Yesterday I spoke on a panel on "The State of Jihad" with the estimable Steven Emerson, Melanie Phillips, and Douglas Murray. I am honored to be in such company. For security reasons it was not filmed, which is a pity as it was one of the most informative panels I've ever had the privilege to be part of. Phillips spoke about the deep denial of the causes and magnitude of jihadist activity in Britain, and Emerson about the same thing in the U.S. Then I discussed the implications and effects of that denial -- notably the Nada Nadim Prouty espionage case and its connection through her brother-in-law to the AAI and the political mainstream. Murray then concluded with some important observations about the situation in Britain and globally.
Yesterday the Iranian dissident Amir Abbas Fakhravar, with whom I had the honor of speaking at DePaul University during Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week, was presented with the Annie Taylor Award. Today I am looking forward to hearing from the courageous and eloquent Wafa Sultan, Nonie Darwish and others about the status of women in Islam, among a great deal more.

Well, it was too much intelligence to be stuffed into one body anyway, so it really should surprise no one.

What they mean is that you are both outdoor cats, not pets such as Armstrong, Espoharpo, etc. A lot of people are not comfortable with that. Horowitz is also an outdoor cat.
It is not surprising that the deceivers (Fibrahim Hooper, Ed-209 Lakovic, CAIR-liars, U-mar-truth eeL ("I call Spencer a racist and then hurl racial slurs at an African American officer (watch the tape) when he tells me (politely) to move my fat ass")etc., are reality challenged. I think the habit of deception alters perception by changing brain patters. This causes immense damage to the ability (Bonhoeffer style) to separate fact-truth from lies and to think logically. The constant deception causes the deciever to believe their own lies and to be vulnerable to lies. They become Reverend Jim Nutters and believe in Jim Nutters.
Deception is in the DNA of this belief-system. For example, there is no question that the Quran targets Unbelievers (especially Jews). The Quran is a hymn of hate and a rationalization for deception and exploitation of Kuffirs. In answer to this truth Muslims deceive unbelievers by pointing to "peaceful verses", but they do not tell the whole truth: the Quran is set-up longest to shortest verse, what matters is chronological order and the last orders are to convert, kill or reduce unbelievers to Dhimmi status. It is what it is.
Muslim deception is extremely damaging to their minds. It acts like a drug in altering perception of reality.

The later orders of the Quran abrogate its earlier chronological orders (as in wine is good, but alcohol is later banned). The "peaceful verses" of the Quran are meaningless. The Jihadists are the honest ones here.

That would have made you the master of literary versatility, switching from one neutral style of writing to a very idiosyncratic other, and a genius at switching on and off the anacolutha. I must say that whenever I read a Hugh post I know it is him from the first sentence.

...come to think of it, I've never seen Mr. Fitzgerald's photo on this site--only Mr. Spencer's.
I say keep the ambiguity alive--a bit of mystery is always a good thing.

They believe their own lies. They are truly victims of Islamic thinking. It produces a mind that often verges on paranoia.
I'm certain that very many of the chuckle-heads (Fibrahim Hooper, etc.) run like hell from Robert. They hide from themselves by a pose of indignation and arrogance (which is a cover for doubt about their beliefs). They must deceive and act indignant-arrogant. They cannot deal with reality and do a heck of a lot of projection (U-Mar-truth-eeL style). Their deceptions, permissions to deception, alters perception.
(Dietrich Bonhoeffer was right that we must literally learn to think and speak in a pattern that sharply separates fact-truth from lie-falsehood. It requires effort to overcome Fibrahim (Jim Nutter's pal) Hooper style habits of thought.)

I don't know re what difference they might have but the fur will fly if they cross paths in differences. Their souls are similar. Prudence is virtue, too.
Hugh & Robert have a good time ! I know you'll do a great job. I wish I could be there.
Regardless of what they say, Hugh is a manifestation of Robert's multiple personality complex.
One day I asked Robert, How are you today, and Robert said "fine". Robert then went into a phone booth, and in thirty seconds, Hugh came out.
I was surprised, but to be polite I said hello and asked Hugh how he was. Hugh whereupon, proceeded to give a 10 minute discourse on historical implications on "how are you today". Hugh is definitely Robert's long winded alter ego.

Anyway, I would caution my fellow Jihadwatchers away from buying into this shctick. I phoned all three Restoration Hardware locations in the Greater Miami area and no such convention has taken place; furthermore, after extensive interrogations, the supervisors of these locations proved themselves clueless as to concepts of Ijtihad, Taqqiyah and the permutations of the Celtic Cross.
I've long suspected that Robert Spencer and Hugh Fitzgerald were merely different manifestations of a greater entity known to the ancient Cimmerians as Hubert Fitzspencer and this latest attempted obfuscation by "Robert Spencer" only strengthens my suspicions.

I have always admired Hugh Fitzgerald, because he understands Europe and what is it that makes Europe special and why Europe has a special place in the hearts of Americans. I know that he is right when he talks about muslims invading the lands of indigenous infidels and I know that he is right in criticizing Haider and Le Pen, because these two are more interested in their own popularity than the essential task facing us, meaning the global jihad.
Hugh has also been the one pointing out the fact that jihad is waged in many different ways. It is not waged in the deserts of Iraq as much as it is waged in the streets of European cities. The latter is, of course, the more important jihad.

This is more serious than I thought. Although my suspicions regarding Hubert Fitzspencer have proven to be unfounded, new information has come to light which should be cause for grave concern.

After several minutes of hard-nosed and in-depth googling, I'm satisfied that the event in Miami has indeed taken place; pictures and commentary can be found at TMZ and HollywoodInsider.com- Drudge hasn't posted them yet but they should be up in no time. If you have the time you should check out some of the great photos there. My favorite was the one with Spencer sitting at table raising his shotglass in a toast with Salman Rushdie, Frank Stallone and a ceramic pot containing the charred remains of Norman Mailer. Also, you can see Front Page Magazine's own Jamie Glazov, leading a Samba line with David Horowitz, Salma Hayek, Ivana Trump and members of the Bulgarian women's volleyball team.(Horowitz looks hilarious in that Batman suit!) There's a great shot of Hugh mixing drinks at the bar while being fawned over by Natalie Portman, Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp- I always knew Hugh resembled a mid-50's Gregory Peck. You can also check out some video of Marisol signing autographs and reminiscing about her experiences as a supporting actress in Sergio Leone's Fistfull of Dollars. Apparently there was a booth where at 5 bucks a pop, you could debate a life-size cardboard replica of Dinesh D'Souza on topics ranging from: the difference in head-chopping technique practiced by "traditional muslims" as opposed to that practised by "radical muslims", the true sexual orientation of Ann Coulter, and which tactic is more useful in hijacking a debate- the "strawman argument" or the "red herring"? So, as we can see, the Restoration Weekend has indeed taken place; was highly informative and fun for all.

My highly classified undercover mole at the Helsinki Foundation for the Supression of This and the Promotion of That has obtained leaked information regarding the Nephilim and the counter-jihad movement; along with other documents given to him by Sandy Berger. It seems that the Nephilim and their Alien allies who have a stake in the successful Islamization of the globe, have become alarmed at the recent events of the last five months. My source can't name names, but already, they've abducted "a prominent American neo-conservative blogger", reprogrammed his synapses and have re-released him into the blogosphere with his mission to divide the Counter-Jihad movement by casting aspersions based on slander and hateful innuendo and the stifling of open debate by thuggish bully-boy verbal pile-ons.

I'm glad to see that Melanie Phillips is beginning to be appreciated on this side of the Atlantic. There are very few more articulate voices on the dangers of Islamism. Her book "Londonistan" should be required reading for every American.
