Contested French immigration bill passes

It's not much, but at least it's a step in the right direction. One hopes it's only the first of many. As the saying goes, "the longest journey begins with a single step."

Why does a foreign person have any rites to "individual freedoms" in France, or any country they were not born in and are not citizens of?
It's absurd.
Why would a DNA test erode anyone's freedoms anyway, if you are who you say you are, no problem.

Fraternity (brotherhood): The third element of the motto of the Republic, "Fraternity" is defined in the Declaration of the Rights and Duties of Man and the Citizen, which appeared in the preambule of the Consititution of 5th Fructidor Year III (22 August 1795): “Do not do unto others what you would have done to you; always show to others the good that you would have shown to you”. Brotherhood in the French Republic is extended to all fellow citizens, regardless of religious belief or gender. As Gertrude Stein would say, a brother (or sister) is a brother is a brother is a brother. This core value is at complete odds with the canonical Islamic doctrine of accepting only fellow Muslims as friends and brothers.

So on all of the most fundamental values of the French society, the totality of its foundation, the three core pillars of the French civilization, no Muslim can ever acquiesce, ever. To be truly French, a Muslim must give up one's loyalty to the elements of the Islamic dogma that are in fundamental conflict with the French values. To do so would be an act of apostasy.

Committing apostasy may be possible for an infinitesimal fraction of the Muslim population in France. The weight of more than a thousand years of history tells us louder than the peal of all the bells in France that except for this insignificant fraction of apostate Muslims, all the rest have come not to assimilate into the French society and adopt its core values, but to interleave and eventually conquer the land of the Franks and exterminate their values of liberty, equality and brotherhood, a cultural inheritance for which their ancestors have fought and died.

Exactly how, I'd like them to explain, do DNA tests make it difficult? I would think it's EASIER. Just a pin prick, and the lab comes back later and says "you're a blood relative". What could be easier? Better than long hearings and document searches from war-torn lands, trying to get papers from corrupt and hostile governments.

As you may well know, for us muslims ....family and tribe and clan are all important.

In order to remain pure, we like to try & keep the propogation of the (sur)name ....within the immediate family. i.e. Marriage is prefereable to 1st,2nd,3rd cousin as opposed to marrying a muslim/muslima of a different muslim tribe for example.

This keeps our bloodline pure and brings strength to family in numbers from potential childrens of the marriage too.

In virtually all cases it is preferable for a muslim male/female in France say to marry a cousin from Pak rather than marry a muslim/muslima in France of a different tribe.

Now this is part of our heritage, our thinking, our religion AND our right as human beings belonging to a different culture.

I would not like to see positive discrimination resulting from this law...i.e. When trying to marry a 1st/2nd cousin back from Pak....this is detected by DNA and the marriage stopped...and the authorities see this as ...trying to sneak in a family member ...when clearly this is not the case.

I can see a lot of trouble ahead if muslims are disadvantaged like this....let's hope this is not the case....

This is a serious problem. Imagine the heartache caused when the heartless infidels block the marriage of these star-crossed lovers. Brings to mind Shakespeare's tragic story of Romeo and Juliette. Naseem, they can always remain in their primitive villages and interbreed, if this makes them happy. No one should take that cutural freedom away from them. But they may not bring their backwardness to the civilized lands to which they aspire to migrate, not without our policies of testing them, to see if they are who they say they are. Then they are subject to our laws of verification of their identities. If this displeases them, then don't come, or leave.

The DNA test would never pass the US Congress. Critics would say that it treats "undocumented immigrants" (PC for illegal aliens) as criminals.

Partly because of the CSI series of TV shows, we associate DNA testing with forensic fingerprinting. For similar reasons, proposals to fingerprint people at the borders would never pass.

The assumption seems to be that the government of France, and the people of France, the inheritors of the legacy that is France, have no right to protect that legacy, or themselves, but instead have a duty to admit all kinds of people, from all kinds of places, merely because those people appear to think that they have a right to arrive and be let in. My job used to take me to schools for severely handicapped children and I noticed Pakistani children were “over represented” but I put it down to the fact they kept on having children well into their 40’s.

BTW residence in the UK is so highly sought after that one family had no trouble getting a wife from Pakistan for their mentally retarded paraplegic son. The couple had 3 children who I assume were normal and I should be fair and say my middle class Pakistani informant considered them peasants and was disgusted.

Question. I've been following developments in Switzerland. They appear a lot more motivated towards taking steps on immigration and deportation. One reason for this as I understand is that Switzerland is not part of the EU, which has jurisdiction over immigration for EU member nations. If that is so, how do French get around this? If immigration is the jursidiction of the EU what allows the French to adopt their own laws regarding immigration?

Possibly because the EU calls for the free movement of Capital, Goods, and PEOPLE. The host countries of Eurabia (and I use the word "host" both as "one who invites guests to his home" and additionally as "an entity which has a parasite living in its body") need to wrest their sovereignty back from the EU. A Common Market is one thing, having no say about who gets to enter your country and what rules they must follow while they reside there is a whole 'nother thing...

Right. It's not like somebody's going to Pakistan or Somalia and rounding people up at gunpoint and forcing them to emigrate to France, Denmark, wherever. Whoever goes to a new country needs to willingly follow its rules. This is true for border-crossers in the USA, Pakistanis in London, Moroccans in Belgium, or Turks in Germany. If you're not willing to follow the rules at the new place, stay home.

Only PART of the answer lies in the “texts, and tenets of Islam”. The other part lies in the extreme cultural weakness of the West – the responsibility for which is solely our own.

When “Western” culture self-denigrates at every turn, at all levels of academia and in all forms of public media? It is disaapointing that my serious point to note vis French Govenment policy has been used as a free for all "punch bag" against Allah Paak's chosen brethren's marrige policy.

Like I said generations have held the "family" together....but you don't like it.

In this case may I suggest that greater integration efforts are made by both communities in the West. In particular greater "access" is given to your daughters via marriage to help kick cousin marriage into touch.

I realise that this may take "understanding" on the part of some Western parents but...hey this is for the greater good of society....this is what the kaffur is good at ...this "good for society" is what the kaffur lives for.

Give your daughters a good understanding of Islam, tell them how much you respect Islam and show them the virtues of muslim mensfolk...endear them towards them.

Then allow/encourage the Susans, the Mary-Beths and Elizabeths to marry the Hamids and Muhammeds and welcome your sons-in-law into your house.

Well, I am giving my sister the Anti-Dhimmi award this year. She lives in a large city, with a large muslim immigrant population. M runs a school which teaches aesthetics. Many of the women who are students come from the middle east. All of them have college degrees and speak excellent English and are in their 40s. I can fully attest to this as the "special" school bus used to stop at least 6 times on my very short but mostly muslim U.K. street.
