You'd think that those who ask the world to deplore Israeli attacks on civilians -- even if the evidence of such attacks weren't trumped up and media-generated -- would refrain from attacks on civilians themselves, but...no such luck.

Soldiers scrambled to evacuate babies from a day care center in rocket-scarred Sderot today after a projectile fired by Palestinian militants thudded into the courtyard.None of the 15 babies at the center was hurt. But frantic parents across the city - already furious over the government's failure to protect them and their children from the near-daily rocket fire - pulled their children out of schools on the second day of the academic year.
The army said six rockets were fired at the southern Israeli city, which lies just a few kilometres from the Gaza Strip, and at least one landed. The Islamic Jihad militant group claimed responsibiity for firing three.
Where is Ehud Ohlmert? He said there'd be peace after Gaza was handed over. This was going to be a 'turnkey' deal for the Palis: kick out settlers, take their homes and businesses--typical Islamic expansion.

Rockets pointed at beautiful baby girls and darling baby boys in Israel (the land for G_d's chosen people). The entire world, and half of the United States either ignores the event or enjoys their schadenfreud moment.
The balance of things is being weighed down by the negative forces, which are spiraling and spiraling ever faster. Those babies, represent the good - no, the best - that humanity has to offer. One of them could find the cure of loneliness and end this madness forever! As I see it, they act like a litmus test for the balancing of the equation between good and evil. Based on the complete lack of any reaction to this event, I would venture that right now we are heading for the big bang which is the reaction required to balance this equation. Simply said, it is not possible for evil to reach this far into good without a reaction!
A word of caution: the biblical quote "the meek will inherit the Earth" is not easily understood by the average person in this disconnected society. As with all past cataclysm, those who are liked will fair much better in a society devoid of any other currency.

He gives everything to Islam including the digging up of the Temple Mt and the deliberate destruction of ancient Jewish artifacts. The US has no official ancient history beyond Indian's and cave men, but even here there is an Antiquities Act that says that everything over one hundred years old, in the ground, belongs to the US gov. If Israel has such a law, why is Olmert allowing the muslims to destroy priceless artifacts, and treasures? The kssazz Olmert should not just be kicked out of office, he should be imprisoned for letting these attacks on the Israeli people and culture, go virtually unchallenged....
It's like the song Bob Dylan wrote in the early 1980s when Israel bombed the nuclear installation in Iraq, "Neighbourhood Bully". The campaign of demonization that was well under way back then has succeeded to the point that the world could care less what acts of aggression Israel suffers. It has, in their eyes, no right to exist, and if the "militants" are bombing civilians living within the 1948 borders, well, it's because of the humiliation of the "occupation".

This is so sickening. The Israeli government has to do more for its people.
Last May's "Walk With Israel" here in Toronto was a fundraiser for the people of Sderot. Money helps but it doesn't stop terrorist bombs.
I really hate to see the Israeli Nation back up in the face of Islamic hate, and hegemony. It is agonizingly unfair, for Israeli gov to allow it's citizens to be under almost constant attack, and act as front-line fodder for attacking muslims. I don't blame the residents there if they packed up and moved out. Olmerts policies create dead Israelis.
Simple as that. I suppose that Israel has internal problems that I don't know about, but they better buckle up. Hamas and Fatah are now working together to attack Israelis. Hezbollah, is itching for another fight, and Syria keeps rattling its sword.
Then there is the Israel/Iran problem, and who knows what else. I don't know about politics, and religious fervor, but the people of Israel are not deserving of any of this. Actually, no one under jihadi attack anywhere 'deserves it'. The attack of the sixty foot tall lunar-tic, is never deserved. Unless of course one is a lunar-tic and see it differently. The Wolf Man with Lon Chaney, was a fictionalized version of what happens when one is transfixed by the moon demon. A perfectly nice man is transformed into a ravenous beast, by exposure to the moon. The moon god Allah has the same properties applied to the submitter. This fixation with Allah is not physical. It is mental, and manifests in a loss of critical thinking, being replaced by irrational thought. This makes jihad possible as well as a host of other, barbaric habits, as taught by Allah's books.
Because Allahs books divide the world in half, 'them and us', and the Jews (not exclusively, but especially), are on the 'them' side, they must be subjugated, or wiped out. Hate, personal vendetta, profit motivation, and pleasing Allah will guarantee a continual state of war between Israel and muslim proxies, until a winner emerges.
There is no such thing as a stalemate for Israel.

With regard to "the meek shall inherit the earth" - in practical terms, I hate to say it, but the decisive interpreter of man these days is UBL (may his name be blotted out), who said that people naturally want to follow the stronger horse. As a psychological observation, he's right. Any political leader who doesn't choose victory for his people is a traitor.
Incidentally, this shows what is lacking from the consensus worldview at JW/DW about the evils of fighting in Iraq and the desirablity of retreat. To the ordinary people around the world, jihadists, neutrals, American independents, Iraq and Afghanistan veterans that I know, everything boils down to something simple: who won? There are many excellent arguments posted here about better ways to fight the War Against Militant Islam, and I agree with some of them. But there is no substitute for the defeat and surrender of your enemy. Our betrayal of the Vietnamese in 1975 led to the 1979 hostage taking in Iran, the bombing in Beirut in 1983 (which was followed by another withdrawal), the Lockerbie bombing, the first bombing of the WTC, the Khobar Towers bombing, the USS Cole bombing, the east African bombings, and 9/11. Only on October 7, 2001 (invasion of Afghanistan) did we begin for the first time to take a tiny step to roll back militant Islam. We have a lot more work to do.

As to refusing to "identify the ENEMY", be my guest! JW/DW always inflames passions but refuses to name the war, leaving a commentary with angry muttering. I consistently call the war the "War Against Militant Islam", a name behind which Westerners and others can rally. JW/DW calls the war the "jihad", in agreement with the jihadists!
