POLITICALLY correct MoD officials are to issue free hijabs to female Muslim troops — while front line soldiers are having to buy their own kit.Under new service dress regulations, six of the Islamic hijabs will be given to each Muslim servicewoman wanting them.
But it has sparked fury amid an MoD cash crisis. Squaddies also claim the hand-out is unfair as they pay out of their own pockets to observe strict military dress rules.
The Sun can also reveal that so far, NONE of the ten serving female Muslims even wants to wear hijabs at work.
But MoD officials have ordered a batch of 95 — costing hundreds to the taxpayer — just in case new recruits do.
One serving NCO told The Sun last night: “It’s stupid officials being too PC again, spending money on pointless things rather than on the front line.”...
Earlier this year squaddies in Iraq were forced to buy their own kit.
One dog handler forked out £85 for new boots after his feet were left in agony by ill-fitting kit.
Of course this could be a double bluff. Raise outrage now and they are already headed off at the pass...so to speak. I like to think in this silly season some of our people know what they are doing.
Actually this seems in line with the Elitist goals of surrendering as quickly as they can to Sharia... They hope to ride the Tiger of Islamic Fury to install themselves at the top of a new Fascist dictatorship based on P.C.B.S. and multiculturalism.

Sadly, I have to agree with you. Many many years ago when I was a boy, I used to read Hornblower books, set at a time when the Royal navy ruled the world. A mere hint or rumour that the Royal navy was going to take some action was enough to make most protagonists head for the nearest safe port. And now we have a navy that surrenders at the drop of a hat, and its sailors cry themselves to sleep because their Ipod was impounded by the enemy.

OK, tet us think positively. Remember the female Royan navy sailor captured by the Iranians, and subsequently decked out in a hijab? Maybe the MoD is planning to send female Muslim sailors in their next patrole in Gulf waters, hoping, that when they are captured, Iranians will be more compassionate.

The British soldier like the American soldier is recruited from the working class, like the American soldier they are loyal and patriotic, and when the chips are down will give as good as they take. One of the good things that Muslims teach there children is loyalty to there religion not the state. Muslims don't tend to Join the British Army. Muslims are underrepresented in the British Armed forces. This does not represent the British Army, this is a government dictate. This piece of Blather is a political decision, issued by a labor party that is looking for votes. Muslims vote labor en block, votes mean you stay in power. That by the way is the first commandment of a politician, stay in power what ever the consequences. Nearly all political decisions are short term. Politicians normally have a window of approximately 10 year within which to try and climb the greasy pole to the top. Once at the top they will say anything to stay there. Most have no sense of History, and certainly have not learned history at school or University. Churchill certainly did, this is what made him so effective, he wrote approximately 40 books most of them history books, for which he received the Nobel prize for Literature. Now if you good Americans would stop bitching over this trivia, and check out your Presidential candidates and vote for the one that has a degree in History you might do us all a favor. You might like to try studying it yourselves. Hugh and Robert are effective, basically because they are historians. Now please give us a break.

You're analysis of modern politicians is spot on. They are only interested in staying in power rather than doing what is right. After all, power equals money.
Gordon Brown's refusal to call an election because he thought he might lose is a perfect example. The arrogance is astounding.
Just think about the implications of his decision: he was concerned that another political party might be more popular, therefore he denied the people the opportunity of proving it. That doesn't sound like democracy to me.
However, as the three "mainstream" political parties are virtually indistinguishable from one another, it matters very little which of them is in power. All three are determined to pursue their agendas of cultural Marxism, surrender sovereignty to Europe and foment shame for our nation's past achievements. Their unspoken slogan of choice is "Not Proud to be British".

I don't think we know exactly who in the MoD made this decision, but it is of course possible that person is not some pathetic dhimmi, but a Muslim. it is also possible that the same person has made other decisions which are actively contrary to the interests of British forces, and will continue to do so.

islamic women in the military of the West. I wouldn't trust them for any reason. THeir loyalty is never to a country, but to islam and mecca. A soldier wouldn't know when a "buddy" will turn on them - shoot them or hold them down for the enemy to kill.
