KANDAHAR, Afghanistan - Taliban militants hanged a teenager in southern Afghanistan because he had U.S. money in his pocket, and they stuffed five $1 bills in his mouth as a warning to others not to use dollars, police said Monday. Taliban militants elsewhere killed eight police.The 15-year-old boy was hanged from a tree on Sunday in Helmand, the most violent province in the country and the world's No. 1 poppy-growing region.
"The Taliban warned villagers that they would face the same punishment if they were caught with dollars," said Wali Mohammad, the district police chief in Sangin.
Dollars are commonly used in Afghanistan alongside the afghani, the local currency, although the U.S. currency is more commonly seen in larger cities where international organizations are found.
Militants often justify their attacks and executions as a response to U.S. meddling in Afghan affairs.
In Sangin on Saturday, the Taliban shot and killed another man who had sought farm assistance and seeds from an international aid program, Mohammad said. The militants accused him of being a spy.

Once we have at least two people from every state, we can agree on a mailing date and then each of us can mail a copy of the book on that date.
Right before each of us mails the book, we’ll issue a press release to media outlets in as many states as possible, and in that way announce and explain the mailing. And perhaps we can come up with some other ways of maximizing the effectiveness of this project and gaining as much positive attention as possible.
One of the project's volunteers suggested contacting Rep. Sue Myrick, who started the Anti-Jihad Caucus in Congress. When we reach the goal of having all 100 senators covered, I'll call Rep. Myrick's office and see if she can help. I've called several congressional offices to get advice on how best to proceed.

Anyway Arab and Pak Militants know best how to run Afghan affairs.
The word militants showed up in that article four times. Why? Couldn't the writer just say,
"The Taliban hanged a teenager . . . ?" Does the Taliban have followers who are non-militant?
Is there a special militant wing similar to an Nazi Einsatzgruppe (Specal purpose force or task force)? Is there a Taliban group trying to win their hearts and minds by spreading food, good will, and lots of cash similar to the US efforts?
And the reason we allowed the Afghanis to establish yet another "Islamic" state after defeating an Islamic state run by the Taliban is?
Was this not our own defeat, ordained and sanctified?

...i suppose he sought corn,wheat,or pea seeds for, you know food....unlike the poppy seeds that the Taliban favors....

And don't forget to look at labels on all products you buy. If the product was made in Egypt, or Turkey (many cotton towels and linens are made there) or any other Muslim country don't purchase it!

Was $5.00 'all' the US dollars the kid had? If he had more, some Talibani got it. At any rate the Taliban did him a kindness as they did Qaaqaa. They sent him to heaven quick, saving him, years on this rotten planet. The Taliban are actually humanitarians working to fill vacancy's in Paradise.
A bunch of kinder guys is hard to find, unless you look at Islam, it is loaded with kind people. The kind you are better off staying away from. The kind you don't want in your neigborhood's, the kind you don't want to have political power, the kind you don't want to marry. From the movie 'The Wild one' with Marlon Brandow... The waitress looks at the bad azz biker and sez 'I know your kind', to which the biker responds, 'Not only am I kind, I am gentle too'. The Taliban are a little different, they are very kind, but not the least bit gentle...
The Muslims could have a field day in Gaza....a lot of Palestinians carry US dollars....as do Muslims in Iran, Syria, Egypt, and even in Yeman...

Today I had to meet some clients who I was connecting with one of my contractors. I promised them I'd bring coffee for everyone but got to the meeting right as it was starting, so I went back out to get the coffee. Across the street from their house was a Caribou Coffee. I read last year that they were Sharia compliant so I continued on. I stopped at the market next door but they didn't have what I was looking for. So I drove three miles to McDonald's and got everybody their coffee.
It would have been so easy to just run across the street and buy the Caribou, but you see, I haven't bought Caribou Coffee in over two years since I first heard about their connection to Islam. It took a little longer but I felt really good about taking the stand that I don't need their coffee and I'm no dhimmi. In fact there is nothing Muslims have that I need or want, and that is a great position to be in.
I think it is a great tragedy, though there are so many in these places, that men would hang a 15-year-old boy. That strikes me as very, very sad. I always wonder, despite their indoctrination, how can they do such things? The Nazis behaved the same way.
