If the light bulb has yet to go on in Washington that U.S. sponsorship of Muslim-only jihad states is a bad idea -- whether in "Palestine" or Kosovo -- it certainly is on in Jerusalem. Writing in the Jerusalem Post, one of Israel's most influential commentators, Caroline Glick, puts two and two together and, unlike our State Department, gets four:
...The Saudi-financed Kosovo Muslims have destroyed more than 150 churches over the past several years, and have terrorized Kosovar Christians and so led to their mass exodus from the province.As Julia Gorin documented in a recent article in Jewish World Review, Kosovo's connections with Albanian criminal syndicates and global jihadists are legion. Moreover, Kosovar independence would likely spur irredentist movements among the Muslim minorities in all Balkan states. In Macedonia for instance, a quarter of the population is Muslim. These irredentist movements in turn would increase Muslim irredentism throughout Europe just as Palestinian statehood will foment an intensification of the Islamization of Israel's Arab minority....
In a bid both to prevent the Bush administration from turning on Israel in the aftermath of the failure of the Annapolis conference and to make clear Israel's own rejection of the notion that a "solution" to the Palestinian conflict with Israel can be imposed by foreign powers, the Olmert government should immediately and loudly restate its opposition to the imposition of Kosovar independence on Serbia.
In the interest of defending the nation-state system, on which American sovereignty and foreign policy is based, the US should reassess the logic of its support for the establishment of Muslim-only states. It should similarly revisit its refusal to openly support the right of non-Islamic states like Israel, Serbia and even France, to assert their rights to defend their sovereignty, national security and national character from outside-sponsored domestic Islamic subversion.

Time for our government to re-think its policies in the interests of ALL minorities threatened with ethnic cleansing (including Christian ones), and in light of our long-term interests and of genuine regional and global stability. The religious dimensions of conflict need to be fully understood and aknowledged, too.

So it is pointless to build 'nation states' within the Islamic sphere of influence, since this is a contradiction of terms. Also, most important, the 'separation of church (mosque) and state'. Unless the Ummah-Sharia leaning states can accept these conditions, not another penny should be spent on them, nor another voice of support. The Ummah and Sharia must be condemned as the enemy of humanity. Let's get out of the Islamic fog and back to reality.

Under the Clinton administration, the U.S. sided with the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) in their armed conflict against the Serbs despite the fact that the KLA had ties to Islamic terrorism and trafficked in heroin.

During the late 90's in Kosovo, the KLA carried out numerous attacks on Serbian police, army, and civilian targets, and set up roadblocks in the countryside. Around May 1998, the KLA effectively controlled a quarter of the province, centered on the region of Drenica.
There were widespread reports of war crimes committed by the KLA both during and after the armed conflict with the Serbs. The violent crimes were directed against both Serbs, other ethnic minorites (primarily Roma) and against ethnic Albanians accused of collaborating with the Serb authorities.
According to a 2001 report by Human Rights Watch,
"The KLA was responsible for serious abuses… including abductions and murders of Serbs and ethnic Albanians considered collaborators with the state."
Human Rights Watch writes:
"Elements of the KLA are also responsible for post-conflict attacks on Serbs, Roma, and other non-Albanians, as well as ethnic Albanian political rivals... widespread and systematic burning and looting of homes belonging to Serbs, Roma, and other minorities and the destruction of Orthodox churches and monasteries... combined with harassment and intimidation designed to force people from their homes and communities... elements of the KLA are clearly responsible for many of these crimes."

It makes little sense for the US to support a foreign policy that favors Kosovo becoming an independent state. If Kosovo becomes independent from Serbia, the foundations of democracy will gradually begin to start chipping away in Europe. Sharia will gain momentum. Many other Muslim enclaves throughout Europe will demand independence. Jihad activity will increase. Muslims in other nations in Europe will become emboldened to separate and demand their own statehood.
An independent Kosovo isn't in the best interest of the US. The Bush administration should reverse its foreign policy and cease its support for an independent Kosovo. It is absurd for the U.S to prop up a jihad state in Europe while it simultaneously spends billions of dollars ( and US military casualities) on creating a "democracy" throughout Iraq and the Middle East. This "schizophrenic" U.S. foreign policy must be brought back into the light of reason.
There are absolutely no guarantees that Kosovo will become a secular independent state as policy makers in Washington envisage. Take a look at what is occurring with the Palestinians today and this message should strike a raw nerve in my argument. Palestinians don't want secularism they want Islamism that destroys Israel and her democratic leanings. The same kind of outcome, albeit in a slightly different form, will likely occur in Kosovo if it is allowed to become an independent Muslim state in Europe.
On the topic of needed policy changes toward the Islamic world, here is a copy of my October 6, 2007 letter to President Bush. This letter was my response to his astonishingly clueless speech at the now annual Iftaar dinner.
Since this letter probably never made it past the White House mail room, I am hoping that maybe one of his minions will finally read it here.
Dear Mr. President,
I have carefully read the transcript of your recent speech at the White House sponsored Iftaar dinner to make sure that I actually heard what I thought I heard. I was once again shocked to hear that, from all indications, you actually believe that pious Muslims share the fundamental values that our Constitution protects.
Among other astonishing things, you stated without qualification that Muslims desire “to live in freedom and peace.” Anyone with even a cursory knowledge of Islamic doctrine, which comes straight from the Koran and the example of Mohammed, knows what these terms mean to pious Muslims.
Freedom, to pious Muslims, means freedom from the influence of Infidel behaviors, practices, customs, and cultural influences. That is to say, they explicitly reject our values, our Constitution, our man-made laws, and our very existence as non-Muslims. Muslims themselves, always and everywhere, may exist only as slaves of Allah, following Islamic Sharia law in every detail of their lives. Non-Muslims, being defined by the Koran as sub-human inferiors, may exist only if they bow to Islamic law, under humiliating conditions of degradation and servitude—that is, they may exist only as what the Muslims call dhimmis.
Peace, to mainstream Muslims, means the peace that comes after every nation, region, and individual on earth is brought into submission under Islamic Sharia law. Until that day arrives, the great body of Muslims in the world (referred to as the Umma) is required, as their primary collective and individual duty, to make perpetual and total war (jihad), by every means available--including violence, subversion, demographic warfare, and propaganda--on The Other, which they refer to as the House of War (dar al-Harb). Until that day of “justice” arrives, Muslims must make fascist war on all of humanity until Islam is completely purified—purged of Infidel influence in every sphere of existence, at every level, in every place on earth.
It is clear from your speech that you do not understand these basic mainstream Islamic ideas, that you have never read the Koran with any comprehension, and that you are completely ignorant of the violent and intolerant example of Mohammed who, as a bloodthirsty warlord was the opposite of a Jesus figure, and whom without apology or questioning the Muslims revere as their model of perfect behavior for all time (by verse 33:21 of the Koran).
Mr. President, I have defended you many times in the past when you were viciously attacked as being a simpleton or a fool. In the face of this foolish Iftaar speech, and others like it in recent years, I can no longer bring myself to do that.
On the most important issue of our time, our Commander in Chief is failing in his primary duty to protect our nation and our Constitution. He utterly fails to understand the nature of the fascist enemy we face. He breaks bread with, and effusively praises, those who would enslave us, encouraging them to renew their centuries-old assault on humanity. He opens the door to uncontrolled Muslim immigration into our country. He invites them to build their mosques (forts behind enemy lines) and their Islamic indoctrination and propaganda centers in our communities and schools across the country. He invites them into our government agencies at every level, including our security services, where they can serve as subversive moles for the Umma. He welcomes them to our technology, which they can then exploit to serve their jihad. He gives them copious foreign aid, even funding their schools abroad, where hatred for our western society is the primary subject. He creates and sustains new Islamic terror states in Kosovo, Iraq, and Afghanistan, where the genocidal Koran is the law of the land--enshrined in their constitutions--and where Christians, Buddhists, and all other non-Muslim religions are violently persecuted and purged on a daily basis.
Our Commander in Chief lives in a fantasy world concocted by Islamic apologists in support of an aggressive supremacist campaign of societal subversion, intimidation, and domination. In the face of all historical and contemporary evidence, he almost daily asserts that “Islam is a Religion of Peace.” He does not even understand that the word Islam means submission, not peace. By being so duped, our Commander in Chief is putting our families, our nation, and our very civilization at risk.
Unless these fantasies are dispelled, and policies toward the Islamic world restored to sanity, some day in the not too distant future, our streets will look like Baghdad, or Beirut, or Gaza, or the suburbs of Paris. All trust among citizens will disappear. Our society will sink into tribalism as a means of self-protection from the daily depredations from a mushrooming Islamic population—physical threats, kidnappings, shootings, gang rapes of Infidel women, hangings, stonings, and church burnings will be the norm. There will be huge Islamic no-go zones in our large cities, where Islamic law will replace the law of the land, areas so unsafe for Infidels that even the local police and firemen will not dare to enter. Our once noble and civil society will have been destroyed by the cancer of the fascist political death cult called Islam, just as Islam has utterly destroyed countless civilizations and whole empires in the past.
And that, sir, will be your legacy to the United States of America.
God bless the United States of America. And Lord, so that we can protect her, and so that we can protect our loved ones from constant intimidation today and a dismal future of subjugation tomorrow, give us the intellectual strength to accept the truth about the voracious Islamic monster that we are facing anew. Lord, give us also the wisdom and the courage to act resolutely and effectively in our self defense.
We should also stand up and applaud Clinton for helping the jihadists along. The jihadists got in a little mess when their victims started striking back at them. And as usual the muslim M.O. is to claim victimhood. They do it so well! And everyone believes them - so we sent our troops to help them continue on slaughtering more non-muslims, mostly Christians.
Yep, a good ole slaughter - nothing messes it up like the victims striking back. Geesh, they should have known they were nothing but kufir and are deserving of a good beheading.

Very good letter, Stendec. We know how, per Islamic invert logic, their ideas of Peace and Freedoms are totally corrupted into Submission and Slavery (to Allah), and the opposite of ours. Mr. Bush and his entourage must understand this, if we are to confront creeping sharianization enslavement of our society. The alarm of future ‘no go’ areas within our cities, and that mosques are ‘forts’ behind enemy lines, is right on. The failure of ‘multiculturalism’ when it comes to Islam is legend, in every country where they have settled. Such societies quickly regress into violence, threats to our freedoms, distrust, and idiocy. The historical ignorance rampant on this very topic among the Westerners who have become Islamic apologists is staggering. People really seem to think that Islam could somehow represent "progress" for Westerners. I can forgive Muslims for thinking this because they are so far removed from reality it's like trying to explain quantum physics to a retard to explain simple aspects of Western historical development like why church and state need to be separated to allow the full development of the individual personality.
It's the Westerners who don't realize the danger in trying to "ride the Islamic tiger" (e.g., the cretins who hold up "We are all Hezbollah" signs at marches) to dethrone an otherwise historically victorious Western civilization that I cannot and will not forgive. Not only Jews. All minorities. Ethnic Turks have been forced out of Kosovo for decades under the threat of ethnic Albanian gangs. A village near Gnjilane, near Kosovo, called Dobrcane, which was exclusively populated by Turks had its own elementary school, where classes were in Turkish. Later, there were no Turks there at all

Not only minorities, but also even some KLA leaders who were considered too accommodating were murdered. Ekrem Rexha, a senior KLA leader who spoke several languages, from Malisevo, was slowly excluded the UCK. Mr Rexha focused on achieving some sort of cohabitation after the war. He was murdered by the KLA.
Read the testimony of a German soldier/journalist - Mr FJ Hutch -who was embedded with the KLA for the better part of a year all through NATO's bombing campaign. Powerful, and damning, testimony.
Witness: "Yes. In particular, there were officers of Arab origin. These officers were -- I wrote about later in a report. The forward air control officers, they were from -- I think the term -- there was an American from the MPRI who recruited these officers from the Mujahedin brigades of the Bosnian army as mercenaries, and they offered them a great deal of money. These officers were then trained in Turkey, and from spring 1998, from February in particular, they were sent to the KLA in Kosovo as forward air control officers to plan and carry out.........They were officers who had been recruited. They had a very good training in English, and they were trained to organise air operations, air raids. And in terms of quantity, each brigade had one of these officers who was particularly well-protected. And during the war, these officers, the more became -- there were more available and so they were able to delegate further down the hierarchy of the battalion"
These elite Mujahideen had fought in Bosnia and came from all over the Arab world.
This number, around 100, neatly ties in with Abu Hamza's and the Pakistan President Musharraf's own accounts. In total, around 500 Mujahideen were recruited by the West to kill Infidels in Kosovo. The 100 elite were given particular role of providing bombing targets.
They were trained by NATO, in Turkey, a good year before the bombing in 1999. The attack on Yugo/Serbia was planned by NATO a good couple of years before the shit actually hit the fan, just as Albricht made sure that the conditions for the Serbs were unacceptable. This cozying up to the Islamists has backfired in a most appalling way for the US.
It wasn't the only way that NATO and KLA cooperated. There was a permanent assistance in the KLA training camps, which was done by MPRI alongside other mercenary units, and also elite Brit troops were reconnoitering in the Dulje pass ( southern Kosovo ) well before the bombing started.
The structure of the KLA changed radically after Holbrooke visited the KLA in the summer of 98. Before then, it had been your typical terror outfit. Loose structure between each group, informal, spontaneous decisions on attacks, etc. After Holbrooke's meeting, the KLA quickly became highly organised along army lines. State-of-the-art weapons replaced the old muskets. Instead of old Soviet sniper rifles the KLA started to use the latest US army versions, etc.
The KLA quickly became very well armed. By spring 1999, that also included modern night vision equipment, thermal imaging equipment. Night vision equipment of the second and third generation. It also comprised, in particular, anti-tank weapons but also Stinger and the Russian Strelovac ground-air missiles
How did the KLA get such modern equipment? Easy peasy. Just kidnap some young girls and enter the heroin trade in a big way.
Witness:"In the south of Kosovo, this was a transit area for women who were forced to become prostitutes in Europe. It was clear that with the ammunition transports that drugs were also transported in the other direction, so that Kosovo, so to speak, was a transit route for traffic of every description. And the KLA was, therefore, able to spend a great deal of money to equip themselves to a very high standard of technology."
Billions of dollars in aid and, almost 10 years later, Kosovo still has no industry.

Should it miraculously reach his desk, it could not fail to have an impact unless he really is a Manchurian Candidate who is controlled behind the scenes. That being the case, he'll never see it. As a baby boomer (batch of 1949), I am deeply ashamed of what my self-indulgent and willfully ignorant generation, amongst them the current and previous presidents, has done to the fabric of our nation, on this and related issues.
The strongest weapon we have in our self defense is the simple truth about Islam. Even though most of what we write or say will fall on deaf ears, or will disappear into the "bit bucket" of willful ignorance, we need to challenge every political leader, every news commentator, every wayward academic, every propagandist, every apologist, and every "useful idiot" every time he misrepresents, distorts, or attempts to hide the truth on this issue.
Many here are fully engaged in that battle, and I will do my part as I can. Thank you to Robert for showing us the way.
