A few pictures from yesterday's United American Muslim Day Parade in New York City, with thanks to Urban Infidel and LGF. Much more at Atlas Shrugs.
Everyone loves a parade.

This "Atlas Shrugs" is a pretty good looking and shapely lady. Cover-up me arse. She's very shapely. Lovely body. I mean that.

On a separate matter: One thing that strikes me about Muslim dominated countries is how ethnically homogeneous they are (and that is especially true for Arab countries). America is ethnically pluralistic; Muslim countries are not ethnically pluralistic. In America a Saudi Arabian will have to treat a non Arab Muslim (a Negro African, e.g.) as an equal-but that will not be the case (especially with large numbers of non-Arabs)in Saudi Arabia.
Islam produces a dishonest culture. It's cold bagels.
Well Mo and Co are certainly spelling it out for us. Can't say we've not been repeatedly being warned. It beggars belief.
Hello everyone!
Thanks for linking my photos. I had an internet outage last night and there is SO MUCH MORE to my coverage.
So please stand by and everything will be up this morning very shortly.
Many thanks! Urban Infidel
That Apostate poster is enough to throw every one of those seditionist a**holes out of the country right now.
It is outrageous that the US allows people like this to publicly exercise sedition and deny the Holocaust. There are and should be limits to free speech within a civilised society in order to protect itself. Right and wrong actually exist. Is it not against the law to deny or trivialise the Holocaust in the US? I live in Europe and this is a punishable crime in several countries here.
No coverage of this on network and cable to be found...
I liked the al-qaeda t-shirt until I saw the back. The shapely lady and her printer don't know a contraction (you're) from a pronoun (their).
But I'm glad someone was there to fight the good fight. And, yes, why does America always extend constituional liberties to seditionists? Hopefully this was a way to get a bead on these God and country haters in the daylight.
Wow. Watching that video was chilling.
I remember when I lived in NYC for a few years. Nothing like this ever occurred.
I sure hope the 2008 Protest Warrior thing will happen in D.C. I'll definitely go to that and hold up a big sign! How about: "Islamists Go Home!"
Johndoe
I agree. Some of these people should be arrested, and not just because of the holocaust.
They really don't seem to want to be Americans, so they should leave, or be made to leave.
The sight of them in their muslim/middle ages costumes is revolting.
And to do this so close to 9/11, let alone Jewish New Year on Sept.12th makes it so much worse. Absolute chutzpah!
Yeah, Cap Gig, I was disappointed to see the "Your" on the tee shirt instead of "You're," and "there" instead of "their." Ah well...nothing's perfect, right?
The MOST important thing about yesterday in Manhattan was the Protesters against Islam, not correct usage. Anyone know about how many Protesters were there?
I always grace my car on 9/11 with a sign to comemmorate the event. Atlas has some good ones. I like 'What Would Muhammed Do' flanked by photos of the Twin Towers burning and a beheading.
9/11 Event at local Catholic school--mass, prayer service and rememberance.
9/11 Event at local public school--"unity" gathering and "overcoming our differences."
Gramfan, that they did this 2 days before 9/11 makes my blood boil. Could Bloomberg have done anything to stop this SHAMEFUL display? My GOD, why are we tolerating the Barbarians???
darcy
We tolerate it because we are better than they are.
But if we keep this tactic up we won't last.
The gloves have to come off. I can't think of another option. Bin Laden takes this as weakness and surely they all agree with him.
It was his tactic to use our laws against us. And it works.
Cap Gig - you can "grace your car" concerning 9/11 365 days a year: Go to Crusaderguy (cafepress) and order a "Remember 9/11" sticker for your vehicle. It has a plane flying into the Towers as the design. It's oval-shaped, and been on the back of my l'il suv for months and months now!
I have also ordered "Bring Back The Crusades" tee-shirts from Crusaderguy and "Remember 9/11" buttons as well. The sweatshirt is great - I know you want these products! Go to Crusaderguy and order!
I'm going to try and find the link.
Anybody who couldn't read that sign on the bottom pick, and sees nothing wrong, is either a Muslim or a USA hating liberal. There lies the main infatuation between this odd couple...they both realize the strength of the United States is the power standing in their way to global Sharia [for the Muslims] and the Utopian One world global village. The USA leads the way in ideals pride & patriotism of the Nation state...the mutual enemy of Islam and far left liberalism.
I don't live in NYC, but if I did I would have turned out and confronted these knuckle-dragging apes of allah.
Honestly, I don't know how I could have restrained myself and avoided arrest for causing a melee.
How would I have insulted these muhammadan retards?
o, let me count the ways
Here's Crusaderguy, Cap Gig and all others:
Update:
Most of my report and slide shows are up now. Please feel free to stop in and check see how the Infidel Wandered Into the Tent and 'stopped the opening prayer.'
Urban Infidel
darcy,
That web site is great. I especially liked the 'Allah is running out of Virgins.'
The timimg of this parade (!) was extremely provocative. And people can stop saying, "Oh, it's going to take another 9/11 before we GET IT." It hurts because it's true. It hurts because maybe we still won't get it.
Anyone going to Islamo-Fascism week? Two ranked universities (#11 & #91) in town are both in. I can't wait to tour the prayer rooms.
I have to wonder if anyone thought about screening these muslim paraders for explosive vests. Probably not, it would've hurt their feelings too much, and you know there's nothing more dangerous than a muzzie with hurt feelings. Hmmmmm, did they have any Floats????
Urban Infidel
Congratulations on great shots. Were the prayers verbalized? In English-guess not. It looked like the police were protecting their rights to ask Allah for our destruction.
Yes, Cap Gig, it's an excellent website with very good products.
Here's the IFAW link:
#11 is Dartmouth and #91 is Boise State?
No, the national ranking according to IBD, I think. Washington University (!!) and Saint Louis University (91). SLU (Jesuit) put in prayer rooms, and Wash U invited Ward Churcill to speak. That's why I am so surprised they'll have Islamo Fascism anything.
I can't get over how many of these nut jobs are in the U.S.
Perhaps we are better people than they are, but do we have to tolerate such open expressions of hate and rebellion? We let you into this country and practice your warped ideology under our (misguided) perception that it is a religion. And nothing more. No parades, no protests in the streets, nothing. Go to work, go to your mosque and be quiet or leave.
Isn't that first pic a Canadian voter?
johndoe:
I disagree with your saying that denial of the Holocaust should be illegal. As much as I detest people who are anti Semitic and who LIE about history, it'd be a violation of their first amendment rights to shut them up.
Germany's laws against denying the Holocaust is a case of Big Brother denying freedom of speech. It's a slippery slope: if you muzzle someone's right to speak, you will end up muzzling your own.
Let the bastards say all they want. It might wake up some people who are completely clueless.
Regarding the "parade", I was disappointed to hear that a counter protest by Americans Against Hate had only 20 people attend. That's pathetic. That means that only 20 people in the entire eastern seaboard had the gumption to go out there and protest against these Islamofascists?
We're in deep trouble in this country.
My keywords for this Muslim day parade and Muslims in general:
- false prophet
- lamers
- Muslim occupation of infidel nations
- cognitive dissonance
- charlatan Muhammad
- slaves to their passions
- lacking intellect
- logic not a requirement
- souls adrift
- in desperate search for an anchor
- left behind in a fast changing world
- Jihad conquest by outbreeding natives
I agree, atheling. Twenty people to stand up for America? What's the problem here? Mayor Bloomberg's comments about why he let the parade go on apparently speak for many.
"Mayor Michael Bloomberg says tomorrow's American Muslim Day parade will proceed, despite protests.
City Hall has been inundated with complaints stemming from an internet campaign against the 22nd annual parade.
Protestors claim the parade is a threat to national security, and that holding it so close to September 11th is disrespectful.
Bloomberg says the terror attacks should not reflect on all Muslims, who he calls a vital part of the city."
The muslims holding the signs "Apostates: the enemies within" and "The Holocaust was a Hoax," are they the "vital part of the city he is referring to?" Is this not hate speech? What if a parade was held with banners saying: "Muslims: the enemies within." Think that would not be banned as hate speech? Do you think the muslims could get more than 20 counter protesters? Do you think Bloomberg would listen to them?
America needs to get a grip. Doesn't look like that is happening.
Wow, there were only 20 Counter-Protesters in all of Manhattan? My, my, that really stinks.
The guy and gal on Atlas Shrugs are brave souls. I hope he gets his way - and stops this garbage parade in the years to come.
Or, how about setting up a rib stand on every corner - ribs and corn on the cob - hhhmmmm.
And it is about time a woman brought out the fact that the 'burka babes' is NOT liberation.
Can Bloomberg be considered a Jewish dhimmi for allowing the seditious Mohammedans to ply their evil trade right out on the streets of NYC, 2 whole days before the 6th anniversary of 9/11?
Situational awareness is not Islam’s strength.
CapitalistGig,
They only prayed in Arabic. The entire march all they said was 'allahu ackbar' and 'East to West Islam is the best.'
Regarding the low number of protesters, in my experience most New Yorkers are in a coma. Some of the protesters came from Kansas, Boston and Florida.
Wow only 20 people in the counter protest, I hope the SIOE demonstration goes better tomorrow.
"Everyone loves a parade"
...
but not a freak parade. :p
How 'bout "East to West Islam is the WORST!"
Hey - it's not a perfect rhyme, but it IS the perfect truth, n'est-ce pas?
Amazing....are these female Muslims sooooo stupid that they can't comprehend the irony of having the Liberties to mock the USA and protest in public which they could never do in the utopia of Saudi Arabia .
First off they couldn't leave their home without a male escort , they couldn't drive to the protest or drive at all , they couldn't wear make-up or get away with a mere Hijab that America allows them to wear, no talking to unrelated males , and it's illegal in America to beat-up a female under the guise of Religious Rights like Sharia law.
Reason # 1'200'000'000 for why I will never bow down to a Pedophile/Terrorists like Muhammad and his sick and twisted father in Paradise who has a Harem of sluts waiting for mass murderers who kill God's children on his behalf .
johndoe
The United States is a free country so we don't arrest people for their words and thoughts.
We need more free speech in this country not less.
So when is the United Infidel Pride Parade?
Or at the very least the United Jewish Pride Parade.
How would Mayor Bloomberg respond to that request?
And more importantly, how would he respond to the islamaphobia and racist complaints from CAIR?
GuitarBob,
.. just as we need more immigrants (doesnt matter of illegal) not less?
Doesn't anybody sell eggs and tomatoes in NYC?
darcy-
WEST TO EAST, ISLAM IS THE LEAST.
Hard to believe these killers will die of old in a land they have invaded and are working to destroy.
They really don't seem to want to be Americans, so they should leave, or be made to leave.
They're here to take over and implement Sharia. Clearly our government's policy is to aid and abet them in destroying the Constitution and eradicating freedom and liberty.
So who's gonna make 'em leave?
The entire march all they said was 'allahu ackbar' and 'East to West Islam is the best.'
Our God is better than your god is a verbal agression, an assault. This is why I wrinkled my brow when President Alfred E. Newman of the USA declared Islam to be a "religion of peace" and former UK Prime Minister Oxford of the UK proclaimed Islam "progressive."
Did Mohammad really use the word 'Nationalism'?
Where do I find this, Bukhari?
Americans were too busy with football yesterday to pay any mind to this. When D-Day arrives, we'll be on ebay or watching Oprah.
If I lived near NYC, I'd like'd to have walked about tossing pork rinds in the air and trying to catch them in my mouth. I'm really bad at that sort of thing--the pork rinds would be falling all over.
In the second poster above, 5 of the leaders - Abdullah (KSA), Musharraf, Karzai, Mubarak and Abudllah (Jordan) are demonstrated as 'apostates' by being shown with Bush; in the case of Khaleda Zia of Bangladesh, apparently, no such demonstration was needed.
What was it that Mohammedan taquiyya artists were telling us again about Pakistan, Bangladesh and Indonesia being more advanced in women's rights by having female heads of state? The Islamic Thinkers' society apparently glossed over this small detail.
Does anyone think that the anti-islamification march in Brussels will be as peaceful as this one?
Darcy wrote:

If you think this is bad, just wait until 2011, when the parade takes place on 9/11 itself. Another poster (sorry, can't remember who, now) wrote that this parade used to take place earlier in the month, then was moved to the second Sunday in September. Was this to more closely coincide with 9/11? Even if no link can be proven, it is still a slap in the face.
Meanwhile, out here in my neck of the woods, we had the second annual "Muslim Unity Day" at Great America amusement park near San Jose. Here's a glowing article about last year's big fun:
http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2006/08/28/BAGS7KQE8S1.DTL
The irony of holding an event like this at a place called "Great America" needs no further comment.
old fogey, I think the anti-islamisation of Europe march in Brussels has been banned by.....the muslim mayor of Brussels.
That's from memory, I stand to be corrected if someone checks.
Celsius;
They said they were going to march anyway. Interesting that the media has totaly ignored the event. I'm waiting to see what happens.
They did not do a good job advertising it. I live in NYC and heard nothing about it until i checked LGF and Jihadwatch.org.
Shit, they did not even jam up traffic, how much of a parade could it be. The should have held it the same time as the Israeli Day parade. That would have been interesting. Of course, i don't think the muslims would get a permit to hold a parade on the same day as the Israeli Day parade.
Celsius;
By the way, the mayor's reason for banning the Brussels march was that he couldn't guarantee the safety of the marchers. Tell you anything?
The woman in black looks like she's ready for Halloween as the Queen of Death. Muslims really do have an eye for fashion and a great sense of timing; how thoughtful of them to have a parade on the anniversary of 9/11.
Dancing on the graves of those who died that day shows so much class.
What a collected slap in the face of America, a few days before 9/11 plus six years. All this from the sick person of the world, Islam.
The middle picture is interesting too -- looks like it's from the Islamic Thinkers Society. This is their idea of thinking? Really. Maybe they need to rethink their thinking by closing down their society -- completely.
Fashion -- Thoughtfulness -- Thinking
Muslims need to stop doing the above for the sake of humanity, because they don't have a CLUE!
I'm outraged. What kind of cotton pickin' world do we live in??? That these people are allowed to hold this event in America is appalling. When are we going to stand up and call a spade a frickin' shovel? It's a desecration of the ground they walk on, I can't imagine having lost a loved one on Sept. 11 and then having to see this. You know, they have no sense of propriety at all. No sense of empathy, compassion or timing. What a great religion. NOT!!!!
If people think this was outrageous just wait a few years. The peaceful ones will march on 9/11 itself and celebrate the atrocity of that day with a joyous festival rivaling anything on the Islamaniac calendar. Just think of Ramadan, only with more riots.
But that's OK, because the authorities allow all this, keep the doors wide open for more of this riffraff to come over and tell us this is the religion of peace.
I remember as a child seeing news coverage of a neo Nazi parade in some small American town. Knowing what the Nazis in Europe did to the Jews, I asked my father why we let them in our country and even have a parade. He explained to me that in America everyone has a right to freedom of speech and freedom to peacefully demonstrate - even bad people. I must have been about 7 or 8 years old then. It was the first time that I really began to understand what it means to have freedom in our country.
What saddens me is that it seems that only the "bad people" are the ones who exercise the demonstration part.
Quote from a poem by William Butler Yeats:
"...the best lack all conviction, while the worst are full of passionate intensity..."
"There hasn't been a strong Muslim American identity formed yet, but it's happening with this younger generation."

A strong Muslim American identity?
POP QUIZ
A strong Muslim American identify is good for non-muhammadan Americans, True or False?
As a matter of fact, I think I'll post the entire poem... it seems to bear some relation to our times, though it was written in 1920:
The Second Coming
Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.
Surely some revelation is at hand;
Surely the Second Coming is at hand.
The Second Coming! Hardly are those words out
When a vast image out of Spiritus Mundi
Troubles my sight: somewhere in sands of the desert
A shape with lion body and the head of a man,
A gaze blank and pitiless as the sun,
Is moving its slow thighs, while all about it
Reel shadows of the indignant desert birds.
The darkness drops again; but now I know
That twenty centuries of stony sleep
Were vexed to nightmare by a rocking cradle,
And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,
Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?
Here's a link to the Islamic Thinkers Society website where they are highlighting this outrageous parade. Warning: this website is not for the faint of heart, or stomach....

I need an antacid.
A parade, huh! One more reason to despise this evil cult Islam.
Evil Knows No Bounds!!

Sorry, johndoe, but as much as I agree with your dusgust at Holocaust deniers, I never want to see those kind of laws in the United States. When you limit the free speech of some in society, you limit your own right to free speech.
Any laws that permit the government to punish or jail a Holocaust denier can be turned on you if you decide to speak out against the threat from Islam. It all gets lumped together as "hate speech."
A year ago on this site, a story was posted about two Protestant Ministers in Australia that were arrested for delivering sermons from their pulpits that were critical of Islam. A Muslim mole was sent to the churches for the specific purpose of monotering the sermons. He disliked what he heard, so filed charges of hate speech.
People who advocate passage of hate speech laws might think they're silencing Holocaust deniers, but, in reality, they only silence themselves and others that might want to tell the truth.
If I deny that there was ever a holocaust, that is clearly hate speech, and punishable under the law.
If I say that Islam is an abomination and scourage on a civilized society, I am only telling the truth, but under the law, it is also hate speech.
I would rather allow the nut cases to freely deny the Holocaust, than to restrict my own right to tell the truth.
The great Voltaire said it best, "I might not agree with what you say, but I'll fight to the death for your right to say it".
WEST TO EAST, ISLAM IS THE LEAST.

Though I hate to agree, I have to -- as reprehensible as holocaust denial is, those sort of laws could be - and have been elsewhere - turned against ALL free speech.

Ohio State is still in 32. and in 73. Is the situation that dire at OSU? Now that they won;t have the Wolverines to worry about this year...
Sorry for yet another post from me, but this parade REALLY rankles me. Read below what the mayor of New York had to say about this parade:
"Mayor Bloomberg Defends Muslim Day Parade:
September 8, 2007
New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg has been bombarded with phone calls, letters and e-mails by a campaign aimed at stopping Sunday's 22nd annual United American Muslim Day Parade.
The Mayor's response: a form letter to the critics in which he noted that Muslims are a 'vital part of our city'. "It would be a terrible mistake for anyone to implicate a whole group of innocent individuals -- no matter what their faith -- with the terrible acts committed on September 11, 2001."
Has the mayor lost his mind?!!!
OK -- so they are a "vital part of our city", so what. Does that mean you discard common sense and decency just because they are a "vital part of our city"? No way!
Hey mayor -- why not have a Veterans Day Parade over at Arlington National Cemetery. No? Well why not?
Is the mayor stupid or scared?
Islamic Thinkers...the name is an oxymorom.
champ-that website actually promotes the islamic rule of the entire world. Check out those photo galleries, all.
And that flag they put on top of the Whitehouse, what is that, someone please tell me.
I hope that idiot Ron Paul was correct when he said "Bush has secret prisons all over the world and is spying on everyone." The Islamic Thinkers Society should be at the top of the list.
I can't call this a parade, it was more of a threat by a bunch of dour faced men wearing medieval dresses.
What we need though to counter parades like this are teams of pig walkers. Basically people who own pigs and happen to walk them in the same vacinity that these medieval thugs hold their march. Imagine the outrage when this occurs.
Or we could throw ham at them.
Some interesting things overlooked...
They ONLY pull this BS in areas where they know there won't be a mass backlash...aka, get their asses kicked in minutes by Americans...only areas where they know they can hide behind the laws they seek to destroy. We only see them in areas of NYC, Chicago, LaLaLand, San Franpsycho, Portland, Seattle...
Forget the fact that the only reason nobody's there to confront them since our people are a little busy with something called A JOB, having to pay into the racket that continues to subsidize their worthless asses...doing it in NYC doesn't impress me.
If they REALLY have half the balls they think they do, let's see them do it in less supportive cities, like St Louis, Ft Worth, Louisville, even here around Modesto...but that won't happen-they know they risk a REAL response from those that will take time off to go down there (most with bosses overlooking their absence) and give them the ass kicking they so desperately need...or worse. Yes...as in getting physical with these neanderthals.
You don't seriously think they do this spontaneously...without checking thoroughly the laws they know they can hide behind without any real effective response from the citizens here?
You get what you tolerate...and they don't have the balls they try to suggest.
CapitalistGig --
Guess the mayor of New York didn't bother to ivestigate what kind of signs would be plastered all over his city at the parade he sanctioned -- signs promoting the Islamic agenda.
All I did to find this "Islamic Thinkers Society" website was to Google their name, and wa-la, there it was.
Makes me wonder how many other Muslims were there promoting different websites with the same agenda: Islamic Rule of the World.
The whole parade and what's happening within our own borders makes me sick to my stomach.
"Oxymoron"....good one! Islamic Thinkers need to find a new gig.
Whenever you see the words Peace or Thinkers alongside Islamic -- think the opposite -- because they have no idea what true peace and real thinking are. None.
That image of the woman all in black, covering also her head and face: it's like something out of a fairy tale vision of evil. A number of aspects of Islam are like that.
jcom:
The parade was on a Sunday. I think there were more than 20 Americans who had off from work that day.
Halloween would have been a more fitting time to celebrate New York's "Witch Parade".
UrbanInfidel should know that a woman or an ass walking in front of praying moslems annuls the prayer.
http://www.irfi.org/questions_answers/women_and_prayer.htm
Seriously! The mayor needs to schedule future PARADES for October 31st -- a time when Ghouls 'N Goblins are expected to be seen roaming the streets.
atheling,
perhaps, but all the more reason then...they're home with family, and these neanderthals didn't even rate a response, thus making them unimportant (a significant status in islam, and it's not good).
Either way, they won't try this in areas where they know they'll get their asses kicked.
“I think the anti-islamisation of Europe march in Brussels has been banned by.....the muslim mayor of Brussels.”
Yes and that is exactly why the first amendment is so important. We may not like what people say but outlawing their speech does nothing. We need to know exactly what they think and believe. The Euros made laws against free speech and now they are the ones who are being silenced, doh, I hate to say I told you so but I told you so. Be careful what you ask for you just might get it.
Ynkedoodl2,
The last muslim fun day that was to be held at an amusement park was canceled, due to a lack of interest. I’m not kidding. http://archive.newsmax.com/archives/ic/2006/8/2/142611.shtml?s=ic
Alert
".. just as we need more immigrants (doesnt matter of illegal) not less?"
That's an absurd statement, how about instead of making ridiculous comparisons you explain exactly why we should get rid of freedom of speech? The first thing listed in the bill of rights is freedom of speech, so the founders certainly realized the importance of it.
Do you honestly think that passing hate crime laws will stop these sorts of parades? That it would stop muslims from denying the holocaust? The muslims are now a victim group, and groups like CAIR know how to play the victim card. The first thing hate speech laws would stop is this website, and you know it.
Even if this was a perfect world and those sorts of double standards would never occur, it would still be a terrible idea.
Why would anyone want to live in a country where they could go to prison for what they say? Isn't that the kind of thing people fight wars to prevent from happening? How could anyone think that is a good thing?
'Atlas Shrugged' is definitely a "hottie!"
But she's- alas- rather tone-deaf! (And that rendition of "God Bless America"...ugh). But it's the thought that counts and I much appreciate this lady, her backbone, truthfulness and spirit( despite her glaring lack of vocal technique).
'National Muslim Fun Day' Canceled in U.K.country's first "National Muslim Fun Day" because of lack of interest, the park said on Wednesday.
http://archive.newsmax.com/archives/ic/2006/8/2/142611.shtml?s=ic
"Allah did not create man so that he could have fun. The aim of creation was for mankind to be put to the test through hardship and prayer. An Islamic regime must be serious in every field. There are no jokes in Islam. There is no humor in Islam. There is no fun in Islam. There can be no fun and joy in whatever is serious." -- Ayatollah Khomeini
"Islamic Thinkers Society"
It reminds me of the poster "An American" who used to post here with a pro-jihadist viewpoint, and who would always include the tagline "Just doing some thinking".

Oh, that is rich! Rich I tell you! LOL!!
Guess I ruined their parade. :)
jcom:
I really don't want to argue with you about this since we're on the same side but your excusing New Yorkers from counter protesting this because they want to "spend time with their families", yet saying that the smaller cities and towns will "kick their asses" makes no sense at all.
Don't smaller city/towns folk deserve to spend time with their families on a Sunday afternoon as well?
I just don't buy the excuse, sorry.
All who are disappointed in the small (though certainly dedicated) counter protest in NYC, please do make a note of attending one of these college protests scheduled for late October. There is almost certainly one near you.

Better yet, open a concession stand selling Pork Rinds. . . that way you can show how tolerant you are by offering them food between anti-American rants.
JohnAdams:
Thanks for the link. I'll be hooking up with some of these folks for the event!!!
It's ok, atheling...not arguing with you (yes, we're on the same page)...
smaller towns make a closer proximity, so if someone tried that there, it would hit a lot closer proximity to home. I was poking at them, not you. (that was unintentional if taken as such).
How about:
"West to East, Islam is the BEAST"!
They're only part of the "beast"...but...yeah, that'll work.
Islam is the Enemy.
...by their own admission, too.
(see previous threads where they admit no difference between islam & the islamofascism they call "jihad")
My hat is off to Urban Infidel for jamming that prayer transmission in NYC yesterday. All that spiritual hatred is bouncing around in the stratosphere by now.
Egad, from the looks of those men, the burqa, hijab, and niqab should be unisex apparel.
Muslims are mentally sick beyond repair. They CAN NEVER be Americans. They do not respect the American way of life. They say that openly. What the heck are we waiting for? We ought to ship all these banana benders back to the F...stan they originated from.

Good! Now that you see the absurdity of my statement, take a moment to see the absurdity of the 'Freesom of speech' arguement. While you argue the merits of 'Freedom of speech', which was not even the bone of contention, jihadists are abusing the same 'Freedom of speech' to destroy not only our country, but our values, our civilization and much worse, convert us into them, where 'Freedom Go To Hell' and 'Behead those who insult Islam'. Does the "Freedom of speech appear anywhere in their horizon? Do you see the absurdity your arguement for 'Freedom of speech', or are you going to shout about 'Freedom of speech', like a broken record? Take a moment and think about how you plan to oppose the abuse of 'Freedom of speech', which you hold so dear.
You ask "Why would anyone want to live in a country where they could go to prison for what they say?" Again, you are beating around the bush. Rather than addreessing the abuse of Freedom of speach, you are bent on providing more of the same that jihadists are abusing.
Finally, you say "The muslims are now a victim group, and groups like CAIR know how to play the victim card." To repeat, "Muslims are now a victim group"? REALLY?
Holocaust denial is not free speech. It is a rejection of historical truth and, along with the event itself, also a crime against humanity through complicity. It cannot be compared to a rational and sane critique of an ideology or totalitarian belief system like Islam. These are not equivalent examples of hate speech. What I'm saying is that no law worth its salt in our supposedly civilised society would equate them as such and would and should separate them as distinct entities, one to be punished and one to be welcomed. So I'm afraid Voltaire, who was edging very close to the current mindset of the loony left and their moral equivalence and tolerance of the barbaric, needed a proctologist to help him find his head.
To hell with freedom of speech
The Constitution is not a suicide pact
Jefferson's Formulation
strict observance of the written law is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to the written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the ends to the means."
We wouldn’t be having this conversation if the laws were not already being abused by pols/courts/judges/lawyers/plaintiffs/enemies of our nation and her people. They want to deny the holocaust, they are lunatics, confine them or if they are not citizens throw them out. Eisenhower knew this would happen, that is why he forced every soldier possible to see it firsthand, that is why he made movies of the visits, that is why we had the Nuremberg trials. Again, Eisenhower+Troops+Films+Nuremberg =Holocaust, Holocaust denial=lunacy. They are against free speech, again throw them out, we are founded on and operate under the Constitution and you are right it is not a suicide pact. Don’t agree with the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, even if related to Jefferson himself, throw them out! Start exercising the Sedition laws not enacting new and improved Euro laws.
KAOSKTRL:
Wow, that little piece of Jefferson is another rhetorical weapon we can use against the fey Lefties who would allow these mongrels to take over our country over tea and cookies and a "diversity roundtable". Thank you! Where did you find that?
Anyone here a lawyer with knowledge of U.S. sedition laws? It is mind boggling to me that our Constitution would not have self-preservation written into it. These Mulla-f*&kcers openly stand up on US soil and propose universal Sh'ari Law. Throw them in jail, or better yet put out a Special Forces team to start popping a few of them, get them looking over their shoulders, let them know that if and when it comes down to it we will FIGHT them and remove them.
I am no expert on Constitutional Law, but surely the 1st Amendment does not protect an ideology that would abolish it.
Where is Wellington?
johndoe:
You open a Pandora's box if you propose that we prosecute people who deny "historical truth". Does that mean we can prosecute people who don't believe that we landed on the moon? Or believe that Jesus Christ existed?
Furthermore, saying that Holocaust denial is "also a crime against humanity through complicity" is absurd. So you propose that people can be considered complicit for a crime that occurred before they were even born???
This all sounds as bad as the Islamofascists. They apply their laws like you propose! If I don't believe that Mohammed is the Prophet I can be killed! If I don't believe that Islam is the greatest religion I can be prosecuted!
"I give the Devil benefit of the law for my own safety's sake" - Thomas More
We are talking about enacting new laws and the laws we have now are being ignored, that’s a recipe for disaster.

It should read, islamist activity. Nevertheless they were released to strike again. So much for islamophobia.
This march is a good thing, we need more of them and bigger ones. Because maybe then the leftist America and Israel bashers who control the press and academia will wake up to who the real enemy is.
There is no historical 'precedence' for Islam in the United States. The growing belligerence and hatred of infidels by Muslims (and of each other in many cases) is ultimately incompatible with our society. In fact, it is incompatible as things stand now.
One way or another they will get the hint that they are genuinely not wanted here under any circumstances, just as much as they do not want to be here-- surrounded by dirty kuffars. Is this fair to genuinely peaceable Muslims? No, it is not, but it is not about fairness, it is about survival. The leftist game of absolute social equality is over.
Though cumbersome to execute, I cannot think of a more humane solution than the permanent separation of Islam from the West.
atheling: I'm here, pal, and I agree with what you have written, both from an ethical and legal standpoint. The First Amendment is very broad and protects almost all speech, even that calling for the end of America as we know it, which would happen if Islamic doctrine in its fullness became a reality (N.B., no other religion's doctrine in its entirety would eliminate the American Republic and its Constitution; Islam is alone here-------more reason to look at Muslims and say, "shame on you and the religion you preach).
As for the Jefferson quote provided by KAOSKTRL, that related to the acquisition of new land for America (i.e., the Louisiana Purchase Territory), because the Constitution did not have a provision for attaining additional real estate. Jefferson saw the wisdom in not sticking to a too literal assessment of the Constitution in this regard (good for him here, but he had previously taken a very strict and literal interpretation of the Constitution when the matter of a national bank was the issue at hand-------thankfully Alexander Hamilton prevailed and thus the "necessary and proper" clause found in Article 1, Section 8 was given a flexibility that Jefferson would have denied it at the time) and thus we doubled the size of America in 1803.
In any case, Jefferson himself was quite expansive when treating with the First Amendment. In his First Inaugural Address in March of 1801 he said, "If there be any among us who would wish to dissolve this Union or to change its republican form, let them stand undisturbed as monuments of the safety with which error of opinion may be tolerated where reason is left free to combat it." So, I say let's follow Jefferson's deep belief in the ability of freedom to win over all and allow the damn Islamic miscreants to spew their intolerance and warped desires. Reasonable Americans everywhere will understand full readily that radical Islam is for losers and haters and that moderate Muslims adhere to an ideology which is fundamentally flawed to such an extnet that the only remedy one has, if a Muslim, is to cease being a Muslim. In short, I trust in freedom and the Constitution.
'You open a Pandora's box if you propose that we prosecute people who deny "historical truth". Does that mean we can prosecute people who don't believe that we landed on the moon? Or believe that Jesus Christ existed?

To compare not believing in the moon landing with Holocaust denial is truly obscene and beyond belief. You are trivialising the Holocaust in the same way as the Islamists. Have you no idea what was done? The details! The scale of it!
And Holocaust deniers are complicit because had they been alive at the time, they most certainly would have willingly and gleefully participated in the mass murder. As the waiter says in 'The Shining'...'you've always been here Mr Torrance'.
johndoe: As American law now stands, Holocaust denial is fully protected by the Constitution. And I completely agree with this protection. People should have the right to be wrong, even to the point of making asses out of themselves. Show me a Holocaust denier and I will show you a fool, but let the court of public opinion condemn such a person rather than a court of law-------------better for the preservation of freedom; better for the First Amendment as it was intended by the Founders; better all around. Don't micromanage. It would have the ultimate effect of destroying the very freedom you and I cherish.
Wellington
Your sentiments are heartfelt and passionate and I admire that. But I am not convinced. Holocaust deniers are a clear and present danger to their fellow men, and abuse freedom of speech. Their views are unacceptable and abhorrent and I feel it is the duty of a civilised society to exile them from the community of man. They are worse than just wrong and considerably more than fools. As for public opinion..it is an ass. What does it know? Is there really such a thing as public opinion? It is not adequate to the task of dealing with this kind of evil. So that's where laws come in. Laws should be and are formulated by an elite to protect the public and the freedom we cherish as you say.. but not the hatemongers. Discrimination is essential. You don't punish a person for denying that a man lands on the moon..it's too trivial and really doesn't matter....but if he denies the murder of millions, he has no right to walk free. Someone must make that decision.
So I think the First Amendment allows too much 'freedom'. Here in Switzerland denial of both the Jewish and Armenian genocides is illegal and that feels right to me. And there is plenty of freedom here.Nobody is going to put me in prison for calling the Koran hate speech.
I won't get into the "free speech" fray but I must ask: When did sedition become legal? Assuming that most of these muslim derelicts are naturalized citizens, didn't they take an oath to uphold and defend the United States Constitution? Muslim immigrants, or any immigrants for that matter, who wave signs that curse patriotism and threaten to overthrow the government have violated their oath of citizenship. It should be revoked and they should be kicked out of America on their fat asses. If we tolerate this arrogant contempt for America by immigrants who chose to come here, why bother with the naturalization formalities? It couldn't be any more obvious that American citizenship is contemptible to these savages.
They are doing more harm than good to their cause by promoting it in public, but unless the "public" sees it here or on a few other websites, they'll never know this macabre procession occurred. I have not heard one word about it in the MSM. The news media keep ugly scenes like this under wraps; it wouldn't do for Americans to see how much these scumbags hate them and their country. That might upset the multiculti apple cart, which is about to topple over anyway.
I'm sure the organizers of this putrid spectacle had plenty of legal advice on how far they could push their unholy agenda. Too bad about their prayer being violated but allah must have willed it.
Urban Infidel, you asked on another site why that paleo woman could lead them in prayer...I don't know. Maybe because she is fugly, she is viewed as safe to pray behind. I haven't found anything on that yet, will let you know :)
Susanp
Thanks for artfully cut through the fog once again. As for sedition, I have wondered the same and can only assume that in US law it is only actionable if it represents some acute and demonstrable menace to the nation from within-- talk alone is insufficient. The exciting question is not so much when will we start picking off those individuals and groups that practice "islamic insurgency" in earnest but when will we regard the entire Islamic experiment as the threat that must be dealt with.
Here is an article on women leading men in prayer.
http://www.livingislam.org/o/wbm_e.html
Another on prayer....no women leading prayers here.

I'm not trivializing the Holocaust. But it will be trivialized because it will set a precedent for other suits in the future. And believe me, landing on the moon isn't as trivial as what I'm sure what would ensue.

Susanp,
Excellent post! but there is such a thing as willful ignorance. There are people who can look right at a thing and deny it's there. They prefer delusions to reality. How else can we explain educated and knowledgeable people in government and academia who continue to voice the dogmas that Islam is a peaceful religion, and that it is perfectly compatible with democracy and freedom.
You can hit those people on their heads with those signs, and they'll still insist that they don't mean what they say.
It's called willful ignorance.
If you looks closely at the video on the Atlas Shrugged site, just at the 6 minute mark when Pamela & the Gel-Tones start singing God Bless America, you can spot the Albanian and Bosnian flags among the procession. The Albanian flag is the red with the sinister black eagle that appears somewhat arachnid, and the Bosnian is the blue and yellow with the white stars. I think someone jumped the gun- the Largely Pro Western Moderate Non Muslim Day Parade isn't for another two weeks.
Didn't anyone tell these guys?
Gotta Love that poster by the "Islamic Thinkers Society". Talk about a Oxymoron!
Excellent work Urban_Infidel! And kudos to Pamela at Atlas_Shrugs for confronting those islamic low-life thugs who seek our destruction.
Yes, America is still asleep, even after 9-11 amazingly enough, but sooner or later she will awaken and defend herself against this scourge, these scumbags who openly work to subvert our entire way of life.
For now I would favor tomatoes and eggs as P.B. suggests.
It would be worth going to jail overnight to score a few hits.
The most telling photo of all was the one with that pathetic woman under the sign reading "Total Submission." Indeed.
