This shouldn't surprise anyone, given the sharp dichotomy between believers and unbelievers that runs through all of Islam.
From the Herald Sun (thanks to JE):
ONE of the three Bali bombers on death row in Indonesia has admitted crying for Muslim victims of his crime, but remained unrepentant for taking other lives. Bali bombings mastermind Imam Samudra told an Indonesian television station he was "very sorry" and had wept because he had killed Muslims in the 2002 attack. But he remained unrepentant for the other innocent lives he had ended, when he masterminded the twin nightclub bombings, which killed 202 people, including 88 Australians.
Indonesian television station Lativi has broadcast footage from a hidden camera, filmed this week when two journalists gained access to the tightly-guarded island prison at Nusakambangan island, by pretending to be relatives.
Family of the three - Samudra, the "smiling assassin" Amrozi bin Nurhasyim, and his brother Ali Ghufron alias Mukhlas - visited the prison on Monday in what could be their last meeting with the death row convicts before their executions.
Samudra used the gathering to deliver a set of 10 final wishes to his family.
He asked his family to not cry out loud in front of his body.
"Nobody, neither family, nor parents, nor wife or children can cry out loud in front of my dead body," he told relatives.
"I asked you to buy the cheapest white cloth to cover my body, but it should be bought from clean money.
"And when I am dead, I don't want to be autopsied," he said.
The 10 wishes included a request he be buried in his home village in Serang, West Java and that his funeral be conducted by fellow muslims.
Meanwhile, Amrozi had been fasting for two consecutive months inside the prison to ask God's forgiveness for killing the Muslims, the program said.
"Tell the others that I am sorry for the Muslims that had become victims," Amrozi said.
But the terrorist, who was scorned for laughing at the carnage during his trial, said that the blasts had gone as planned, and only regretted there weren't more victims.
"When I was caught, no one in the coastal area knew what jihad was," he said.
"But right now, everyone is saying it, and I really feel it.
"This evidence was (shown) when I am still alive, (so) it would be even more when I die."
No, man. Everyone in the Western world knows that jihad is an interior spiritual struggle. Get with the program, will you? You're just another of the multitudinous Misunderstanders of Islam.
Why is he weeping for his "brothers and sisters"?
Isn't it a good thing that he sent them to paradise while he sent the infidels to their deaths? They always screech that they love death more than infidels love life yet here we have this piece of garbage shedding tears for his dead co-cultists. Sounds a little hypocritical to me.
I find it appalling tha any civilized persons would go to ant country that, 1. Doesn't allow freedom of religion. 2. After it's citizens are murdered, would still allow fellow citizens to resume holliday travel for a buck. 3.As islam still keeps on preachin it's such a religion of peace as long as your muslim' you would spend a dime there?
It has occurred to me that this walking mushroom cloud of a person, abu Bakir Basyiir, the leading terrorist mastermind of Indonesia, could be partly responsible for the tsunami of slaughter that swept over the Indonesian islands of Sumatra, Java, Bali, and Lombok in the years 1965-66. In those years it is possible (according to many Indonesians) that several million people were brutally massacred. I have read accounts of Indonesians (often Christians) being hacked to death with machetes by other Indonesians. Ibn Warraq alluded to these events in "WHY I AM NOT A MUSLIM."
I actually heard firsthand this walking mushroom cloud, Basyiir, threaten to "chop people up" --which is something that happened to thousands of persons in Indonesia while he was living there.
There were also horrendous, gruesome massacres of ethnic Chinese in the Javanese city of Surakarta in 1998 (Basyiir's madrassa turf is a burg called Ngruki just out of town). I don't know how many of these unfortunate people were massacred by rampaging jihadists, but I am sure it was at least several hundred. Basyiir probably had something to do with these massacres too (his madrassa is, as previously mentioned, right next door). Tragically, these massacres were off the radar of the world community at that time (Suharto's deserved overthrow grabbed the headlines and thus obscured this ugly tragedy).
If so, Basyiir can and should be treated by the Indonesian authorities as a war criminal of the highest priority. The events of 1965-66 are usually classified as a civil war, so there is scope to level charges of war crimes against Basyiir if he had any involvement in them. The sooner we eliminate this walking mushroom cloud and his ilk the better off Indonesia and the world will be.
And, of course, Indonesia's killer-zombie elite can will try to pre-empt any and all actions taken against Basyiir even if he were guilty (I think he very likely is).
"I asked you to buy the cheapest white cloth to cover my body"
Well, there's something to be said for a man who knows his worth.
I'd say thats why God made polyester?
Just for the record. I will utterly repute what this poor lost soul will receive for his rejection of the one true God. He will not only suffer in Hell because of what he did he will suffer in Hell because he cannot do anything worthy enough to save himself. He like all of us started out as a sinner in need of a savior. God is perfectly just and he had every opportunity to believe the light he was given. This knowledge comes two ways by conscience and creation. Islam rejects these truths and reject God's solution to mankind's problem. God caused their hearts to become darkened who turn from the truth. Leading to perversions, pride and self glory. In Islams case their dark hearts cast a god (allah) in their who image. Don't be misled. Remember that you can't ignore God and get away with it. You will always reap what you sow! He is the judge and final answer.
Romans 5:10
For since we were restored to friendship with God by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be delivered from eternal punishment by his life.

weeping for his "beothers & sisters", but unrepentant for the infidels?...over what he himself did???
Clearly and unmistakably the mind of a psychopath.
Cheapest white cloth?
Toilet tissue comes to mind.
Very fitting, both for the individual and the occasion! Biodegradable like Islam!
They can put him in a tuxedo if they want--It still wont change his final destination.
"And when I am dead, I don't want to be autopsied"....doing so would release a hoard of maggots and caustic gases.
If and its a bif IF these filth are ever executed I am having the biggest all pork and alcohol BBQ.
I may even travel to bali so I can shit on his grave

Yes, used toilet tissue.

They all should be buried wrapped in pigskin
HOW TO STOP ISLAMIC TERRORISTS . . . it worked once in our History . . .
Once in US history an episode of Islamic terrorism was very quickly stopped. It happened in the Philippines about 1911, when Gen. John J. Pershing was in command of the garrison. There had been numerous Islamic terrorist attacks, so "Black Jack" told his boys to catch the perps and teach them a lesson.
Forced to dig their own graves, the terrorists were all tied to posts, execution style. The US soldiers then brought in pigs and slaughtered them, rubbing their bullets in the blood and fat. Thus, the terrorists were terrorized; they saw that they would be contaminated with hogs' blood. This would mean that they could not enter Heaven, even if they died as terrorist martyrs.
All but one was shot, their bodies dumped into the grave, and the hog guts dumped atop the bodies. The lone survivor was allowed to escape back to the terrorist camp and tell his brethren what happened to the others. This brought a stop to terrorism in the Philippines for the next 50 years.
Pointing a gun into the face of Islamic terrorists won't make them flinch. They welcome the chance to die for Allah. Like Gen. Pershing, we must show them that they won't get to Muslim heaven (which they believe has an endless supply of virgins) but instead will die with the hated pigs of the devil.

1998 was a busy year. Most of the American media was no doubt absorbed by the latest missing woman of the week, the Bill Clinton travails, Osama's calls for jihad, al Qaeda blowing up two embassies in Africa, Bosnia, the umpteenth UN resolution regarding WMD in Iraq, the no-fly zones and much more. Would a massacre in one city on one island in a chain of 1,000 be noticed? Once Suharto, a US ally, was driven from power, Indonesia was probably never more than an afterthought. It took a natural disaster like the tsunami or the terrorism of Bali to get people to notice Indonesia.
It's a little like Iran. Human rights in Iran would be a big deal to US media if the Shah were in power. Now, it's a matter internal to Iran.

They certainly were in Jakarta. Lethal riots and massacres there caught the attention of the worldwide media--and yet the Surakarta riots may well have dwarfed even Jakarta's (and by the way, they happened at the same time as the Jakarta riots). Surakarta, a city of about 500,000 was almost entirely destroyed according to some reports I read. The massacres that racked the city were truly horrifying with hundreds of ethnic Chinese shopkeepers being torched to death while their stores were looted and set on fire. These riots were actually more lika civil war and actually were part of a jihad for which abu Bakr Basyiir may have been responsible.
FYI: Java does not happen to be merely an island, with 140,000,000 people on it and a civilization that once rivaled China's and India's the place has relevance to world affairs. Indonesia is not a chain of 1000 islands, it is a chain of tens of thousands of islands over three million square miles of oceanic territory and has long held the attention of the west. Indonesia's economy is probably larger than you think and there is probably more corporate investment here than you would suspect.
After the Jakarta riots questions arose concerning Indonesia's stability and that drove it partly off the west's radar.
But the main point I was making is that Abu Bakir Basyiir may well be a war criminal of the first rank and this I think is too important to get sidetracked from.

It would be most fitting if the method of Samuda's execution follows a plan like this:
Take him out by ship to the Marianas trench. Seal him into a 55 gallon drum filled to the brim with swine urine and excrement. Then drop it over the side into the deepest section of the Trench, about 11,000m deep where he will rest for eternity.
