Norwegian court upholds expulsion of jihadist leader Mullah Krekar

This case has been dragging on for years; search the JW and DW archives and you'll turn up a lot from around 2004 and 2005 about Mullah Krekar. And finally, a bit of anti-dhimmitude: "Norwegian court upholds expulsion of Mullah Krekar," from The Associated Press (thanks to LGF):

OSLO, Norway: The Supreme Court on Thursday upheld a government order to expel the founder of Ansar al-Islam, a suspected Islamic terror group in Iraq, as a threat to Norwegian national security.

Two lower courts had also upheld a government order to deport Kurdish leader Mullah Krekar, a refugee in Norway since 1991. Even though the Supreme Court ruling was final, conditions in Iraq made it unlikely that he would promptly be returned to his homeland.

"There is clearly enough evidence that Krekar is a threat to national security through his presence in Norway," said Hans Flock, one of the Supreme Court justices.

About time you noticed.

i predict islamic unrest in norway. i recently returned from visitng my brother who lives there. the pro-palestinian support there is sickening. they relish the fact that they have thousands of islamic refugees living in central oslo, even though the crime rate has gone up and pakistani taxi drivers are known to be the ones smuggling drugs and money.
as a british nationalist i was shocked at their appeasing liberalism and their PC madness. if michae savage went there he'd have a heart attack!

Mullah Krekar is a Kurdish leader. I thought Kurds were . . . different.

So how many years does it take to deport 1 or 2 of these people? In the meantime, how much has Norway's muslim population increased by?

It's a numbers game, and we're losing.

What's the problem? Deportation? Are they members of EU? Italy deports them. Spain deports them. And now France deports them. They don't have a problem. Just deport them.

Better yet, don't let them in!

tours

norway is not a member of the EU. many thousands of muslims in burqhas, head scarves and pakistanis. you wanna see extreme left wing politics, go to norway. it's really sickening.

i really expect bombs to go off soon and the norweigans will wonder how much more they can help their muslim "friends".

norway is marxist dhimmi state.

Not bad Norway.
But it has taken you 16 years!!!

Ideally we would like to get the deportation process down to 1 day.

I heare there's a semi-cohesive patch of floating kelp in the Sargasso Sea that would make a nice sanctuary for Krekar (sounds enough like Kraken).

Give him some snowshoes and a fishing pole (hook sold seperately) and let him prosper there.

"seperately spelled separately" ...unless typing too fast.

Strange Law from Britain:

"It is illegal for women to be topless in Liverpool, unless they work in a tropical fish store."

From Profitsbeard:"I hear there's a semi-cohesive patch of floating kelp in the Sargasso Sea that would make a nice sanctuary for Krekar (sounds enough like Kraken). Give him some snowshoes and a fishing pole (hook sold separately) and let him prosper there."

Oh har di har, PB.

It's been a good day so far. A new Fjordman article - amongst his best - and some Jihadi is getting his marching orders

HURRAH! for Norway.

...Mullah Krekar is a Kurdish leader. I thought Kurds were . . . different....

nabi ZK here with some thoughts on mullah krekar.

Krekman is leader of ansar al islam. At the start of the war they had a base in the mountains near Sulimaniya, near the iranian border. It was there that zarqawi first went to be in position for the war. iranians allowed or helped him to cross their territory and he wound up with krekmans group. So krekman facillitated zarqawi.

I recall seeing the ansar base over run by PKK peshmurga in the early days of the war. The friendly amrike sent many cruise missles to the base of the ansar and then the PKK went in to mop up. A dastardly attack indeed! I recall seeing a mosque under construction with it's dome bombed out and the letters PKK scrawled across it. that was krekman's mosque... ;)

Anyhow not to be daunted by little setbacks the ansar replied with a devastating suicide attack which was directed at kurdish political leaders. Many were killed. It took, like, two days for the ansar to respond in this manner. nabi ZK was amazed at the time to think that they mounted such an attack within days of being decisively smashed. So ansar is, or was(?), a serious group.

krekman is and has been fighting a war against the US from his digs in Oslo. I nabi ZK will be happy to see him explaining his activities in more detail to the Iraqi authorities. It is my sincere hope that they will be able to schelule an interview with him real soon.

...Stuck Mojo Rocks...believe it...ZK out...

Krekar's case just shows how inadequate Western laws are when dealing with parasitical hate-mongers who have come 'to stay' in order to further the Islamization of Western countries.

What makes Krekar different from Al Hilali in Australia and so many others in the West who fleece the taxpayers and the justice system out of millions of dollars before they can be ejected?

And in the rare cases when our governments take heart and finally pull the plug, these 'good Muslims' leave their brood of 6, 8 or 10 behind like a cuckoos nest, for the infidels to feed.

A major rethink is necessary.

-----------------------------------

A liite more than one hundred years ago, the Kurds were brought in the Ottoman Empire from their original homeland in Western Iran. Being Sunnis they were loyal to the Ottoman Caliph and not to the Shii'te rulers of Iran. The Ottomans promised them the homes and women of any Armenian and Assyrian Christians they killed. Because of this the Kurds were the worst perpetrators of Ottoman genocide.

Today, little has changed, especially in Iraqi Kurdistan. In the last five years, under the eyes of the US military, the Kurds have ethnically cleansed two-thirds of the Christian Assyrian nation from their ancient homeland.

The only Kurds worth supporting, and that with extreme reservations, are Ocalan's so-called Kurdish "terrorists" in Turkey. This is only because that particular group of Marxist Kurds are killing Turks instead of Christians. However, in Iraq, the Kurds are just as murderous as ever against Christians even though they are supposedly pro-American.
