In the Ontario elections this week, Mr. Tory and his Conservative party were very thoroughly trounced by the Liberal Party. It may have been in part to his proposal that finnacial support be offered to all faith-based schools. This is all about the minds and hearts or the young. It has been said many different ways on the forum. The war is psychological primarily. This appeals to those that have no moral base of right and wrong. As perverted as it seems it addresses needs that are not being meet in the society they live in.
Once they recruit and talk some of these same people to blow themselves up. This strengths the others into a special group. The same thing happens in our combat units when engaged in a fight. The protest, murder and violent bombings have a psychological bend to them. Effecting those that are not followers. Some will be convinced to become active. Others will simply not be involved but because of peer pressure will say nothing. More needs to be said in the public about this.
I believe what we are seeing in England is the fruit of many years of this going unchecked. Not sure but I think the US is a few years behind but it is at work here as well.
