Spencer, put it up quick before Al Waleed calls Murdoch and has it changed to 'youths' or 'insurgents'- they actually call them 'Islamic Terrorists' now:

Just listened to the Irish station. Overall, I think the balance of the discussion was positive. However, the Sheik's last comment was something along the lines of "it is hard to work against the violent aspects of Islam because of people like Robert Spencer". Of Course!

He and Daniel Pipes (who he also mentioned as inciting jihad) are preventing so-called moderate muslims from stoping it! What a JOKE. The Sheik is either a fool or is being deceptive. To me, at least, he sounds like no idiot so I can't but think it's the latter.

Yes, Robert Spencer's work promotes the jihad. If he'd just stop writing it'd all stop!

Thinking about it more, why is it that Islamic spokespersons, so-called moderates, claim that it is BECAUSE of non-muslims like Robert speaking out and explaining the Jihad ideology, that these same people are 'creating the environment' for Jihad violence.

First, Robert doesn't preach at any mosque I know of. He doesn't go on Al-Jazeera or any other Muslim dominated media. He doesn't directly speak to many Muslims groups either becuase they wouldn't want him.

Yet, nonsensically Muslims turn around and blame ROBERT for Jihad violence. Why? It's not logical. He inculcates, explains, teaches nothing to Muslims in the places Muslims inculcate, explain and teach Islamic doctrines. Wouldn't the responsibility for Muslim actions fall on Muslims?

Muslims like I just heard on the radio are in a sense saying that if more non-muslims understand what is driving jihad and wish to confront it, the more Jihad will be forced upon us.

It seems clear to me what these Islamic spokespersons, often so-called moderates, are saying.

"There's an easy way (submission) and there's a hard way (jihad). The first is preferable but either works."

These 'moderate' Sheiks are saying this basically.
