We are confused, and we are alarmed, that the last person in Norway who should make such a remark, that is the head of the Norwegian security service, confidently tells us that there is a great diffrence between "Islam" and ""Islamism"?

So tell us please what those diffrences are. Be sure to tell us the differences in doctrine, and not merely describe them as differences in practice. If someone engages directly in violent Jihad, and someone else supports the first person in every way -- money, moral support, attempts to confuse Infidels or keep the security forces from effectively monitoring and doing their job -- is the second person not also supporting violent Jihad? And what of those Muslims who support Jihad, but believe that at this point, with the numbers still against Musilms, and violence possibly likely to work against Muslim interests (that is not a moral argument against violence, but merely a practical one, based on what Muslims may regard as a temporary situation to be endured), the most effective weapons of Jihad are use of the Money Weapon, campaigns of Da'wa, and, best of all, demographic conquest, as the large Muslim families, and continued Muslim immigration unhindered by any Infidel attempts to stop it, show everywhere an inexorable rise in Muslim numbers and therefore Muslim political power and Muslim ability to pressure politicians, long before Muslims are a majority, to bend to their will.

One thing is not confusing about the statements made by the head of Norway's security service. One thing is crystal clear. He does not understand the texts and tenets and attitudes and atmospherics of Islam. In order to immmediately improve the security situation in Norway for Norwegian non-Muslims, the head of the Security Service, Jorn Holme, should be fired, and replaced by someone with a solid grasp of Islam, and therefore of the permanent threat, to the legal and political institutions of Norway, to its social arrangements, to free inquiry and to art, to the physical well-being of Infidels, that Islam -- not this fictive "Islamism" that some seem unable to drop or do without, for reasons having to do with their own mental inadequacies or their fear of giving offense or for some other mistaken --two-bit machiavellian -- calculation.

If Jorn Holme can list the passages in the Qur'an and Hadith that "Islamists" rely on, and tell us how such passages, and such reliance on them, differs from what those who believe not in "Islamism" but "Islam" take as their texts, we will all be happy to accept his superior knowledge and understanding -- a knowledge and an understanding that presumably goes far beyond that of the great Western scholars of Islam, every single one of them in the days before the profession itself became islamized, and peopled by apologists, some of them no more than direct or indirect hirelings of the Arabs, such as Esposito, and others who "found the answer" to their own spiritual search in Islam, and still others who, careful careerists, are afraid to offend the Muslim colleagues who now make up nearly three-quarters of the membership of MESA (Nostra) in this country, and who control in most colleges and universities the academic study -- or deliberate non-study -- of Islam.

Jorn Holme, and all those who continue to believe that there is something called "Islamism" that is a threat, and something called "Islam" that is not a threat, that is perfectly fine, that makes no claims on Infidel institutions or Infidel lives, should start, perhaps, by reading the article by Raymond Ibrahim that has just appeared in the Chronicle of Higher Education.

Ibrahim, who is a researcher in the Near East Division of the Library of Congress, has had the intelligence to publish the writings of Al Qaeda members. Ibrahim noticed that these assorted manifestoes and appeals, when addressed to Infidel audiences, always contained some rhetoric about such obvious "grievances" as Iraq, "Palestine," Kashmir, Kosovo, and so on. This litany, however, was completely absent from the writings and speeches direced at fellow Muslims. For them, Bin Laden, Al-Zawahiri, and othres had no need to deceive ("war is deception") but could stick to Islam -- plain Islam. And so they do: they offer the texts of Islam, passages from the Qur'an and stories from the Hadith, unchanged by a jot or tittle, the very same passages and stories that are part of Islam, and have been read, and are known, by Musliims all over the world (there is no "European Islam" or "American Islam" as some fondly believe, or somehow, illogically, think magically comes into being once Muslims are physically present on the soil of Europe or America).

Raymond Ibrahim, having realized that the Arabic versions of what Bin Laden and others say remained largely untranslated, and therefore unknown to Western policy-makers and the Western public. Before Raymond Ibrahim (an Arabic-speaking non-Muslim), apparently, none of our "loyal" and "moderate" Muslim scholars in colleges or universities or employed by the government saw fit to discuss, much less translate, those texts. Apparently none, before Raymond Ibrahim performed his indispensable service, felt sufficiently loyal to undertake the task themselves, and thereby to better inform Infidels (the very Infidels whom some of them have, as their professions, a duty to advise on the nature of Muslim terrorism and its sources) of what it is that menaces them now, and indeed, menaces them permanently, for Muslims are taught to think of themselves in a permanent state of war -- though not always active warfare -- with Infidels, until such time as Islam everywhere dominates and Muslims rule, everywhere.

The communiques and tapes made for Western audiences are, Ibhraim noticed, not at all like the tapes made by terrorists for fellow Muslims, as recruiting tools. Those tapes, those writings, are full of standard Islamic doctrines, well-known passages from the Qur'an, "authentic" Hadith from the collections of Bukhari and Muslim. They are intended to motivate those who, out of laziness or self-interest, have become "bad" Muslims and are not sufficiently inspired to participate directly in violent Jihad, or are not "bad" Muslims but merely those who fully support the efforts of the "good" (i.e., violent) Muslims through donations of money, or through attempts to block Infidel efforts to successfully monitor or even head off those who do engage in terrorism (which for Muslims is not terrorism but merely a form of qitaal, combat, and when directed at Infidels -- as opposed to fellow Muslims -- perfectly acceptable, unless of course any resulting harm to Muslims and to Islam renders it counter-productive -- a merely practical objection to some kinds of terrorism, and not a moral one).

I have learned the same, even though I'm pro-immigrant(screening heavily on the muslims and blocking the vast majority on entering a country), I'm in favour of church and state separation, pro-freedom of expression, in a two-way street, being able to poke fun of christians and christians poke fun of me. Well, obviously, the Norwegian security service needs to coordinate activities with Al Qaeda so as to best prevent harm to Muslims from the backlash. If the police know when attacks are to occur then they will be able to to plan for security measures to be in place to protect the Muslims from any possible backlash. They can take a cue from the Bush administration and make sure that family and friends of the terrorist leadership get flown out of the country before they are subject to backlash.

The only reason this is so is because Norwegians keep voting the same politicians back to power. The politicians thus get the message that they can do as they please to placate Muslims, to get their votes. The same holds in all Western countries where there are Muslims.

As long as Muslims are a minority, we still have a window to vote in political parties who are committed to send Muslims back to their ancestral lands. If we do this, the rest of the political parties will change their tune.

In the end it is up to us to change the political scene. No one else to blame.

As I read Hugh about the curious and inapt word "compatriots" penned by the Nordic journalist,concerning a forced universalism between the normal Nordics and the marauding ideology of moslems, it dawned on me that the moslem compatriots, are actually the journalists and universalists who refuse to condemn the invasion of the body snatchers. The author of this article is an accomplice to Islam.
