A Chechen Muslim rebel leader is reported to have described the US, Britain and Israel as legitimate targets in a jihad, or holy war.Doku Umarov said it was not just the Russian security forces who deserved to be attacked.
The separatist leader said all those who fight Muslims anywhere in the world were enemies.
Other Chechen separatists have denounced the statement, which was sent to US-backed Radio Liberty.
It was made earlier this month, apparently to coincide with the birthday of Russian President Vladimir Putin, but a video of it has only just been received by the radio station.
Mr Umarov said: "Our brothers are fighting in Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia and Palestine.
"Our common enemies are all those who have attacked Muslims wherever they are.
"Not only Russia, but also the USA, the UK, Israel and all those waging war against Islam and Muslims are our enemies."
There are Arabs fighting in Chechnya -- Arabs of all, indiscriminate, kinds. There were Pakistanis in "Palestinian" camps during the Lebanese Civil War. There are Sudanese Arabs in Iraq. It's not so much mix-n'-match, as it is Team Islam, the Camp of Islam, doing what comes naturally, since the oil money, and the millions of migrants, and the technological advances that not only spread the full message but offer inspirational scenes of torture and decapitation, that work wonders as recruiting posters (The Prophet Muhammad Wants You!).
But this is one more thing that is not to be noticed by Western commentators. They are to pass over in silence the way in which terrorist Muslim groups, wherever they are, and whatever particular Local or Lesser Jihad they deck out for Infidels as merely a nationalist uprising -- in the case of the "Palestinians" they had to take those local Arabs, and even invent, post-1967, a nationality for them (that's how the "Palestinian people" were born), in order to make the disguising of that particular Lesser Jihad a little easier.
Oh, for god's sake. That one has to keep pointing out the obvious is annoying. We need comic or musical or cinematic or literary or artistic relief -- brief, but relief -- at this site. I think I'm going to supply it.
But Putin constantly defends Iran. Shouldn't he get some brownie points from the Chechens for that?

Let’s face it. Muslims are not our friends anywhere and should not be trusted anywhere. If they are not active enemies then they are potential enemies of all non-Muslims (as is clear by their own Koran & Hadiths). In hindsight Americans should never have backed Mujahideen in Afghanistan against the Russians (big mistake), nor should the West want Kosovo independence or Turkey in the EU. The lethal problem isn’t any “radical” Muslim types, it’s the cult itself:

I believe that the Western World should strive through argument and laws to draw Muslims away from this pernicious mind-snatching fraud and bring about an eventual (peaceful) end to Islam. But how to bring our sellout politicians around to act? IMO the biggest obstacle is the presence of large numbers of “moderate” Muslims which tend to disarm and encourage people to believe in the possible peaceful coexistence of this cult within their culture & government. IMO the only hope is constant education without the PC qualifications about the good & lovable "moderate Muslims". Face it, anyone who believes the three quotes from the Quran above (or even one of them) is not “moderate” no matter how pleasant his or her smile.

Russkies have maintained a good relationship with iran. Iran has never backed the Chechen rebels who are quite bitter about the lack of support from their mohametan brothers.

Comic relief--if mockery, clownishness, hyperbole, and farce would help provide some (puerile, not tasteless), then I'll try pitching in. The futility of being an anonymous comedian in the face of tyranny, appeasement, and surrender appeals to me.

I am impressed with Robert's careful choice of words, so your question sent me to my dictionary to learn more. "INTERIOR," Sense 2, speaks of "belonging to mental or spiritual life ." "INTERNAL," on the other hand, when referring to an individual, speaks of the tangible or physical nature, mind, or parts within. I guess, then, that "interior" is the more precise word.
A pro-Uighur (!) Western reporter had recently written about an Uighur man in China defiantly declaring to him: "Bin Laden hao" ("hao" means "good"), "Saddam hao, Arafat hao". It is global: not a separate jihad against the Chinese only, or Russians only, or Thais only, etc. There are no "their jihadists" or "our jihadists". The Global Jihad is the greatest threat to the entire humanity.

They are always the victims. Un-freaking-believable. No one is killing innocent Muslims in the street. No one is cutting the heads off little Muslims girls on the way to school and dumping their bodies in the schoolyard. No one is committing ethnic cleansing against any Muslim land. No one is giving Muslims a "submit to our religion or be killed" ultimatum. No one is rioting in the streets of numerous countries, carrying signs and screaming "Death to Muslims", "Death to Arabs". No one is putting a price on the head of Muslims because they offend other people's religions. No one is screaming for Muslim blood over cartoons.
