think that it was done to poke the islamists...weren't the frying imams on a USAirways flight? he he he

A military uniform’s principle purpose is to protect non-combatants. Throughout history, and even up to two generations ago when the latest Geneva Convention was drawn up, it must have been thought that if a mass of humanity was shooting at you, that mass of humanity was fair game.

At some point, the West will defend itself. Islam is trying to draw us all back into the Dark Ages.

Well, folks

to the extent that WE Americans are represented by that Idiot-In-Chief, George Almighty Bush, and follow him into the Middle East on this crazy invasion of Iraq, and the hopelessly stupid humanitarian efforts underway in Afghanistan, then yes, unfortunately, we might as well take the insults that are being hurled at us.

King George XLIII is in fact a CRUSADER! And to the extent that our Army is at his disposal, yes we are crusaders. Dumb ass crusaders, tilting at windmills. Complete fools.

Brainless Bush has led our beautiful men and women overseas into the greatest foreign policy debacle in the history of the Republic!!!!!

To the extent that we willy nilly invade other countries so George ibn Bush can call himself a war president and get a re-election on the cheap, then yeah, we are crusaders.

It's a goddamned stupid crusade. It makes no sense. Screw the goddamned muhammadans. I say let them rot in their own crap. But Bush thinks Islam is a religion of peace, he thinks muhammadans are composed of normal moms and dads who just want their kids to all get along and play soccer.

Crusader, all right. Completely foolish crusaders.

Our Idiot-In-Chief is a megolomaniac. Everything he touches turns to caca!

I have a hippie friend. She lives out in the boonies, in "Deliverance" country. Banjos and meth. She called the Iraq invasion a major disaster back in '03 when everyone else supported Bushman.

Long story short:

"Yankee," she said, "what do you think we would do to Iraqi invading soldiers if they came here, to this neck of the woods, and we got our hands of them."

Ynke, the difference is the CAIR guy is ostensibly a US resident at least.

It'd be like, under your example, an iraqi writer calling the invading iraqi soldiers islamic hordes.

"America went there to overthrow Saddam Hussein. We don't care about killing anyone and want more than anyone for Iraq to be successful."

But face it. That was not the excuse given at the time. Had you said so then, the question of why this mediocre dictator, and how many others will you judge unfit, and how do you decide which country's rulers to overthrow? would have been discussed. Libya has a far worse dictator, why not go get him? It suited America's purpose to invade, and that purpose was NOT to spread sweetness and light all around.
Don't care about killing anyone? So the million dead Iraqis killed exclusively by Americans doesn't seem a bit careless then?
If you want a country to be successful the best way to do it is to refrain from crippling its economy, smashing up its infrastructure, murdering its citizens and imposing your own rule. If America cared about Iraq's success, why has it smashed it up and made it so much less successful than before??

@eve

If the Iraqis invaded the USA and an Iraqi writer (living in Iraq) condemned the US invasion by Iraq, that Iraqi writer would, in my opinion, be a very enlightened individual and I would admire him.

Going into Iraq was not a mistake. No knocking heads even harder than we have and bringing things into order has been.

Being in Iraq is the means to launching strikes against Iran, Syria and eventually, Saudi Arabia.

Some of you are particularly dense.

I think my joke was taken seriously, so nevermind. :)

Notice the Syrians did not have the stones to scramble aircraft at the "intrusion."

Smart move - aircraft are expensive. Pilots are hard to come by.

Better to chatter like little girls after the fact.

OT, forget about the ME check this out, frying islamists reciting their final prayers on board, a ok. American woman, No dice! Why don’t they just change their name to middleast airlines? Southwest, Northwest, Middleast who cares, I would rather crawl to my destination right now. Boy do I miss PSA those were the days, the large plush seats, plenty to eat, friendly personnel, no cavity searches, actually no searches at all, not even so much as a first look. There were no lines and a slim to none chance of an islamist splodeydope/crumbakazi being on board to slit the stewardesses throats. I better stop, my heart is breaking.
Saudi air er Southwest air, it’s not your fathers airline.
http://ace.mu.nu/archives/239491.php
Take em to court and deliver a death blow to that airline legally while she is there, that’s my advise, the only thing they understand is money.

From the GOP Debate last night...

ROMNEY: People who are wiling to put their life on the line for American freedom are in a league of their own, and we owe them our respect. And the sacrifice they make is something we'll never forget.

The issue that I think -- Congressman Tancredo hit the nail on the head. This is not about broken pottery and it's also not about just getting out because we made a mistake. This is a global conflict going on, radical violent jihad. This effort ranges from Indonesia to Nigeria, and through Europe into America.

And this battlefield of Iraq is a place where we have to be successful because the consequences of what will happen on this global battlefield are enormous.

And that's why it's so important for us to be successful with the surge. And I agree, it looks successful. I certainly hope it's going to be fully successful. And as we are able to do that, we're going to see ourselves able to continue in our efforts to overwhelm jihad.

The key is this: We need a global strategy -- and on my Web site you'll see it -- a global strategy to help us overcome jihad globally because this is the threat which faces the entire civilized world.

Atleast the GOP gets it. Let the new crusades begin...this time lets finish the job.

"But face it. That was not the excuse given at the time. Had you said so then, the question of why this mediocre dictator, and how many others will you judge unfit, and how do you decide which country's rulers to overthrow?"

The answer to that is that this dictator was a threat to his neighbors. If a dictator is a threat to his neighbors, we should take him out. Libya, Venezuela, Cuba are all dictators but aren't a threat. Iran is becoming a threat, and we are fixin to do something about it.

This Iraq War is an extension of the first Iraq War when we liberated Kuwait. The ceasefire was based on conditions that Hussein was not following. We should have done this after the first war and we would not have had to do it again.

Actually in my opinion, the real reason for this war was the protection of the state of Israel. If that reason was given to the public, everyone would have been really mad. Hussein was paying suicide bombers in Palestine. He was trying to get WMD's which I believe he had but we didn't find. The state department would rather you believe it is a 'war for oil', or 'haliburton', or 'crusade', than defense of the state of Israel.

The answer is we need to act as soon as a country becomes a threat. Why did we fight Germany when they didn't attack us? Because they were a threat to their neighbors (and an ally of Japan who did attack us - but we could have just fought Japan).

"Being in Iraq is the means to launching strikes against Iran, Syria and eventually, Saudi Arabia."

We know. We all know. The whole world knows that America is the aggressor. What I don't understand is how its citizens can condone it.

Ynkedoodl2-

Iraq is about 14 civil wars all waiting to happen - some of them including shiite against shiite, al qaeda against native sunni, sunni against shiite, already happening.

I'm sure Maliki, one of the great leaders of modern times can by his incredible statesmanship and force of character pull them all together into one united 'Iraq'. At least Bush, one of the foremost experts on Islam and the Middle East believes so.

"We know. We all know. The whole world knows that America is the aggressor. What I don't understand is how its citizens can condone it."

America is the aggressor?

LOL.

We are mere shadows of our forefathers. Wake up.

Islam is going to turn your grandchildren into Muslims if people continue to act like sheep.

Bah! Bah! Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

God help us, this country is saturated with defeatists.

ThackerAgency,
Are you familiar with the fact that shortly after Pearl Hitler openly declared war on us? Are you aware that if we had fought only Japan that by 45, Hitler’s Admirals and Generals target date for complete rearmament and global conquest, rearmament with advanced weapons that could have conquered the world, that it quite possibly would have gone the other way? Hitler inexplicably declaring war on us, divine intervention or stupid mistake?

Clear cut case for sedition.

Maryam. Yes, I thought before it started that we should just go in and destroy infrastructure...every bridge, dam, powerplant and larger factories. Give the citizens of Bagdad a week to vacate and then burn it to a cinder as we did Dresden. No more capacity to make WMDs. I don't care who's in charge after that. As for it being a platform for the destruction of Saudi Arabia (where we should have started to begin with) and Iran...well that is the only good reason that I can think of for continuing our present course. We didn't start this, remember? Unfortunately you're wrong and we're not doing any of what you claim. Make sure your daughter understands the importance of chastity, darlin'. Lest she loose her head if people like you and Islam win this war. True Islam is an abomination. We need a Crusade, not the "islam is a religion of peace" pablum that we're currently getting.

Anybody that thinks 880 Billion dollars wasted on a "bring democracy to the Muslims in Iraq" project is a good idea is more than dense. The person is an idiot.

Saddam Hussein was the best friend we could have asked for. He was the enemy of our real enemy: Iran. By now, that Don Corleone admiring man, would have invaded Iran.

Instead we are pinned down, bayed on all sides by mutually antagonistic enemies and we have no way to exit.

Bush is a self-serving ass-clown.

Somwone asked him if he wasn't afraid on Sunni versus Shiite violence and he said "I thought they were all Muslim."

He also said, when asked if he was concerned about casualties: "Maybe there will be no casualties!"

Bush is a delusional crackpot. He has worsened our security situation immeasurably. He was just outed in another lie, when he said disbanding Iraq's army was not the plan. Bullshit. And Paul Bremer proved him---proved---him a liar by showing the letter he wrote him.

Bush is a liar!

We shouldn't have to attack Iran. We had a human Rottweiler in the neighborhood to do it for us. But we euthanized it. All so Georgie Boy could get re-elected.

"God help us, this country is saturated with defeatists.

...or Muslims....

Though I don't necessarily agree with going into Iraq in the first place, I think the whole motivation was to show the middle east the power of the US military by overthrowing an odious dictator with arguably the best military in the middle east and winning, in what, 3 weeks.

it looks successful. I certainly hope it's going to be fully successful.

WE WON?

Sure, just like we won in Vietnam!

No, we lost. Bigtime!! And we're still getting our asses kicked while we hide out in the Green Zone. George Bush couldn't even land in Baghdad.

We won?
We handed the country over to Iran and its proxies!
That's called "winning"?

We squandered 880 billion dollars--more than any war in history except WWII--and we're still not done squandering...

And that's called winning?

What exactly did we win?

The only winner was George Bush on election day.

FOEHAMMER Im with you

TODAY

I'M A CRUSADER too a Byzantine Crusader myself since I had relatives in Constantinople. Bring it on you Islamic bigots

I had to laugh when I saw this CAIR statement today-- CAIR just keeps digging a deeper grave for itself.

“someone complained” by: Josephine
Presbyterians?
You are welcome.

Oh, I forgot, we found Hussein's weapons of Mass Destruction and got rid of them all. Me bad.

If you bothered to actually figure out the context of why Romney said "it looks successful. I certainly hope it's going to be fully successful"...it was about the latest surge action, but also said to wait for the offical report.

But you are probably too busy lathering up to another foaming at the mouth Bush-is-a-delusional-crackpot rant. I'll give you credit, that sounds a little more mature than a 2 year old...

Yeah, the surge
Mission accomplished
More blood for the bloody muhammadans
More money
More weaponry for Abbas and the Palestinians and Saudi Arabia.
Let's build them schools.
Train their militias!
Here, here for the Supreme Council of Islamic Revolution--our allies!!!!!
Give them soccer balls.
Democracy for everyone!!!
More jizya

Democracy on the way!!!

"Oh, I forgot, we found Hussein's weapons of Mass Destruction and got rid of them all. Me bad."

We know where Iran's are. How do you propose to do anything about those from the safety of armchairs in the USA? Feet on the ground in Iraq and Afghanistan is why we are now in a position to protect lives by stopping Islamic Bombs.

Again, oversimplification of issues to save one's own fattening fat is only serving the enemy. But then, we have plenty of enemies living right among us nowadays, so I'm hardly shocked.

Baaaaaaaaah.

This CAIR rep is preaching to his target audience using catchphrases and rallying points to further his Islamist cause.

It's all propaganda and cliches. Just look at the links (anti-Israel, "traveling while Muslim".)

The good news is that fewer and fewer people are buying CAIR's baloney.

(He'd better not visit Iran with that devilish Western hairstyle. Those shades are kinda Western looking, too. And that cool black t-shirt...)

When we attack Iran--the sooner the better--it will be with Intercontinental Missiles with the help of Israel.

No boots on the ground necessary.

It's a pity that Iran isn't right this minute being threatened or invaded (again!) by Saddam.

Being pinned down in Iraq trying to make nicey-nice with the muhammadans is a strategic setback for the USA.

Naive to think that missiles will be enough to take out Iran. Iran is not Iraq or Afghanistan. It's far better equipped and has Russian and Chinese support. FEET ON THE GROUND where the USA controls operations surrounding Iran means artillery, airbases, recon and yes, if necessary and in our vital interests, ground invasion options.

It might be nice to believe that wars can be fought with robots and missiles and aircraft alone and hope for victory, but that's living in a fantasy.

Persia deserves to be free one day. Persians are not Arab Muslims. Most of Persia wants to be a true democracy based on the U.S. Constitution and seeks to toss off the shackles of the oppressive imams and the nut Ahmadinejad and his evil Ayotollah leash-holder.

People are so quick to try to preserve the semblance/illusion of peace and prosperity for as long as possible, but when the next series of attacks rocks the West, what excuses will you come up with then. Wise men and women know full well that Islam isn't going to stop coming after our societies, so we choose to form up ranks and fight back NOW. Waiting and sniveling and hand-wringing and quixotic wishes just play right into the aims of our Islamist enemies.

We are in a state of world war! What else do you not understand?!

Okay, so overthrowing a "mediocre dictator" means what? The WMD was legal cover by the State Dept to be the "reason to justify (to the UN) our invasion of a two-bit dictator who deserved everything he got in the end. So the US only goes after dictators if they are not "mediocre?" I guess Milosevic was not a mediocre dictator?
Is this the same reasoning from the crowd that argues for US intervention into Sudan and Darfur? We should have gone into Iran back in 1979 but didn't and now, well, we got a truly mediocre dictator strutting his stuff on the world stage all while his country still engages in "legal" activities from the 7th century, ya know, honor killings and such.
I fault Bush Rumsfeld, Bremer, etc for not being ruthless enough in taking it to the jihadists, Baathists, etc in Iraq. Okay, so the other argument is let the various Muslims sects fight each other and not us, and so how does that explain 9/11? I'm sure the (mediocre) dictators of Iran, Syria, Zimbabwe, etc were all too happy to see those planes strike the Towers and the Pentagon, sunni or shia or whatever the sect of Atta and company. These people, i.e., Muslims, hate us and I for one do not agree with sitting on the side lines hoping that all the Muslims will just turn their homicidal energies on each other. They haven't managed to wipe each other in the past 1000 years, so why should they start now?

In 1972 the islamists reared their ugly heads on a worldwide stage, the Olympics. What did the world do, it took time out and then before the bodies were cold went back to playing with their balls, running, jumping, swimming, biking, yeah, behaving like kids! The freight train is rolling fast we are forty years too late, we need to go forward not whine about the past. We all know the mistakes it wont change the past, the old saying, if you snooze you lose holds true. We snoozed and we will lose a lot more before this is all over. So lets not recite the amount of money we have spent in Iraq, how much did we lose on one day in September? How much will we lose when the atomic weapon explodes one or more of our cities? Show me a path forward I’m not walking in circles any more, I no longer watch kids games, the time for action was ignored and we will all pay the butcher’s bill for that mistake.

@Foehammer
We're losing in Afghanistan. We've lost in Iraq (having handed the country over to Iranian proxies) and now you want to invade Iran?

How many invasions should we undertake (all by ourselves) at the same time?

Maybe we should invade China and Russia while we're at it.

http://affadshaikh.blogspot.com/2007/09/irritating-spencer.html

ThackerAgency, read what Tgusa wrote: Hitler/Germany did in fact declar war on the US. Get your brain out of neutral before posting nonsense.

Ynkedoodl2, we just may have to invade or otherwise flatten a whole lot of countries before this is over. Get ready it's coming. There is a global conflagration in the future, it will happen whether or not Iraq and Afghanistan were invaded. Islam has too much of a head of steam for it not to happen. When it is all over, the living may envy the dead. A massive air strike will be launched on Iran when it becomes obvious that they have a deliverable nuclear weapon. As much as you admire Saddam, he could not stop the Iranian nuclear program. The Iranians would just be a lot quieter about it.

In 45 all but a few death camps would have been shut down having no more Jews left to kill. The ME 262 jetfighter produced in huge numbers due to the nonexistence of an Allied bombing campaign on German factories would have made short work of the USAAF in 45. the Battle of the North Atlantic would have been lost as well due to the absence of that bombing campaign Hitler’s Navy would have had 500+ U-boats to fight us to choke off Britain and the world. As it was it was hardly a cake walk, no one saw the dead they disappeared into the Atlantic but it was fierce and there were months that it looked like we were losing, because we were. Only through the sheer bravery of the men who manned the merchant ships and the aircraft did we prevail at all. You see, the Allied bombing campaign combined with the battle of the Atlantic made everything else possible.

"Crusader" - What a compliment!

Yes, I'm a Crusader! I definitely want to stop Muslim expansion into Europe and the United States!

"Crusader!" - Thank You! I'm PROUD to be one!

Oh, and "Islamophobe," - that's a compliment, too! Thanks again!

No problem Josephine.

So I hope we have sorted out just how significant Hitler declaring war on the USA was. Pearl gets all the credit for waking America but militarily it was of little significance. Now if they had landed and taken Hawaii, after all it was ripe for the taking, that would be another story. Two military blunders Pearl and Hitler’s declaration of war on the USA. In hindsight Hitler wins the prize for greatest military blunder of all time. Strangely, we owe him sort of a debt of gratitude for our winning of the war. It is not easy to plot the course of history in advance but for every action or inaction there are consequences.
