And I've been coming here ever since. What an education I've received. Many thanks to Robert, Hugh, Greg and Marisol. My eyes are wide open now.

Counterjihad Resistance

(wooo hooo!) I'm feeling kinda moist.

Robert, thank you, thank you, thank you for Jihad Watch! I had had a growing unease for years about the growing threat of--what was one even to call it?--"Islamic extremeism". Like a lot of people, I really started to educate myself after 9/11. Even just relying on the mainstream media at the time, I was becoming more and more alarmed. I began paying more attention to the Jihadists own rhetoric--I began to realize how consistent it was.

I remember talking to people around that time, opining that this issue dated back at least to the hijackings of the 1970s--many rejected the idea out of hand, believing that Osama bin Ladin acted alone, in a vacuum, or that he was reacting to US policy only. What policy would that be? Rescuing Muslims in Bosnia? Coming to the aid of Kuwait against the invasion by Sadaam Hussein? Trying to stabalise Somalia?

Now, of course, I realise that the 670s are a better point of reference than the 1970s. Jihad Watch and Dhimmi Watch are invaluable tools for anyone trying to educate themselves and others about the Jihad threat.

I remember the killing of Leon Klinghoffer and some pundit at the time saying that "Islamic Extremism" will be the next totalitarian menace the world would face. I now know what the true menace is. You don't have to live in Europe, like "anti_uffe" in order to encounter the hostility around you with respect to this extremely important topic. Here in the U.S. people like me work with and around people who are utterly hostile to this topic and our point of view. Even in our own families with our very relatives we experience isolation and cannot discuss these matters without risking hostility. So, having forums like these on the web where we can continually read articles about Islam and read others' opinions about it is refreshing and encouraging.

As someone said above, Jihad Watch is one of only a few links to sanity, truth, and hope in the struggle to find a solution to the threat of islam and muslims. Many people are doggedly determined to defend and appease the poor, oppressed muslims, all in the name of tolerance, diversity, multiculturalism, and a perverse need to feel good about themselves for being so nice and inclusive. As far as I'm concerned, these naive and/or self-hating morons deserve whatever fate befalls them for their misplaced loyalties.

People have become so confused in our politically correct society that they can no longer distinguish between bigotry and truth. I don't enjoy reading disturbing articles about islamic insanity every day, but I prefer being informed to living in fantasy land. Wishing the islamic threat away is futile and suicidal; ignoring it is cowardly. I am so grateful for Robert, Hugh, Greg, and Marisol, Jihad Watch, and all the intelligent, informative posters from whom I have learned so much. This is the most valuable and informative website on the internet and I am so glad I found it about three years ago! I hope millions more discover it.

Four years ago, even after 9/11, the concept of Islamism and a global jihad was remote in most people's minds. Now I see liberal posters to left-wing newspaper sites criticising Islam and warning of its threat to freedom.

Jihadwatchers - keep up the struggle! Be proactive. Educate and inform your families, friends and colleagues. Use MSM websites to challenge Islamist propaganda and confront its apologists. Ask your political representatives WTH they are doing to combat the threat. If they answer “What threat?” then vote the bums out!

Four years is a long time, but not in this battle. And Robert, if ever you feel downhearted at being constantly attacked and smeared and called a troublemaker, remember one thing.

So was Winston Churchill in the Thirties.

On a serious note. Surrounded as I am in th UK by retards who would rather see their children die, or have their futures uttelry destroyed, it has been a relief to be able to talk to people who actually think for themselves.

I've printed off so many of the wise words posted here (need a dictionary at my side for Hugh's postings) for enlightening others. I only wish I had been here to celebrate the 1st, 2nd and 3rd anniversaries. I have come in a little late to the counter jihad movement but I am here for good primarily because of your good works. Since coming to JW, I began reading books again. Hugh Fitzgerald expanded my vocabulary ten fold (and forced me to bookmark dictionary.com, though I have not yet found the opportunity to use the term tikity-boo in my writing). I've learned enough to fill a book of my own. In fact I am thinking of writing one. I even started my own blog.

And tonight, I did what I should have done well before now, after so many initial log-ins to my google homepage, and then jumping to JW. As of a few minutes ago I made JW my homepage.

This weekend I was working on a project with my hands and listening to a Lord of the Rings marathon in the background as I worked. It struck me how the fight against Islam is very much like the fight to save middle earth. The thing that I noticed, having watched all three parts of LOTR in a row and having followed this website for a good 3 1/2 years now is that the enemy always assumes the sale. Like Naseem, the enemy tells us constantly that we are losing, that we are being taken over, that we have no hope, that we have no chance. But as we saw, and as Tolkien saw, just like in LOTR, in just ain't so. And even if it were, this world of ours, with all it's problems and troubles, is worth fighting for. It's worth standing up and facing evil and possibly looking death in the eye to preserve our heritage and the things we think are precious.

Can you imagine a world without dogs? That's what we will have if Islam reigns supreme because dogs are haram in Islam. Can you imagine no Christmas lights, no Christmas music in the stores and on the radio, no turkey, NO HAM and no pumpkin pie over the next two months? Can you imagine NO ONE wishing you a Merry Christmas on Christmas Eve while you are running to the store for that last ingredient to finish the cookies or the dinner for the next day? Last year that day was absolutely transformed as everyone I met wished me well and trucks in the parking lot stopped and let me go first with a tip of the hat and a smile, all because of the spirit of the day. I can't imagine not having that this year and every year until I kick off and indeed, if I can't have it I don't want to live here anymore. Those are just a few of the things we'll lose if we don't win. I intend to win.

Now for some good news: Brigitte Gabriele's group ACT is having it's first town hall meeting tomorrow and the last I heard last week there were over 700 people signed up to attend the phone meeting and to get our marching orders. Dougie, Niwad, Beavis and Butthead, just a warning...we're coming to get YOU! Stick that in your Holy Land Foundation and suck it up!

One more thing, for those who gather here and in remembrance of those who have fallen, please say a prayer for Dominick who passed away this past year while fighting the Jihad in his home country of England.

This site by Robert Spencer, Hugh, Marisol, Greg, and all who contribute here is one of the most informative and enlightening forums I had come across for better understanding Islam and the Muslim mind. There is no greater asset for understanding this aggressive-regressive 1400 year cultural Jihad once again plaguing our world, to subdue us and enslave, than to dialogue and freely exchange our ideas. Connecting the dots revealed a Beast with many heads and many arms--theocracy, tyranny, and terror; Saudi da'wa, Ikhwan fifth columnists, and a confederacy of hate; al-Qaeda, HAMAS, Hezbollah, the Revolutionary Guards, Jamiat al-Islamiya, the Brotherhood; in multiplicity, they are legion. It was a profoundly unsettling revelation; it cost me some sleep, initially.
