Federal prosecutors have filed additional charges against Adnan Mirza, one of the four Muslim students accused of preparing to join the Taliban to fight U.S.-led forces overseas.Mirza, 30, was accused of planning to engage in "battlefield jihad" in the Middle East and financially supporting the terrorism group....
The charges include 10 firearm possession offenses, the alleged purchase of ammunition at a gun show for use during a paramilitary exercise and two conspiracy counts related to the training and financial support. He is accused of failing to secure a work visa before starting a job and overstaying his visa.
The indictment also alleges that $1,000 earmarked for Taliban fighters and their families passed through Mirza's hands.
Mirza, who had been studying biomedical technology at Houston Community College before his arrest last November, engaged in firearms training eight times at Houston-area campsites and shooting ranges from May 2005 through June 2006, the indictment alleges.
Why would a student of biomedical technology want to join the jihad? Doesn't poverty and alienation cause jihad? What's that? Study after study has shown that jihadists are generally wealthier and better educated than their peers, and that they're actually ideologically motivated? What are you, some kind of Islamophobe?
I have a problem with 30 year old community college students in general, but surely 30 year old students from the Middle East should set off alarm bells somewhere?

He also allegedly purchased ammunition at one of those evil gun shows. The Democrats will close the so called gun show loop hole by piling so much red tape, costs, and liability that the loop hole will close because no promotor will ever have a gun show.

And just think these four and others like them are end products of one very simple sentence, and a lie...'There is no Ilah but Allah, and Mohammad is his messenger'. But this is a compressed idea, that when opened up, all kinds of things spring from it, jihad is one of them. Islam, sharia, jihad, have all born of this lie. Submission means to accept the lie as the truth, and to renounce everything outside of it.
The lie knows it is a lie, and forever seeks to cover up, so it invents taqiyya, kitman, jihad and severe punishments for who may stray.
The mental warp that comes with submission, is to believe that the Islamic point of view is the correct one, and all other points of view must be subdued or eliminated. Jihad is in the 'elimination' business, so these four muslim jihadis, want to fight and 'eliminate' Americans. That they want to do that overseas 'first' is not a defense.
This is a very sound concept. 'Elimination is the source of power'. This means to eliminate everything that is not pertinent to the goal. In this case it is world domination. Islam is in the perpetual elimination business, thats what jihad, CAIR, the M Brotherhood, ect are all about.
And it is all based on the lie as stated above.
If you tell a big enough lie, and repeat it often enough, people will soon start believing it...Ain't that the truth...

"Battlefield jihad?" In contra-distinction, I guess, to "non-battlefield jihad?" It seems specialization for Mohammedans (I know they don't like this term----that's why I use it) has now become the order of the day.
The solution of course is to import more Muslims into out country, and enrole even more Muslim students into our school systems.
After all, isn't diversity, multiculturalism and inclusion the answers to everything?

No one should be surprised, either, if it turns out that the Department of Homeland 'Security', in its bureaucratic wisdom, actually turned out to be the source of financing for the mosque(s)and/or Islamic organizations responsible for these students' radicalization. It's no secret that the bureaucrats of this department have recently been awarding millions in grant money to mosques and other Islamic organizations. It's only a matter of time before these US government-laid eggs begin to hatch terrorist activities in America--if they haven't already.
