I think the answer for Americans is to start on the grass roots level. We are still at an early stage and I think our fight against Islam here at home can be won bloodlessly if we all act now.

This is not an isolated incident. There are numerous acting jihad, 'staged' incidents. Probably there are some that got in under the radar and are still believed.
Acting jihad is a very important weapon in the jihadi bag of tricks. It goes beyond making fraudulent videos, almost every aspect of Islam is an act. 'Playing' the victim, is an act, trolls who come here, are 'acting', and 'playing a role' in Jihad The Movie. Jihad is 'acting' in the cause of Allah. Tiqiyya artists are 'acting'. The whole of Islam is one big stage play. 'All the world is a stage and all the people on it actors'. A guy named Shaky Spear, said that long ago, and it especially pertains to Islam.
So I am not surprised at their skill in acting out Islam, muslims get a lot of practice.
Maybe Frank is right that there should be some kind of recognition for outstanding Islamic acting ability...Rage Boy for instance deserves some kind of award. And Hooper has delivered numerous fine performances. Beasty Boy Ahmadinijad's acting ability is unsurpassed. They are all actors, and arrangers of dramatic events.

I'm afraid it has been much worse than that. The al-Dura incident was one of the major flash points of the Second Intefada--at least 1,000 Israelis dead in terrorist attacks and casualties incurred in hunting terrorists.
In addition, the al-Dura case is frequently cited as moral equivalence between Jihadis and those fighting them.
I'm up in Berkeley pretty frequently. You see fliers for events or protests all the time emblazoned with images of al-Dura's alleged killing. It has done a great deal of damage.

So the demand in western universities and media with left wing agendas is NOT for pictures of palestinian atrocities but for the slighest hint of an Israeli outrage.
This is the status that the biased press would want to establish with its western readers from the BBC to the NYT.
