"The Libel Tourist" is a short-form documentary film produced by the Moving Picture Institute. MPI's short film program seeks to provide filmmakers with the opportunities to display their filmmaking skills while making an impact on behalf of human freedom.Though it addresses one of the gravest subjects of contemporary political life, it is only 8 minutes long. In those 8 minutes, our eyes are opened to a new and chilling threat: the story of how Saudi petrodollars have cowed, silenced, and almost broken freedom of speech in the West.
The film documents the true story of how an American-Israeli author Dr. Rachel Ehrenfeld was ordered to destroy all copies of her book in a country where it had never been published- England—after a notoriously litigious Saudi billionaire sued her in a British court. Ehrenfeld's book Funding Evil; How Terrorism is Financed – and How to Stop It, accuses the Saudi billionaire of funding of terrorism.
Now Ehrenfeld is fighting back, counter-suing him in the New York, to defend her and our First Amendment rights. She speaks on film for the first time in "The Libel Tourist."

Saudi audacity is 'breathtaking'... in the stink kind of way. They use our freedoms to abuse our freedoms. What rot! Our judicial better get wise and soon, don't know about Brit justice, maybe they're too far gone already. We must resist this attack upon our freedoms. Stop Saudi funding.
I dearly hope Dr Ehrenfeld finds justice in the US courts, it is clear that this commodity is in short supply in my own country.
I find it especially galling that this book is effectively banned in the UK, while the offensive (and illegal) publications littering arabic bookshops here are sold openly without let or hindrance.
I am minded to get a copy of Dr Ehrenfeld's book shipped in from the US if only to re-state my rights under the UK's unwritten constitution.
Does anyone know anything about another book called Alms for Jihad? It's by Robert O. Collins. That was pulped too. Does anyone have a copy?
I was shocked when I saw a video of the RCMP in Ottawa rushing to the aid of the Saudi's just after the 9/11/01 slaughter , the RCMP were told to wisk the Embassey staff to a Safe-Area in Black unmarked SUV's .
Later I found out that the Saudi's also ORDERED Canada to not let any Jewish person work for , or step on the Embassey property as a Employee of the Security Forces under Government Control.
Then one night on the 6:00pm news there were Muslims punks outisde the US Embassey in Ottawa that shouted bigotory slur at American and the USA while destroying a Bible , the RCMP did squat to stop it and even in Toronto when the Rent-A-Mob yahoo's that support Hamas were burning Israeli and American flags and spitting at Police....nothing was done for fear of "Incite" more violence by these Pro-Hamas Muslims.
I'm really getting sick of the 'Islam is Peace' tripe and that Muslims are a "Race" to qualify for all the Human Rights Codes for "Racism" and Islamophobia.
The Islamists want to "Incite" a reaction to justify JIhad and mass-slaughter with Suicide-Bombers as part of "Justice & Peace" once they murdered everyone they hate or doesn't bow to the Moon God and Pedophile/Misogeny example of the Perfect HUman to Idolize and exalt at Madrassas.
Have you heard a lot, or perhaps not so much, about the BEA scandal in England, and the Saudi slush fund, the $2 billion dollars that allegedly went to Prince Bandar alone, for walking-around-money? Have you heard a lot, a little, nothing at all about the 66 suitcases full of cocaine -- or was it heroin? -- that a Saudi "prince," using his diplomatic immunity, attempted to smuggle on his own jet into France, for re-sale?
Google around. See how much in the mainstream press or in the press outside of the country directly involved (in the first case, the United Kingdom, in the second case, France) those stories were covered, and for how long.

hopfully the poltionions will get some balls and tell theses 7rh century barbaians off but dispite cannada having massive oil reserves but unfortunately its all about votes and the fact that centrall canada control who becomes the Government of Canada most of the time and the Liberal party of Canada has been sucking up to middle eastern immigrants or their votes for years

I find it ironic that the film towards the end mentions astonishing Saudi corruption over a montage of former (and current) U.S. presidents. I'll let Robert or Hugh fill in the blanks.

I do not see how a British judge has the jurisdiction to order books-films destroyed outside of the UK. I am assuming they are published in New York so this will be a sad day if the publisher complied with this judges orders. Hopefully they will tell him to go take a hike.
