NEARLY simultaneous blasts outside courts in three northern Indian cities killed at least 10 people in what a senior government official said were terrorist strikes.Police said the blasts were reported from Lucknow, Varanasi and Faizabad, all in the populous state of Uttar Pradesh.
Brij Lal, a senior state police officer, told local television that 10 people had been killed; three in Faizabad and seven in Varanasi....
“I believe it is the handiwork of groups who are trying to spread terror in our country,” junior Home Minister Sriprakash Jaiswal said.
India has been hit by blasts frequently in recent years and most of them have been blamed by investigators on Pakistan-based Islamist militant groups fighting against Indian rule in Kashmir....
While Lucknow is the capital of the state, Varanasi is a popular Hindu pilgrimage centre.
At least 15 people were killed and 60 wounded there in three explosions in 2006.
Faizabad is a twin city of Ayodhya, a Hindu holy centre where hardline Hindu groups razed an ancient mosque in 1992, saying it was built on the birthplace of Hindu god-king Ram.
Ayodhya has since been a flashpoint for Hindu-Muslim tensions across the country and the disputed site was also targeted by suspected Muslim militants in 2005.
Outside the Lucknow court, where police said the explosive was attached to a motorcycle, lawyers gathered after the blast to shout “Down with Pakistan”.
The lawyers said they suspected the blast was in retaliation for an attack by a mob on three suspected militants of a Pakistani-based group when they appeared in court a few days ago....
The Muslim (Arab, Persian flunkies) invasion of India centuries ago resulted in a mayhem and murder on a scale that that is quite similar to the Nazis in eastern Europe in WW2. The Muslims came very close to destroying the Hindu culture of the indigenous people there. Some Indians Pakistaned-up their indigenous culture as they were forced to bow to the gas station.
In many ways the introduction of forced I-slam into India is similar to the British introduction of protestants into Catholic Ireland and has created a sectarian strife that is horrible. The people of India (including Pakistan and Bangladesh) would have been better off if the Muslim Arabs and Persian convert-flunkies had never brought their evil shadow to India. The result is an Indian Ireland with nukes.
It is true that all of history is the pattern of invaders coming in and displacing or subduing indigenous cultures and such destruction of the indigenous people's culture is often accompanied by genocide and mass murder. The I-slammers did that in India. However, for sheer unapologetic and un-self-critical Imperialism (actually far more brutal than British Imperialism), Arab based I-slam beats all. The destruction they did in India can only be compared to that done by Pizzaro in Peru. Arab Imperialist I-slam (unlike Spain)takes no responsibility for its crimes against the Asian Indian people, including the crime of forced conversion of Hindu Indians there.
Uniformity of targets plus simultaneity makes it impossible for this to be anything but a coordinated terrorist attack, specifically against India's justice system.
India's Muslim population, though at 13.43% a much smaller percentage than its Hindus, is still highly significant. It's well over 100 million people. What fraction of these denizens of the world's largest democracy are terrorists or active supporters of terrorism? And what could India possibly do to neutralize that fraction, other than expel every known Muslim from its soil?
The necessity of an international quarantine of Islam is becoming inescapable.
The muslim population in India is currently estimated at 160m. That's a huge number,bigger than the population of Pakistan. With this size a muslim population anywhere starts calling the shots.In democratic India, they are in the pole position.

It was an evil day when the I-slammers showed up in India. Their destruction of the indigenous Hindu culture there has created an Irish sectarian strife with nukes. It would be one India (including Pakistan-up-our-indigenous-Hindu-culture and Bang-la-dosh-out-of-our-indigenous-Hindu-culture) if the I-slammers had not invaded India. When the Arabs and the former Zoroastrians showed up they may have brought with then a nuclear devil that will be let loose in our time.
The Arabs should be required to pay reparations to all of India for what they have done in bringing I-slam there. They brought a catastrophe to the Hindu Indian and formerly Hindu people there. This "I-slam is a religion of peace" is a criminal lie.

Actually, the point is, most of them probably do. At least in North and East India violence due to Islam is hard to ignore when you can see it on first or second hand. I knew from experience that Islam was an unusually violent 'religion' but only recently (from jihadwatch etc.) did I learn that these things were actually mandated by the Koran and 'prophet' Mo was a gangster. I suspect Indian politicians have never read the Koran etc. and can't understand where the violence is coming from. Politics in India is a matter of muslim vote bank appeasement nothing else.

This Glen Beck comment reminds me of Lincoln Steffens' saying in 1919 that the Soviet Union was a workers paradise and "I have seen the future-and it works". Steffens saw what he desired to see.
The Quran is set-up longest to shortest verse, but what matters is chronological order. Later verses that contradict earlier verses (as in wine is good, alcohol is later banned) are abrogated by the later verse. The last orders (which complete supplant the earlier chronological "peaceful verses") are orders to convert, kill or reduce unbelievers to Dhimmi status. The so-called "peaceful verses" are meaningless, just as Lenin and Stalin's "worker's paradise" propaganda was meaningless in reality.
Frank - your idea that the Arab Muslims should pay reparations to India is great. I don't see much chance of it happening, but still. ALL the Arab oil revenues for the remainder of the lifespan of the existing reserves might begin to come near the value of the human and natural productivity - including forests - and the infrastructure and art treasures that were systematically destroyed by the Muslims when they invaded, and while they occupied, India. (The Muslim historians gloat, shamelessly, about the truckloads of jewels and pretty girls they stole).
The non-Muslim Africans would also have a pretty substantial case to make against the Arab Muslims. Think what Africa might have been if the Muslim slavers hadn't, for century after century, removed so many healthy young boys from the gene pool - removing their potential intelligence and inventiveness, removing their creative labour (which could otherwise have benefited their home communities), removing the communities' ability to defend themselves, depriving millions of women of mates. And, indeed, by castrating so many millions of boys, deliberately diminishing the human gene pool, period - considered in the long term, such actions are, even from a strictly nonreligious darwinian point of view, suicidal. Reduce diversity and you cripple the species' capacity to survive, change and grow. (Just like the polygamy and obsessive inbreeding of Islamised societies are also counter-productive, in the long term, because they reduce diversity).
Are there any plans to translate Robert Spencer's books about Islam, especially the 'PIG to Islam and the Crusades' and 'The Truth About Muhammad', into, say, Hindi and three or four other major regional languages of India? Lots of Indians speak and read English pretty well, but something you read or hear in your mother tongue always has a more powerful and direct impact.
Aside, to all non-Muslim Indians, and persons of non-Muslim Indian descent, reading and posting here, my sincere condolences on the suffering caused by this latest murderous Muslim jihad raid against your country and your citizens. May justice be done. May the evildoers be caught and punished. May the families of the murdered people be comforted.

Translation of Robert Spencer's books and other such works into Hindi and other Indian languages is a great idea to raise awareness about Islamic doctrines. Actually, Hindus with access to the internet and the Indian diaspora in western countries is aware of this. But the widespread notions of "All religions are equal", "All religions take you to the same God" etc need to be defeated because Islam is clearly an evil, bloodthirsty death cult. The former notion is an easy way out for pacifist dhimmis, an excuse for escapism, an avoidance of "confrontation" until we're all overwhelmed by the islamic pestilence.
Yet, such books will be banned immediately by the dhimmis in the Indian government. Similar works in English by
K.S Lal, Sitaram Goel, Ram Swarup etc are banned in India till date. But, this literature could be translated by the vernacular press and distributed without attracting attention from the dhimmi English language media.

India's biggest tragedy was in not trading all its Destroyers to Pakistan for Hindus when it was still possible. This mistake will probably cause the downfall of that nation as its Destroyer population continues to zoom upward with the usual predictable results.

The biggest mistake we did was to not push all the muslims into Pakistan in 1947. Right now we have a very dhimmi govt, but hopefully that will be rectified in 2009. The current govt is weak and pathetic and everyone derides it, not only for muslim appeasement reasons but a host of controversial things. NDA will come back to power in the next election, I am sure.
Translation of Robert Spencer's books into Hindi/other Indian languages would be quite pointless because most educated Indians know English and the Hindi translation might 'offend muslims' and get both the translation and the original banned. Dhimmi govt ya know :(
There is continuing beating about the bush for containing and eradicating Muslims , Quran and Islam. The politicians world over it seems have vested interests in keeping it alive to perpetuate themselves. Or else how does one explain the continuing existence of this . There will never be any peace in this world as long as quran exists even if they achieve their goal of universal victory in imposing Islam all over the world. Because quran will still exist and will be renewed with new damaging verses. Quran derives its energy from Mecca and Medina. Its here that one has to strike if one wants peace in the world. The mother and father of all ills and diseases is there.
