The strange alliance between the left and reactionary Muslims has taken center stage in the campaign leading up to tomorrows national elections for a new parliament in Denmark.Asmaa Abdol-Hamid, a 25 year old social worker and islamist, is running for the extreme left wing party Enhedslisten. Last year she was behind a lawsuit against Jyllands-Posten trying to have the newspaper indicted for blasphemy after the publication of cartoons depicting the prophet Mohammed.
I wonder how many leftists since the birth of socialism as a political movement have been involved in lawsuits against people offending the Christian faith? Not many, I gather.
If elected, Asmaa Abdol-Hamid will be the first Muslim woman wearing the veil to address Denmark’s parliament. At the same time, citing her faith, she refuses to shake hands with individuals of the other sex. When a female leader of the party was asked how she would react if a man refused to shake hands with her, she insisted that she would welcome it. Fortunately, this kind of hypocricy is obvious to quite a few people on the left, and in opinion polls the party has dropped below the minimum 2 pct. of the votes required for representation in parliament....
Gladly it seems that the islamist Ghoul Asmaa Abdol-Hamid didn’t receive enough votes to get a seat in parliament, though her party of the extreme left did pass the threshold of 2 pct., but they lost 2 seats. She may, though, get a seat if she receives more than 10.000 personal votes. On election night Asmaa Abdol-Hamid indicated that she may leave politics, if this doesn’t materialize, so this time around it looks like Denmark will not have to deal with a Muslim member of parliament wearing the veil while addressing the nation.

Denmark: Muslim Tortures Woman For "Being Christian"

This is the shed where the woman was held captive and tortured
A 19 year old woman managed Sunday evening to escape from her torturer, a Danish citizen of Lebanese background.
She had been held captive for 9 days in a shed in the Sydhavnen district of Copenhagen where she had been beaten with an electric cable and subjected to other acts of violence by her boyfriend, a 19 year old Danish citizen from Lebanon. Sunday afternoon she managed to break out of her prison, climbed a fence and broke into a store, where she found a telephone and called her family.
The woman is now in hospital with extensive body damages. She had received almost nothing to eat and drink during the nine days. She has bruises from the beating and burns from cigarettes and from molten plastic that has been dripped onto her body. Her front teeth are knocked out, she has bleedings in both eyes, she has stab wounds all over her body and possibly a broken mandible. Part of her hair is burned away and her finger and toe nails are damaged, probably caused by pliers according to the police. A piece of her right thumb is missing.
She has extensive burn lesions on her legs from previous episodes of violence. The burns are caused by boiling water according to her own statement.
The violence has taken place over a period of one year, but has escalated drastically during the last month, according to the girl. The man threatened to kill her family if she reported him. Also, he has forbidden her to speak to her mother, because she is a Christian.
She is now under police protection, from fear that the family of the young man will try to harm her.

Just finshed reading the full story,and the Danish version has nothing extra to add.
And Gates of Vienna is reporting that the post service is refusing to deliver political newspapers that carry the Modoggie cartoons.
Why is that alliance strange? It's a natural alliance-mindless leftism gave birth to PC, which in turn allows Islamania to thrive and expand. There's nothing strange about it.
Sounds like the idiotic "Respect" party in the UK.
Asmaa hasn't received enough personal votes for her to be elected to parliament.
The "extreme"(think it's a bit of a stretch to call it an extreme party, just as I think it's a bit of a stretch to call the Danish People Party an extreme party) left-wing party, Enhedslisten, only just made it with 2.2% of the votes. If they continue supporting candidates like Asmaa, then I'm sure they'll be out of parliament next election.
The alliance between the political leftists in the western democracies and Islam has been in effect since the Soviet KGB made common cause with Islam several decades ago (Arafat was on the KGB's payroll at least as early as the 1960s).
And as we all can now observe, the left's alliance with Islam has been undermining the western democracies ever since (too many socialists have been calling the shots in western democratic governments). So even in America this "strange alliance" is very noticeable.
It won't be only the left that comes to regret this usavory relationship, it is going to be pretty much the entire world.
