Iranians celebrate US embassy siege

Happy anniversary! The charming festivities featured chants of “Death to America” and “Death to Israel,” as young Iranians whom Western analysts fondly assume will soon overthrow the mullahcracy celebrated the criminal act that was one of the earliest salvos in this latest round of the ongoing jihad. From AFP (thanks to JE):

Thousands of young Iranians proclaimed “Death to America” yesterday as they celebrated the 28th anniversary of the storming of the US embassy in Tehran by student radicals.

A massive crowd, composed mainly of schoolchildren bussed in to central Tehran, gathered outside the site of the former US embassy, known locally as the “Den of Spies”.

“Death to America, death to Israel,” the young people shouted, wearing bibs that depicted the burning of the US and Israeli flags.

Umm . . . have you ever read a better reason to stop immigration from Iran? We must protect ourselves. We must protect our unique and fragile culture. Take out the nukes facilities and lift the drawbridge now!!!

  2. says

    I have a better idea…
don’t have to take out their nuke facilities even if they are secure…
…take out their oil refineries…all of them.
Then take out all the major power grid junctions (which are surprisingly few, and NONE are connceted to their “peaceful” nuke plants at all)

They have to ration fuels as it is, and import over 40% of their gasoline/diesel, etc…and that’s a mega-strain as it is…
this would cut their refined fuels by 60%-the economy would crash…

…there wouldn’t even be enough fuel to power up emergency generators (and even they wouldn’t be enough to offset the need for power enormous enough to produce the fissile material-which requires a LOT of power, which generators do not have) thus rendering their nuke facilities impotent.

…irans economy will crash long before they could get things up and running again.

…best of all, it would also expose the cut-throat backstabbing pseudo-allies who claim to be on our side, but have been playing both ends against the middle the whole time (namely the euroweenies who are just as much “allies” as pakistan & saudi) making them fess up (by their reactions) as to whose side they’re REALLY on.
Of course, they’d hide behind the secondary issue of loss of oil (masquerading it as primary issue when it’s their treachery that’s primary), and give them even more convenient excuse to hate us (as if they haven’t all along).

But…since that won’t happen, no sense dwelling on it, no matter how effective it is.
Our maximum leaders don’t use the common sense KISS principle anymore, thanks to the wonderful world of political correctness.

From a very interesting article at frontpagemagazine.com, here is an excerpt:

The Center for the Study of Political Islam is a group of scholars who are devoted to the scientific study of the foundational texts of Islam — Koran, Sira (life of Mohammed) and Hadith (traditions of Mohammed). There are two areas to study in Islam, its doctrine and history, or as CSPI sees it”the theory and its results. We study the history to see the practical or experimental results of the doctrine.

CSPI seems to be the first group to use statistics to study the doctrine…

Our first principle is that Koran, Sira and Hadith must be taken as a whole. We call them the Islamic Trilogy to emphasize the unity of the texts.

    […]

Endless ink has been wasted on trying to answer the question of what is Islam? Is Islam the religion of peace? Or is the true Islam a radical ideology? Is a moderate Muslim the real Muslim?

This reminds a scientist of the old arguments about light. Is light a particle or is light a wave? The arguments went back and forth. Quantum mechanics gave us the answer. Light is dualistic; it is both a particle and a wave. It depends upon the circumstances as to which quality manifests. Islam functions in the same manner.

Our first clue about the dualism is in the Koran, which is actually two books, the Koran of Mecca (early) and the Koran of Medina (later). The insight into the logic of the Koran comes from the large numbers of contradictions in it. On the surface, Islam resolves these contradictions by resorting to “abrogation”. This means that the verse written later supersedes the earlier verse. But in fact, since the Koran is considered by Muslims to be the perfect word of Allah, both verses are sacred and true. The later verse is “better,” but the earlier verse cannot be wrong since Allah is perfect. This is the foundation of dualism. Both verses are “right.” Both sides of the contradiction are true in dualistic logic. The circumstances govern which verse is used.

    (…)

All of Western logic is based upon the law of contradiction”if two things contradict, then at least one of them is false. But Islamic logic is dualistic; two things can contradict each other and both are true.

No dualistic system may be measured by one answer. This is the reason that the arguments about what constitutes the “real” Islam go on and on and are never resolved. A single right answer does not exist.

Dualistic systems can only be measured by statistics. It is futile to argue one side of the dualism is true. As an analogy, quantum mechanics always gives a statistical answer to all questions.

For an example of using statistics, look at the question: what is the real jihad, the jihad of inner, spiritual struggle or the jihad of war? Let’s turn to Bukhari (the Hadith) for the answer, as he repeatedly speaks of jihad. In Bukhari 97% of the jihad references are about war and 3% are about the inner struggle. So the statistical answer is that jihad is 97% war and 3% inner struggle. Is jihad war? Yes”97%. Is jihad inner struggle? Yes”3%…

The rest of the article bristles with statistics about Islam’s doctrines and history. The method at CSPI (Center for the Study of Political Islam) seems to provide a terribly needed clear, synoptic overview of Islam.

In a sane world, the Iranians would be marginalized for crimes against humanity. But we do not live in a sane world. The PC-ocrats (the new world government) have decided that the human condition can be easily understood: West bad, Islam good.

For those not willing to submit to the dictates of political correctness (which means de facto Islamic domination, because the most committed always overcome the weak in a moral vacuum), our “leaders” have nothing to say.

Start saying it: West bad, Islam good. Unless we grow some hormone-generating organs, we are doomed to submission in the face of the uncompromising evil of Islamism.

If the Iranians are celebrating the US embassy siege, then President Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad should have the role of lighting the candles on the cake.

After all, Ahmadinejad was directly involved
in the 1979-1981 U.S. Embassy Takeover.

It is well known that five former American hostages confirmed Ahmadinejad as one of their captors.

Daniel Pipes article, “Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and the 1979-1981 U.S. Embassy Takeover” recounts the words of some former American captors.

William J. Daugherty, a former intelligence officer, said he saw Ahmadinejad 8 to 10 times at the start of his captivity: “I recognized him right off. … I remember so much his hatred of Americans. It just emanated from every pore of his body.”

Every now and then, someone comes along and posts here a passionate plea for the oppressed Iranians, ever so ready, any minute now, to cast off the chains of the mullahocracy. (These pleas occur despite the fact that Iranians voted for Islam, and yet more Islam, and their touching readings of “Lolita” occur while piously encased in hijab and manteaux). I’m being proactive here: instead of waiting for the inevitable post, I’ll simply direct readers again to (of all things!) an article in the New York Times, dated August 6, 2006, by Michael Slackman, titled “Iranian 101: A Lesson for Americans: The Fine Art of Hiding What You Mean To Say.”

An apropos excerpt — and actually the opening salvo:

“IT is certainly unfair to accuse all Iranians of being liars. The label is judgmental and reeks of stereotype. The more appropriate way to phrase the Iranian view toward honesty, the way many Iranians themselves describe it, is to say that being direct and telling the truth are not prized principles in Iran.

“Often, just the opposite is true. People are expected to give false praise and insincere promise. They are expected to tell you what you want to hear to avoid conflict, or to offer hope when there is none.”

  9. says

They are not celebrating the US embassy siege per se. They are celebrating the chance to teach the Americans in the embassy about Allah. The whole hostage crisis was a misunderstanding. Islam is a religion of peace. They were just trying to teach some Americans about Islam. No different from Jehovah’s Witnesses knocking on your door. The Islamists are just so full of love that they want us all to share in the joys of Allah. When they cut off our heads, it’s because they love us. Islam is peace and love.

  10. says

Islam has similarities to Nazism and the Japanese “Hakko ichiu” in how rituals, and trance following upon mass ritual, result in a mind-set devoid of self-criticism. In each case a designated enemy is dehumanized in the mind of the believer and the beliefs (often) allegedly come from God. In all three cases noted, there is a mandate to bring the world to submission.

Though Islam is, at its core, based in Arab-racist-supremacist “Hakko ichiu”, it has effectively packistaned-up many indigenous cultures (Persian, Indian, Sudan, etc.) and has had them internalize the supremacist delusions in Islam, as the deluded bow to “the best people”.

The truth of how such a supremacist ideology must be overcome is not pleasant. As WW2 progressed, it became apparent to the allies that both Nazism and Hakko Ichiu had to be burned out. Only that result brings the supremacists to their senses, enables them to let go of the dogmas, rituals and trance, that dehumanize others. In this matter, including Iran and Saudi-A-Gas-Station, it will be no different. The belief-system, as with Nazism and Hakko ichiu are not reformable at the core.

No one should be surprised at the Heil and “Hakko ichiu! Banzai”! so often encountered with Muslims (as in Iran). They are literally out of their minds in such a state.

Iran is in the embarassing position of having to export its Oil and import refined Oil back as its refining capabilities are massively limited. It is a _BIG_ weakness of Iran. It can be brought to its knees that quick.

Having said that, the US has not built any refineries since 1964. And the refineries it has are only capable of processing sulphur-free Oil.
The vast majority of Oil from suppliers does contain Sulphur. Is it not about time that the US builds refineries that can process Oil containing Sulphur?

Sounds to me like they’re too lazy to attempt the personal, inner struggle type of jihad. Maybe they’re afraid of what they might find out about themselves, were they to do any sort of moral inventory.

But then, it’s not as if they could go ‘girl-watching’ or anything like that. The girls in Iran all look the same. They can’t put together garage bands and enjoy creating music. Music is haram.

They can’t play around with their writing skills, since fiction is haram. And the writing of poetry is beyond the pale.

How do you think Bush can claim to be protecting this country from attacks when anyone and everyone can cross our southern border and the only people prosecuted are Border Patrol agents?

On the GOP side, only Tom Tancredo and Duncan Hunter stand out. I wouldn’t trust any of the others to stand up for America. They’re all too busy setting up their next consulting gig or writing the next treaty to strip us of still more of our sovereignty, in the name of free trade.

    – All the people who chant “death to America” and “celebrate” the anniversary of the embassy siege are in reality members of various militias. They say that it’s proof of the weakness of the Iranian government, that Ahmadinejad needs a core of believers to protect him because most Iranians are tired of revolution (barf!).

    – The kicker: all the young people want to come to America. Ipso facto, they love America and are our friends and are just waiting for the day when we can all be one happy family, like it was in the old days. In the meantime, don’t read too much into their demonstrations. They’re just doing what is necessary to live long and prosper in the Iran of today. (Wink, wink.)

The chanters of the “death to america” movement presently seen across the globe have failed to learn an important lesson as to how the universe actualy works: what we send out is usually returned to us by the universe.

These people we see in televised images chanting “death to america” in the Middle East and elsewhere (name any region of the third world, it goes on there) are proponents of mass attacks on the AMERICAN PEOPLE to glorify their ‘religion’ and elsewhere in the third world to glorify themselves. Participating in this “movement” to kill American people gives third world-ers a sense of power in their otherwise abysmal, abject, miserable lives under the thumb(s) of corrupt imams or local dictator (it has nothing to do with US foreign policy and never did; this is SRICTLY a vandetta about targeting and killing American PEOPLE and always has been). But they forget that when you send something out into the universe it can come back.

    That includes “death to america.”
